I ordered 4 clay impressions — one of each paw so that my family members, who also deeply loved my baby, could have one last little piece of him. One of the impressions came with a shadow box frame that was pictured to look like it was made of high quality wood. It is NOT wood— it’s just a cheap, ugly frame with trim covered in bright red sticker paper that so badly tries to pass as faux cherry wood. Not worth however much that cost (no idea because I wasn’t told, I was only told the final tally but it was the most deluxe option so I expected a high quality frame). The other 3 clay impressions were $70 each. Yup, $70 for clay. To charge a grieving pet parent $70 for a clay impression already feels like extortion. But the worst part is that they were done so so badly. The paw impressions are smudged as if my baby was moving around… but he was dead so why the heck does it look like they were wrestling with a squirmy dog. To make it worse, the clay never set properly so every time I touched the impressions to view them, the powdery clay clung to my fingers like loose chalk and my baby’s paw print disappeared a little bit. I wanted these to last a lifetime but instead they are already disintegrating and it’s only been a week since I lost my baby. $70 for something that can literally blow away like loose chalk if I breathe too heavily or touch it is ridiculous.I will admit that initially I was impressed. Initially. My baby’s ashes came in a nice blue velvety bag, then placed into his wooden urn and another velvety bag which was then placed into a large gift bag with all the other items I ordered. I opened the envelope first which had a card with a heart-shaped window and a plastic baggie filled with my baby’s hair. It was a beautiful, unexpected surprise that made me cry. Then, however, I was so disheartened when I opened the exorbitantly overpriced clay paw impressions. If you can plan ahead, I would recommend choosing a different pet afterlife company.

I went to the physical location to speak with someone about pre-planning for my fur-baby. While the prices (which I could not find on the website) are about what I expected, the person who answered the door did not seem very interested in speaking to me. "Cremation would cost this, urns start at this." That was all I got. It wasn't given anything else. There were some urns on display which I was not told about. I know there are other options for the cremation; those were not discussed. I really think I will be looking at other options and would encourage others to preplan to at the last minute you don't have to deal with someone who appears to have better things to do.

This has been the hardest loss I’ve ever experienced. After such a loss, you start thinking of the things you wish you did to prepare for “after,” one of which for me was saving some of his fur as a keepsake. I hated that I didn’t have any of his fur left. Then I picked up his ashes, and what a beautiful experience that was. I received the clay print and ink print that I asked for, but in addition to that, I also received some of his fur. I immediately started crying, I couldn’t believe it, I was beyond grateful. So I just wanted to say thank you for doing that, I thought I would never be able to see or touch his fur again, but now I have some that I can treasure forever.

Pani: These folks do genuinely care for you and your family. I wanted to be with my girl Pani at time of cremation, sent an email inquiring an ETA if I could make it. I didn't respond to their reply, I was called. Not only was the person making the call fantastic and informative to help me make a decision, there was no rush. Accommodating and truthful. Non biased. They had my girl on hold during the interim till contact was made and a true decision. The inscription is beautiful, thank you for the care. It takes a whole team to give all as such. From the ones that collect, handle, walk with their shell to the ashes. To you all, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you.

We had to lay one of my babies to rest on 12/28/22, the emergency vet already worked with Pet Angel so we went this route since we were already dealing with so much. I called Pet Angel the same day to order a paw print impression and inked print ($30/ each in addition to cremation costs) and was told my baby would be ready for pick up from my local vet on Tuesday, 01/03/23. On 01/03 I called around 10am for an update since I’d forgotten to ask and had to leave a voicemail. I called my vet to be safe and was told they hadn’t received any deliveries but would call me if/when they did. On Wednesday I still hadn’t heard anything so I called Pet Angel again and was told “oh, he’ll be dropped off tomorrow (Thursday) that’s our delivery day” at this point I expressed my frustration at the misinformation as I’d taken time off work to accommodate retrieving his cremains. At this point I was told I could come pick up his cremains, I again expressed frustration because I would have come by on 12/29 (I was later told he was ready this day) rather than wait until after the new year had this option been presented day one.Thursday, 01/04, it’s 1pm and I haven’t heard anything so once again call Pet Angel to see what’s going on. The only information I get is to wait an additional 2.5 hours and he should be delivered. I got, what I feel was an empty apology for all the delays and misinformation and no offer for compensation or empathy for the stress. I finally got a call at 3pm from my vet that he’d been dropped off.All of this could have been avoided had I just been given all the options on day one. The lack of urgency and empathy from Pet Angel will keep me from using their services again. I would have expected a lot more care and help from a business that deals with such sensitive times and situations.

Much gratitude to Waylon at Pet Angels, Mobile, who went over and above for my sweet Polo. I had to make that awful decision for my sweet baby on Thursday, May 13, 2021. I then had to make the choice for the remains and I opted for the communal cremation so he could run free with the lizards and squirrels! Of course I second guessed every decision I made, including this one. My vet mentioned that Pet Angels would handle the cremation, so I decided to call/email them. I just needed to know that they truly were getting my Polo and what the process was. Waylon was amazing. He explained everything and even offered the paw print that I had wished I had thought of before. He kept me informed every step of the way, even taking a special request from me for a lock of my baby’s hair. The emails were so personal and I know it took lots of his time. I was struggling emotionally a lot, but after chatting with Waylon and being informed on every step of the process, I began to find peace. If you are reading this, I know you are going through a terrible time. Please know that Waylon/Pet Angels in Mobile is truly phenomenal in handling the final stages of your baby crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you Waylon for helping me through such a terrible, sad time.

Pet Angel did the cremation of my girl Diesel. They did a great job. Put her in a velveteen bag then in a nice wooden box with her name engraved on it as well as a paw print. She was 15 and Pet Angel did this in a timely manner and I would recommend this place. Thank you Pet Angel.

Our little kitty was picked up from the vet on 12/8 for cremation. 2 weeks later 12/22 I called them because there was only one business day before Christmas and we still didn’t have her back. The person I talked to was really nice, explained that they were waiting for the pendant we’d ordered to be ready, but that they could go ahead and send her urn on to the vet clinic for pickup so we could have her home for Christmas. Today (12/23), they instead waited until a few minutes before they closed and set the delivery schedule date back to sometime after Christmas as a single package. They did not contact either me or the vet clinic to communicate any issues.I’m so heartbroken right now. I just needed her home for Christmas, and could’ve driven to Mobile and picked her up myself had they not expressed that it would be no problem to have her home today.Update:I called Pet Angel on 12/29 to let them know I intended to pick her up myself the next day. The person on the phone, despite me spelling her name multiple time, informed me that she had been sent to Orlando(I live in Milton!) before getting someone else and realizing they were giving me information about a completely different pet. I went today (12/30) to pick her up and spoke to the manager while there hoping to at least get some closure and clarity on the situation even though there was nothing that could be done at this point to fix anything.I was given nothing but lies and excuses by the manager. According to him, a system error caused the change to be immediately overwritten back to the original delivery date of Jan. 6th. They were unaware of this error in the system until now, but somehow it has also already been fixed. He also tried to shift blame onto the vet clinic, telling me that they had access to the same system information, and that they should have seen that the delivery date was wrong and contacted Pet Angel. The vet’s side does not show delivery dates, and they were not responsible for the lack of communication from Pet Angel.The complete lack of empathy and respect for grieving pet owners and the careless way they handled this entire situation was disgusting.

My first experience with Pet Angel was through our vet last year when we lost our Chiquita. I decided to use their services again for our Taco since I was pleased with the way Chiquita was returned back to us. This time I met Waylon who was so caring and compassionate throughout the whole ordeal. When I went pick up Taco's remains, he mentioned he didn't discuss something with me but did it anyway and he reached for a box and pulled out a pawprint of our baby. It made me cry and I just had to hug him! I highly recommend their services. They went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much Waylon. God bless you all.

We lost our boy Cain late last Saturday night. We were beside ourselves and had no idea what to do. It was such a shock. My wife called Med Vet and they took him right away. This evening we received Cain back and though I have not had contact with anyone with Pet Angel personally, I have no doubt by the way he was received that he was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. A beautiful Wooden Urn and paw print along with the certificate just made us feel they truly care. Thank you on behalf of my entire family.

Dali Baria’s ashes arrived today to return her home. Everything was absolutely beautiful and dignified. We put the lovely wooden box on our mantle with her favorite toy that she fetched, Bob. THANK YOU. Everything was a blessing… including her name engraved on the box.We are thankful and blessed by your work.

We had to make the decision to let our sweet hound dog Jack go on July 26th 2021. We knew we wanted to have him cremated due his size. I googled it & found Pet Angel which was near our home. I called & spoke to Waylon he was very kind & understanding. He told us to come right over & he would care of everything. We got our Jack back on July 28th, he was in a beautiful walnut urn. Thank you pet angel for taking good care of our boy.

I was fortunate to have Pet Angel care for my boy "Bosco". They truly are respectful and loving towards there work and to our best friends. I am so grateful that these guys handle him the way they did. The placed him into a beautiful hand carved box that we all appreciated. We would like to thank you for the car of our sweet German Shepherd. He made it to 17, which is forever in GSD world. We picked his ashes up from the vet yesterday and was so relieved to bring our boy home. We were blown away with the thought and care that goes into this process. They did the cremation of our Baby "Jada" she was almost13 and we were told that is a very long life for a Boxer. We received her ashes today in a Beautiful Satin Cover in a Beautiful Wood Box with a lock, along with a Beautiful Card and Pamphlet. They made it very Special in so many ways... Thank You!!!

Im new to Mobile.Don't try to contact this business via message on their website. Although I spent 15 minutes filling out every item on their message form, then verifying that I was not a "robot," the website would not allow me to submit the question I had about eventually cremating my precious, ill, dog. You don't get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression. ESPECIALLY, when it comes to pain & suffering like this.

I lost my baby blue, I could say, because of the care that was not appropriate for his Addison's condition by the vet.My baby collapsed on Thursday, September 12, I called her doctor and he told me he couldn't treat her. My baby died next to me that morning.I have a friend who lost her little one. TheI called and she made arrangements with petangel place which she used for her little one.The Lady who attended her received my baby that same Friday the 13th early in the morning.I arrived crying a sea of cries and the Lady opened the door for me.He received me kindly andHe said where the baby is. That made me cry more. That phrase touched a lot and I'm grateful! She was patient with me as I said goodbye and when the Lady was bringing my baby into theZona asked her to stop because I wanted to hug her one more time, which she kindly returned, uncovered her and allowed me a few more minutes.Then he was calm because as II felt like I couldn't decide what service I wanted.YouI asked for his print in plaster and if he could give me hair.He told me that that same Friday my baby would be cremated.I didn't know I could attend.But maybe I wouldn't have had the courage anyway!My baby is a hard blow, he was my emotional support. Which I cry every day.Very early on Monday IA gentleman called that my baby could be picked up Tuesday.The most painful day arrived but at the same time I felt peace having her back.The same lady who attended me on FridayReceived Tuesday.It came out with a nice little bag and inside was my baby in a beautiful little blue bag. His footprint was put in a very nice way. They gave me a sheet on how to deal with my grief, something that helps me understand how I am feeling. The certificate is beautiful and his urn also the engraving of his name is beautiful and without overlooking that IShe gave hair the two colors my baby had.Apart from everything but absolutely everything had their number that they give, their first and last name which shows that they are careful not to make mistakes.I recommend going in person.I worked for a long time with a veterinarian who, by the way, uses petangel and I know and attest that cm petangel gives clear instructions on how to do the process of when they die in the Hosp and sad things are seen, the petangel instructions are passed x high. I would never let a veterinarian take care of my pet's process at the funeral home. I would do it again personally, it's the best.I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS PLACE AND FOR THIS LADY WHOHE ATTENDED AND THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE PROCESS OF MY BABY THANK YOU A THOUSAND.I have one more baby left and I will definitely use this placeWhen your time comes. Me tuvo paciencia ya que yo me despedí y cuando la Dama estaba entrando a mi bebé a laZona le pedí q se detuviera que quería abrazarla una vez más lo cual ella amablemente regresó la destapo y me permitió unos minutos más.Luego tuvo calma porque como meSentía no podía decidir q servicio quería.LePedí su huella en yeso y si podría darme cabello.Me dijo que ese mismo viernes mi bebé sería cremada.No sabía que podía asistir.Pero tal vez no hubiera tenido el valor de todos modos !Mi bebé es un golpe duro era mi soporte emocional. El cual lloro td los días.El lunes bien temprano meLlamó un caballero q mi bebé podría ser recogida martes.Llegó el día más doloroso pero a la vez sentí paz al tenerla de vuelta.La misma Dama que me atendió viernes meRecibió martes.Salió con una bonita bolsita y dentro estaba mi bebé en una hermosa bolsita azul su huella fue puesta de manera muy bonita , me dieron una hoja de cómo sobre llevar mi duelo algo q me ayuda a entender cómo me estoy sintiendo, el certificado es bello y su urna tmb el grabado de su nombre es hermoso y sin pasar por alto que meDio cabello de los dos colores q tenia mi bebé.Aparte todo pero absolutamente todo tenía su número q ellos dan , su nombre y su apellido lo q hace notar q son cuidadosos de no equivocarse.Recomiendo ir en persona .Trabaje mucho tiempo con un veterinario q por cierto usa petangel y se y doy fe de cm petangel da claras instrucciones de cómo hacer el proceso de cuando fallecen en el Hosp y se miran cosas tristes se pasan las instrucciones de petangel x alto . Jamás dejaría q un veterinario se encargara del proceso de mi mascota cn la funeraria. Lo volvería hacer personalmente es lo mejor.Estoy TAN AGRADECIDA CON ESTE LUGAR Y CON ESTA DAMA QUE MEATENDIÓ Y LAS PERSONAS Q HICIERON EL PROCESO DE MI BEBÉ MIL GRACIAS .Me sobrevive un bebé más y sin duda usaré este lugarCuando llegue su momento. MIL GRACIASPETANGEL Y GRACIASA LA DAMA Y MI DISCULPA CON MI LLANTO NO PREGUNTÉ SU NOMBRE.🤍🙏🏻🪽ESTE LUGAR DEMUESTRA HACER LAS COSAS CON AMOR Y COMPASIÓN! (Creo q tbm tienen mascotas)
