Two months ago Dr. Caroline came to my house to put our beloved Lizzy to sleep. She made us feel confident in our decision and spoke so eloquently and soft to our puppy. Dr. Caroline was compassionate, caring and did not make us feel rushed to say our goodbyes. It was my first time I met Dr. Caroline whom my friend recommended but I felt like she was an old friend. She gave my pup yummy treats and explained the process and made this a pain free experience. We put our other beloved dog down just 9 months prior to this at the vet and I would highly recommend home euthanasia over the vets office. It was well worth the money to do this at home. So peaceful and loving as she took our beloved fur baby away. I cannot recommend her enough. The memory of this last day makes us smile rather than tears. Thank you Dr. Caroline for giving our family member the respect and love she deserves.

Dr. Caroline did more than I could have imagined was possible for my 18 year old extremely fearful, blind cat, who had just had a stroke and was hiding under the bed when Dr. Caroline arrived. Undaunted, Dr. Caroline got right down there with her, and gave her the first relaxing injection. After the medication took hold, she brought my cat out from under the bed, and took the time to ensure that my cat and I were both comfortable during the rest of the procedure. Dr. Caroline showed a lot of compassion as she explained what she was doing every step of the way, and lovingly stroked my cat during the entire process. When it was over, she gently placed her in a lovely basket and covered her body with a beautiful towel, allowing her head to show, as if she were just sleeping. Although saying goodbye to my special companion was difficult, to say the least, hiring Dr. Caroline to help make my cat’s last day the best it could possibly be, was the best decision I could have made. Thank you for being there, Dr. Caroline❣️

Recently, we faced one of the most difficult moments of our lives - saying goodbye to our big, beautiful, one of a kind male cat. He was such a special part of our family, and we are heartbroken. Thankfully Dr. Caroline our Veterinarian came to our home to help us through this emotional time. Her compassion, care, and kindness made all the difference. She treated our amazing Luey with the dignity and respect he deserved. Caroline didn't just care for our Luey, she cared for us, too. I write this freshly as I just said goodbye to my longtime family cat of 17 years.This was our first at home euthanasia and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience (as best as something like this could be). My sweet boy, Buddy, has been battling advanced kidney disease for some time and his vet said that it was time. We had originally scheduled with a different company to do an at home euthanasia for Wednesday, 4 days from now, but Buddy took a turn for the worse this morning and we needed someone to come in today. The company we originally scheduled with (Constant Companion) was unable to come in on such short notice but so very kindly connected us with Dr. Caroline who was able to come by and we are so grateful that she did.Dr. Caroline was so incredibly compassionate, caring, patient, and kind with us. She didn’t rush us at all and took her time explaining every step of the way and answering my repeat questions with patience and care as my brain was too frazzled to retain the information she gave me. I have had in vet euthanasia’s which were always cold, sterile, and felt rushed like bam here’s the injection and that’s that. But Dr. Caroline took her time and I appreciated that it wasn’t a straight shot but first giving him pain meds and some sedation first to get him comfortable and then lulling him into what she would refer to as “the best nap of his life”. My sweet boy looked relaxed and comfortable. I was able to hold him in my arms, cradling like a baby, and talking to him while Dr. Caroline slowly administered the final injection. She also clipped a bit of his beautiful coat to put into a lovely jar with his name on it. Afterwards, she gently placed him in a beautiful wicker basket lined with blankets and covered and tucked him in with a soft blanket. My baby looked so precious and like he was just sleeping.It takes a strong person to do this kind of work and I don’t know where she finds the strength, but people like her are so very needed and I am forever grateful for the service she provides. Like I said at the beginning, this couldn’t have gone a better way and if ever I meet anyone else in need of this kind of service, I will 100% recommend Dr. Caroline to them.Thank you so much, Dr. Caroline for all that you do and your compassionate soul. 💕

My wife already sent a review below, but I wanted to reiterate how Dr. Caroline truly cared for our kitty, Mary Kate, and made her as comfortable as possible. I was unsure how in-home euthanasia would be. I thought it would be more procedural and down to business, and was not expecting how warm and beautiful of a process it was. I absolutely recommend calling Dr. Caroline when/if you have to make the decision to euthanize your "fur baby." She came to my son's home on January 6th. From scheduling to her home visit and then after care, the entire process was seamless and easy for such an extremely sad time. Dr. Caroline is more than 5 stars. Her kindness and compassion in a very tough time is priceless. She is extremely gentle in her approach and voice, making everyone in the room feel as best they can in a terrible situation. We had to put our sweet boy down after almost 12 years together. Dr. Caroline informed us each step of the process and made sure we had plenty of time to say our goodbyes. She made everything comfortable for our dog Bobo and allow us the moment to grieve afterwards. She also transport our love one to be cremated. We chose the rosewood urn for her.

I won't go into detail right now, because I am still mourning after sending off my two best friends a day ago. To anyone having to face this issue, you will not find a more well suited person to help you in your time of need.Although I am grieving, and having never gone through this experience with a pet, let alone two at once; the experience although sad and heart wrenching, was taken care of so thoughtfully, patiently, tenderly, kindly, and beautifully, that if Dr. Caroline treated humans, I'd definitely want her by my side if I were facing my final moments and scared out of my mind.God Bless you Dearest Dr. Caroline, I never, ever would've accepted their passing as well as I have if it were not for your beautiful and loving send off for Paizley and Parker. This was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make, but Dr. Caroline and her team made saying goodbye to our Jia in the most comfortable and caring way for her as well as us.The initial call with Amy set the tone of what came after.Dr. Caroline's genuine humane approach, tenderness, and compassion was much more than I imagined. The hardest decision we had to make after 14yrs with "Rocky Balboa" was that it was time to let him go. He was diagnosed with an Abdominal Mass that took him over within a few months. When he couldn't run around and really enjoy life anymore we knew it was time. We contacted Dr. Caroline and she was really so caring and made Rocky's last moments very peaceful. As we will miss him forever thanks to Dr. Caroline we know he is sleeping in a better place and got to say goodbye at our home the place we shared the memories together and in his favorite spot - sofa time with Momma!

Dr. Caroline Kiert is absolutely outstanding for your pet. She is highly sensitive to your pet's feelings, and to your feelings at this time. She came over on Thursday, May 16, 2024 for my guy Buddy. and she brought a last meal for him of Chicken nuggets and a Chocolate Fudge Sundae. As sick as he was, he loved this meal. Dr. Caroline then proceeded with the most gentle and sensitive ending for him. He never felt any pain, and he passed. I only hope that I pass as compassionately and gently as he did. I would without reservations of any kind, highly recommend to you Dr. Caroline. You will not be sorry to have someone like Dr. Caroline with you at this time for both your beloved pet and for your own feelings.

I feel so blessed to have been able to have Dr. Caroline come to my home for this transition. Dr. Caroline is so kind and gentle and was such a source of comfort to me and my lovely elder cat Cozy. If you are needing someone to come to you please stop scrolling. Dr Caroline came on short notice because my mom’s girl Elsie was having repeated seizures and my mom knew having an in home euthanasia was the best way to let Elsie cross.Dr Caroline goes above and beyond. She showed up and was instantly invested in the situation. She spent so much time talking to my mom and answering all her questions. She explained everything in detail and assured my mom that this was most likely the right thing to do (without spending thousands of dollars on diagnostics). Dr Caroline is an informed and understanding doctor.She lets you take as much time as necessary and makes sure your fur baby is completely sedated and having the best sleep ever.Once your love has crossed over she lets you spend the time you need before gracefully and kindly making sure you know where they will be going and how well they will be taken care of.I promise, you will feel as if your best friend had the most kind and sweet person by their side throughout a really hard process.Please look no further, Dr Caroline is truly the person you not only want by your loves side but yours as well.Thank you so very much Dr Caroline!!!

I was dreading the day but at last it came yesterday. I had to put my loving dog Zelda down after a struggle with cancer. It was kind of sudden as she took a turn for the worse. I called and spoke to a very compassionate receptionist who was able to get me a same day appointment. Dr Caroline texted me to let me know that she was on her way. The communication was fantastic. What I love the most about Dr. Caroline is that she really took the time to get to know my pet and help her feel comfortable. She also was very patient and answered any questions that I had. There was absolutely no rush and she was very empathetic and compassionate. Although I was extremely sad I felt somewhat at peace during the experience as I knew my loved one would no longer be in pain. She made a very unpleasant experience much less so by the environment that she created. She also had my other dog smell Zelda for closure which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend her services. Should I ever have to put my pet down again she will be the first one I will contact.

We had to say goodbye to our baby girl, Hermione. She was an amazing friend and so full of life. I am not ashamed to say that she saved my life. I am so thankful for Dr. Caroline for helping us through this journey.As a nurse who has helped families say goodbye to their loved ones, I was super impressed with Dr. Caroline's calm demeanor, compassion, and loving care. This was the first time my husband and I had experienced an in-home euthanasia so it was helpful when Dr. Caroline explained the process. Also, we didn't feel rushed. She gave us time to grieve with Hermione alone and allow our other dog to process the loss.The thing I am most thankful for is how Dr. Caroline reminded us about the good times. Hermione's health had been declining for a while and my husband and I had been so focused on managing her care that we forgot the good memories we had with her over the last 10 years. As we were all sitting on the blanket outside watching Hermione fall asleep and giving her all our love, Dr. Caroline asked us questions about Hermione that opened up so many happy memories. It was helpful for my husband and I to talk about the things we loved about her as we said goodbye.Another great example of Dr. Caroline's compassion was when she asked if we wanted to keep some of Hermione's hair. She brought clippers and a bottle and got a perfect collection of black and white hair.

I'm so grateful for Dr. Caroline. Our dog's cancer progressed very quickly and we had to make the call last minute to prevent further suffering. She was able to come to our home that same day after hours (for an extra fee, which was well worth it) and even texted us to tell us that she was available a little earlier than expected if we wanted her to come early. She explained everything and went at our pace and did everything with such compassion and love. She made a very difficult moment as easy as it could have been for all of us. She also sent us a very heartfelt sympathy card afterwards.

Dr. Caroline squeezed my family in for an appointment after my cat of 15 years took an abrupt and sharp decline. She had been diagnosed with cancer and declining much more gradually but all the sudden took a sharp turn. She was so empathetic to our emotions and you could tell she really understands, down to making sure some of the fur we saved had all of my kitties beautiful colors. We had a stray cat show up on our property five years ago and we took her in. In those five years she enjoyed the life of a spoiled indoor cat and adored my husband. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with cancer and when she stopped eating we knew it was time to give her the peaceful ending she deserved. Dr. Caroline carefully examined our cat to ensure we were making the right decision which I appreciated.. Our cat’s passing was very peaceful. What I appreciated the most about tiis experience is that Dr. Caroline not only treated our cat with empathy but also my husband and myself. Some mobile vets come, put your pet to sleep but forget or don’t acknowledge that the pet’s family are grieving. Dr. Caroline is not one of those vets. It’s clear that she cares about not only the pet she’s caring for but also the pet’s family. I highly recommend Dr. Caroline.

We asked Dr. Caroline to help our Tyco depart from us in the most comfortable way possible. Dr. Caroline came to our home and before doing anything discussed with us what she would be doing for Tyco and she encouraged us to love on him throughout the procedure. Tyco was over 16 years old and had a tumor in his mouth. It was getting difficult for him to eat, along with being deaf and almost totally blind, his quality of life just wasn't there. Dr. Caroline pulled out a cat treat (yes a cat treat) for Tyco and he loved it. While he was scarfing it down, she gave him a sedative to put him in a deep sleep, all the while we were petting and loving on him. When he was having the best nap ever, Dr. Caroline administered the medication to take Tyco over the "rainbow bridge" and we were able to see him over. Having the procedure at home, Tyco was not scared or upset by strange smells or a strange place and it allowed the family to say goodbye in a loving setting. While this was a very difficult decision for the family, Dr. Caroline's kindness and obvious caring for Tyco, helped us get through it. Thank you Dr. Caroline.

While I couldn't keep up with the growing vet bills advanced age brings I'm glad I was able to treat my lil old buddy to this type of service. He went to sleep under his favorite tree on a pleasant day with birds chirping all around and me loving on him one last time.
