I'd like to add more to this review when I have time and when I have the emotional capacityBut almost 6 months ago when my soul kitty Sammie passed away, Chicagoland pet cremation helped us through a process no pet owner wants to ever go through.I would like to thank Joe, for being so incredibly patient, kind, and respectful as to my wishes of what I'd like to do to remember Sammie. They were so understanding when I called a day later and asked if I could get a nose print and some fur and whiskers and that I might want to taxidermy her paw ( which I ended up not doing). They take great care and want to make sure everything is done with dignity and respect and compassion, I don't really have the words. We got a wooden urn and while there was a lot of back and forth since I wanted to use my own design that I made years prior in adobe illustrator and had to adjust it for the engraving, again they were so patient and wanted to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.I had an absolutely wonderful experience and I am beyond grateful that Sammie was sent to their services. I know they took great care of her.

Our family is beyond grateful for Chicagoland Pet Cremation. The care and attention they bestowed on our dog Lexi and extended to us as well was exceptional. At a very difficult time they made losing a pet bearable with trust and peace of mind. Forever thankful!

Very caring and understanding through the whole process and offer a lovely selection of urns and keepsakes. I was even texted a draft of the photo placement to be applied to the urn before finalizing which I felt was very considerate. Itās such a sad time when you lose your fur baby of almost 20 years so I really appreciated their kindness. Everything I received with beautifully crafted and I now have a loving memorial put together for my sweet boy. š¤

I canāt say enough great things about Joe and his team at Halo 4 Paws. About 10 years ago, we used their cremation services for our family dog. I remember Joe was so compassionate and understanding. He made us feel very comfortable with having to cremate our beloved Toby. Fast forward to this New Year's Eve (2024) my sweet boy, Maxy was having seizures more frequently and I just couldnāt let him suffer any longer. Because of the holiday, it was next to impossible in finding a vet to come to our home to help with Maxyās transition. I couldnāt stomach having to take him into the vet (I wanted him to pass peacefully at home) but it almost felt like that was my only option. By the Grace of God we found Halo4Paws info (we lost the business card and couldnāt recall the name from using them in the past) and unbeknownst to me there was an at-home-euthanasia link on their website. I called and Joe was the one who answered. I told him my situation and he took it upon himself to make calls and find a vet available that day. He was so empathetic and patient. He was extremely accommodating. He just went above and beyond to help me and my sweet boy. I had numerous requests and because of my emotional state, I had many questions that I asked over and over again, and he handled it all with such grace and patience. He was very responsive and made sure I was completely comfortable with what was happening/going to happen. Again, I can not say enough great things about him and his team. They were a God Send. šš¼

Very friendly and compassionate. I appreciate the service option they offer which allows for our furry family member to be delivered home, which relieved us of additional stress. Overall process took a week though we were quoted up to two weeks, so turnaround was quite timely. The clipped fur in the package was unexpected but very welcome. Thank you for taking care of our sweet boy during our time of grief.

The entire experience with Chicagoland Pet Cremation was cathartic. The decision to put my dog down came so suddenly and the varying choices on who would perform the procedure was overwhelming but Iām very glad that the decision I made was partnered with Chicagoland Pet Cremation to finish off the entire process. It was only a few days after my dog was sent out for cremation that I was contacted by Gigi who expressed condolences for my loss but also provided a means to celebrate him post-mortem by offering to use a bit of his ashes in a resin casing shaped in a heart. Despite my heart still being broken, I was thrilled at the idea and she provided several color options to choose from. Since she was already working on my most recent dog, I remembered that I still had ashes from two previous dogs that I stowed away due to the trauma of loss and wanted to celebrate these two as well and so I asked if she could accommodate the ashes of previous pets and she happily agreed. I just had to make a separate drop off for my previous two dogs so she could work on them and I left them in the hands of one her employees, Charlie, and he assured me that their organization was priority and there would be no mix up between the two sets of ashes that I had brought. Before I left, Charlie gave me a glimpse at the finished work of my most recent dog since Gigi had access to his ashes already and I was overcome with happiness and sadness when I saw her work. My handsome boy was returned to me in a different form, but was still a sight to behold. My drive home was filled with tears from the feelings rushing over me again. My exchanges with Gigi were exclusively by phone, but I really wanted to make it a point to thank her in person for providing a service during such a difficult and sensitive time. We agreed on a day and time for me to pick up the ashes and resin hearts. Upon meeting her, I immediately felt a welcoming and warm presence from her that you can only recognize from sincere kindness and was greeted with a hug. After a small introduction between us, she carefully laid the hearts out from each of the three dogs for me to see and I was ecstatic at how beautiful they turned out to be. I wasnāt able to meet her husband, but she shared some small anecdotes about him and Iām certain that the care and tenderness apparent in her work is mirrored in how Joe handled the cremation of my dog. Albeit slightly morbid, at the end of the pick up I jokingly mentioned that if I were to have another dog I would be coming back to them when the time comes. I thank Joe and Gigi from the bottom of my heart for their graciousness and understanding during this loss. Their service is invaluable for the healing process.

Writing a cheerful review while loosing a beloved family pet is hard. If you ever find yourself in a need of a place what takes care of your dog's last journey, Chicagoland Pet Cremation is the place. They are professional and compassionate family business. My Family and I had just recently lost our beautiful 13 year old Black and White Labrador Alexander. It was a very rough time for my family. Joe and Gigi were very very comforting during these very tough times. They were able to assist in the very best possible way that they could. The customer service is fantastic throughout any process with them.

my partner and I took in our guinea pig Clarabelle to be cremated here; her passing occurred while family babysat her as we were off on a work trip, so the loss was sudden. The CPC took great care of her remains and were timely and respectful. It was my first time having a pet cremated so I was nervous and the CPC family was incredibly kind and reassuring.Much love to you folks, Clarabelle was nearly a decade old and is finally at peace š¤

Chicagoland Pet Cremation made the process of closure and memorial a little less difficult. They offered a service where they put some ashes in a colored acrylic heart. They even repeated the process from another pet who had passed a couple years prior. We were able to add magnets and attach them to this decoration we had.

They took care of everything, and were very helpful. We were very pleased and surprised that they saved some of our Scarlett's fur for us. We had a little bit from the in home euthanasia, but we didn't get any orange fur, only white. So when we showed up and have had saved more for us, we were very happy.

I spoke with GG on the phone and she was so helpful and sweet during this rough time. I was a little surprised to have the crematory call personally. We have had 3 other pets cremated and it was not at all a personal experience that they provide here. When I picked up Ellie's ashes, Diego was super helpful and showed everything to me. It's such an emotional experience to pick up your pets ashes. Thanks everyone for such a great experience during this rough time.

This is the third time weāve used their services and each time they have been very compassionate and empathetic! They are very professional and family owned which helps insure the best service available! Through our sadness and losing our Scotties we did not have to worry about their ashes being lost or contaminated. The owners Nick and GG are very responsive and willing to go the extra mile. I would highly recommend their services to anyone going thru this difficult time with their beloved pets ššš RIP Daniella š
Margaret Mancoff
Very good service with kind and accommodating people. I would recommend to others needing cremation services for their beloved pets.
Maia Mosillo
This is a family run company that treats you like family. Losing a pet is awful but they made everything easy, were super personable, and made you feel like you counted. I highly recommend them!
Melissa M
I had a furry friend pass unexpectedly and called around to see who could help, called Chicagoland pet cremation and I was able to drop off my little friend that same day. They were kind and respectful and showed compassion for my loss. Iād use them again for future needs

The staff were professional and quick to respond to issues. The box for our dog was misspelled and they fixed it in two days and were great with communication.
Michele Bessette
We felt so broken when we lost our sweet Billy. I cannot express the comfort Gigi & Joe gave us. The caring they give to you is above & beyond. Weāre so glad we found them to take care of our sweet Billy. 6/15/2024

Thanks for your compassion and professionalism. Mia Bella is home and safely displayed on the Fireplace Mantel. Thanks for preparing her to come home safely.

The passing of our beloved dog of 16 years was heartbreaking. The staff at Chicagoland Pet Cremation was wonderful.Charlie delivered the ashes in a most beautiful urn to our home along with paw prints and hair clipping. He is so thoughtful and kind and took the time to answer all our questions.Later I called with more questions and spoke with the ownerās wife. She was so understanding and compassionate.I found out they are family owned and operated and it really shows from the gentle and loving care of the deceased pet to the compassion and empathy for the family.
Jennifer Szoldatits
I am so grateful to have chosen Chicagoland Pet Cremation when the time came for our girl. Gigi (the owner I believe) was so wonderful. She was able to accommodate a last minute appointment for me and took the time to ask about Bella and tell me how beautiful she was. It was really comforting to know that I had chosen the right place.
John Cholewa
This place is great! They are very personable and comforting! They take the time explain your options of your loved one and they have necklaces that you can put your pets ashes in. They do pick up times by appointment only. We didn't feel rushed out the door and that made us feel that they really care about you and the your loss of your beloved pet!

I have used Chicagoland Pet Cremation 3 times now and I have never been disappointed. They make sure everything they do is perfect and make sure you're aware of every step of the process before they continue. They are some of the nicest people to help you in such a difficult situation. As someone who personally works in the animal field it's great to have people who have so much care and compassion not only for the owners but for the loved ones we are losing. I will always recommend Chicagoland Pet Cremation to anyone looking for at home services.
Susan D
All of the people we dealt with during this terribly, sad time were compassionate. Joe made me feel as if we were family and took his time while guiding us through the process. I would recommend Chicagoland Pet Cremation to others and would use them again.
Adriana Beyer
Writing a cheerful review while loosing a beloved family pet is hard. If you ever find yourself in a need of a place what takes care of your dog's last journey, Chicagoland Pet Cremation is the place. They are professional and compassionate family business. We chose a private Cremation for our girl and even had a small resin heart made with her ashes.

My Family and I had just recently lost our beautiful 13 year old Black and White Labrador Alexander. It was a very rough time for my family. Joe and Gigi were very very comforting during these very tough times. They were able to assist in the very best possible way that they could. They were very helpful during the entire cremation process. They have beautiful keepsake jewelry. I highly recommend using any of the services they have to offer.

Russell Brown
They took care of everything, and were very helpful. We were very pleased and surprised that they saved some of our Scarlett's fur for us. We had a little bit from the in home euthanasia, but we didn't get any orange fur, only white. So when we showed up and have had saved more for us, we were very happy.
Adriana Rago
I recently lost my beloved Dog Buddy. I contacted Chicagoland pet cremation and they were absolutely incredible. Not only were they compassionate, they were prompt and efficient with my request.I can't thank them enough for everything they did for me .Thank you so much for everything, you helped me get through the process š. You were amazing.

This is the second time that we have relied on Chicago Pet Cremation. The staff is so compasionate in our time if greif. It means so much when we suddenly loose our four legged family members. Thank you so much for all of the care and concern that you have shared with us at this sad time. It means so much that our babies are treated with gentleness and respect.
Jonathan Bullock
I spoke with GG on the phone and she was so helpful and sweet during this rough time. I was a little surprised to have the crematory call personally. We have had 3 other pets cremated and it was not at all a personal experience that they provide here. When I picked up Ellie's ashes, Diego was super helpful and showed everything to me. It's such an emotional experience to pick up your pets ashes. Thanks everyone for such a great experience during this rough time.

Very professional and communicative. You can tell they value their customers and you can see they aim to give the best care to your beloved pet. Would highly recommend.
Danielle V
Highly recommend! Everyone you talk with is so compassionate and help you through a difficult situation. I wouldnāt go anywhere else.
Julie Shah
Highly recommend this company as the owners are extremely personable and empathetic under undoubtedly the most difficult circumstances that pet owners inevitably face. They were professional and took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns as a first time pet owner not knowing what to expect. The owners really believe in their business and in one of the most vulnerable times in people's lives I would choose this privately owned family company any day rather than the larger corporate organizations where literally your beloved pet will just a number. The grief of losing a pet(s) is hard enough and there isn't room for callous treatment in the process. If I have to do it again I would choose this company again.
Thomas Johnson
Chicagoland is family owned and ran, and weāre so amazing, Compassionate and wanted to fulfill any or all needs! Our bird passed suddenly and they made it such an easy process.

I cannot say enough good things about Joe and the crematory. I remember meeting him 4 years ago when my sisters dog Pepper passed away. I remember him telling us the story about why he created this business. His main goal was to treat animals with respect even after they have left us. We now have brought two of my sisters dogs there and now our own- Felony. This was a devastating time in our family and we are still having a difficult time. Joe was so thoughtful thru this entire process and made something so difficult a little easier. Thank you for what you do Joe šā„ļøā¤ļø. The Kuhn Family

The owners are so kind and took such good care of my cat when she passed. They offer memorial keepsakes as well that are just beautiful. When I received my baby girl's urn and memorial keepsakes, there was an extra memorial token that was included as an extra gift from the owners. I wasn't expecting it and cried - ALOT!Highly recommend!

Saying goodbye to my very first pet I had on my own was one of the hardest things Iāve ever had to do. Chicagoland pet cremation made this experience go by smooth and they were very sympathetic. There were so many options but Iām glad I chose them.

My cat passed away very recently and after reading the other reviews, I decided to go with Chicagoland Pet Creamation. I'm so glad I did. I worked with Joe and Gigi and they were both very compassionate and considerate in my time of need. They made sure I had a good support network, they made sure I would be ok. Joe walked me through how to take care of my cat before they came to pick him up. They came over in 20 minutes and were very careful with my cat the entire time.I'm glad they were able to do a custom urn and a paw impression. But they also took some fur for us to hold onto as well, which we didn't even think of doing at the time. The urn and impression came out well, the turnaround time was only a few days, and I'm really glad it came from a company that really cares about their customers and our pets.

Chicagoland Pet Cremation did an excellent job handling my baby Gigi. They allowed me to bring her in after hours and were compassionate throughout the entire experience. I got her remains along with other keepsakes back in two days. The fact that the ownerās name was Gigi was divine timing. I highly recommend them for all services, plus they were affordable.

I lost my best girl Sally yesterday. I spoke with Joe on the phone who was kind and compassionate. I brought Sally to Chicagoland Pet Cremation where I handed my girl off to Charlie who was so accommodating and sweet. Joeās wife texted me later on and said some very nice things about Sally. Theyāre a great family owned business and I know Sally is in good hands with them. Thank you for everything and I canāt wait to have my girl back with me.

I am so very grateful to Gigi and her staff for their kindness and compassion. Gigi helped make an extremely difficult time bearable . I was overwhelmed with joy when I received Crystalās urn and heart shaped rock ( with some of her ashes in it, and saw a small bag sealed with some of her fur enclosed ).I have all three on my nightstand close to me . We recently went on a family vacation and I was so happy that I had the heart rock so that I could take part of her with me . It has a very calming effect on me. It is still difficult to talk about her without crying but I am forever grateful to have part of her with me forever .God bless you Gigi and thank you from the bottom of my heart. ā¤ļø

Gigi took very good care of my dog, Haiku. The partnership with DuPage Mobile Vet is a big help. Having an 11yr old Great Dane that was unable to walk, I didn't have to take Haiku to the cold and business atmosphere of our vet office to help her cross the rainbow bridge. Both Dr Z and Chicagoland Pet Cremation helped make the situation more comfortable for our family.

Chgoland Pet Cremation was the most superbly responsive for our family. Our 16.8-year old kitty was having many more bad days than good ones. Peaceful Endings, Dr Emily, was angelic. When you have to do this last, most difficult thing for your pet, who slept on your head for 16 years, these services honor the life you shared. Chicagoland Pet Cremation is family-owned, not corporate, and respond with the compassion your pet deserves.

If you have the unfortunate event of one of your furry family members pass and wish to have them cremated I would look no further than Chicagoland Pet Cremation. I have used their services many times and every single time they have givin no less than 100% perfect caring services. It's rare to find a gem of a business such as this one that not only makes the grieving process a little easier but even afterwards you can really tell they care about their customers well-being. They handled every step with complete respect to the animal and owners and it shows. I have followed them from one location to their next because they make you feel like family. They offer GORGEOUS urns and have multiple options to make anyone smile just by looking at the urn. Joe and Charlie are such friendly people and I had the pleasure of meeting Joes wife today and she is just as amazing. They make you feel as you have known them a long time and are part of the family. Thank you all for helping me through the deaths of my little ones and thank you for taking some of the weight off my shoulders. You all make everything easier and I appreciate you!!!-Allen

Our precious boy Atreyu was diagnosed too late with ORAL SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA. We adopted him 8 years ago, a beautiful black cat who was abused and somewhat traumatized He became our baby and letting him go almost killed us. Joe was genuinely sympathetic, caring and he and the Veterinary doctor treated our boy gently, with compassion and love, not like property. Thank you all, especially for some of his fur!!

I had a really great experience with the peoptat Chicagoalnd Pet Cremation. Losing a pet is devastating, and a piece of you dies when they do. CPC gives you an opportunity to remember your pet every day in a positive way. Thanks again!

Service was prompt and compassionate. We were told that this is the only family owned pet crematorium left in Illinois, which makes it all the more important to support them. So grateful that they were there for us on a very tough day. We will be recommending their services to anyone in need.

Losing our beloved pooch was so hard, but Joe, Gigi and Charlie were so compassionate and gentle with us through this process. They were patient with us as we said our last good-bye and gave us all the time we needed.Getting your dog cremated is not a pleasant thing to have to do. But I completely and totally recommend this family business for their kindness during this difficult situation.

The kindness, compassion, and service from Chicagoland Pet Cremation was just the best. I had to say goodbye to my 9 yo rescue dog Javae suddenly due to a heart condition that had her deteriorate quickly and I am crushed. I really appreciate the detail & empathy I was given. Would highly recommend them.

My husband and I cannot express how wonderful and compassionate both Joe and Gigi were at this most sad time in our lives. I first found out about Chicagoland Pet Cremation when my almost 17 yr old kitty passed away at home around 1:00am. This was the first time I had ever experienced this and I had no idea what to do or who to call in the middle of the night. I started researching on Google and came across a review from someone stating that their pet had passed away in the middle of the night as well and she had called Chicagoland Pet Cremation and surprisingly someone had answered the phone at that time. I thought that was wonderful and decided to call myself, it was around 3:30am by then and I was sure no one would answer but hoped to be able to leave a voicemail for a call back first thing in the morning when they opened. To my surprise, the kindest man answered the phone at that time! I later learned this man was Joe, the owner of this place. To say that I was a complete mess itās truly an understatement, I was devastated and so overwhelmed, Joe was patient and so kind trying o understand me through my sobbing. I was a little embarrassed because I couldnāt control my emotions but Joe never, ever, seem rushed or impatient or bothered. He was kind, understanding and so sympathetic. I was able to take my Kitty in to get cremated a few hours later. Once I got there, I met another wonderful young man by the name of Charlie, he is Joeās nephew and he was beyond kind as well, he was so kind and understanding, just like his uncle, he allowed me to vent and he listened attentively as I went on and on telling him about my fur baby. He assured me she would be treated with respect and dignity and I would have her ashes back as soon as possible which is exactly what happened. Unfortunately, only 4 months later, just last week, I lost my 13 year old pup. My girlās health got critical overnight and I was now faced with the hardest decision there is for a pet owner, which is to perform the ultimate act of kindness and help my girl cross the rainbow bridge peacefully and free of pain. This happened on a Friday evening when all the vet offices were already closed and when no mobile vets had any availability for an emergency call. I had no idea Chicagoland Pet Cremation also helped with this. I called and once again, Joe answered the phone and helped me immediately, he had Dr Z come to my home within the hour of me calling, Joe was once again, sympathetic, understanding and above anything; KIND!!! Dr Z was wonderful as well, he was so kind to my girl, she left just as she deserved to go, peacefully and surrounded by love. Once her euthanasia was finalized, Charlie came to pick up my girlās body, he remembered me from when I had taken Kitty in 4 months ago. He was extremely patient as my significant other and I said goodbye to my girl, he even waited until we brought our other dog outside to say one lass goodbye to our girl. I was extremely touched when I realized Charlie had tears in his eyes when our dog was saying goodbye, this made me feel understood and it made me feel like he too, was a part of our family. Iām not really the type of person to leave reviews online but this establishment has made a difference in my life and has helped unimaginable losses, feel bearable. Thank you Joe and Charlie for your kindness, your patience, and for the peace of mind you gave my family and I during some of the most difficult and saddest times of our lives. We are moving away from the area but when the time comes that we need your services again (hopefully not for a very long time š we will be sure to come to you guys again, thereās really nowhere else I would ever take my babies to. Thank you so much for everything.

Joe and his wife are some of the most compassionate and kind souls we've met through this hard process. Our dog Lola had a sudden kidney failure diagnosis and had lost her battle within five days. Our Lola was taken care of by Joe and his wife until we found a proper burial for her. I wouldn't even be able to imagine if they didn't have this done for us. We are heartbroken but these kind souls helped us through this.Thank you

They were very efficient in taking care of my furbaby. I had her cremains in a day. The basic wooden urn was customized and they also left me with some fur clippings. Very professional and caring staff that contacted me.

I cannot have imagined a better experience during the most difficult time of my life. I called on a Sunday (not even realizing what day it was) and my call was immediately answered with such kindness and understanding. I requested to have more of my pets hair as I realized I didnāt have enough and I got just that after picking my dog up. I truly believe my dog was handled with the most care and forever I am truly grateful. Thank you for taking care of my best friend.

Honestly, I couldn't have been happier with their services. So kind and compassionate. Loosing a furry member of your family is never easy and they made me feel like they cared as much about my pet as I do. Picked up my rabbit and brought her back home for me. The wooden urn she was in was beautiful. A sweet carving a rabbit above her name, she was a gorgeous rabbit and now she will forever be with us. Thank you so much guys for you amazing work. I will totally send anyone I know that looses a furry loved one to you guys.

At 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning I called and to my surprise a kind and compassionate man heard the urgency in my voice. Our precious dog was failing and in pain. Joe arranged for the mobile vet to come to our house and we were able to put her sleep in her favorite place outdoors with the family surrounding her. Dr. Z cancelled his morning appointments to come . He gave us all time to say goodbye. We have a beautiful urn with her ashes and photo and a pawprint. He also saved a bit of her fur which we forgot to ask for. We had a peaceful ,amazing experience during a very difficult time. We do have another dog and will be returning for your services again when the time comes. Thank you for your compassion and professionalism.

I am very grateful to Joe and Chicagoland Pet Cremation. I woke up early Monday morning as my by beloved Boxer Jordan was in distress due to cancer. In the early hours, I looked up cremation and euthanasia services. I called Joe sounding pretty hysterical as you can well imagine. He was very calm, understanding and sympathetic. He called Dr. Z who was at my house in less than 90 minutes. Dr. Z was very comforting and understanding when it came to euthanizing Jordan. Thank you Joe for the wonderful urn and helping my family in a time of need.

Chicagoland Pet Cremation was so kind and caring when it came to taking care of our sweet Piggles. They even took it upon themselves to provide us with a clipping of her fur. The paw print they made was so perfect. We couldn't be more pleased with the work they did.

No one wants to say goodbye to a furry friend, but Chicagoland Pet Cremation makes the process less difficult. They allowed us to grieve for our fur baby and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. I hope no one has to say goodbye to their fur baby, but when the time comes use this family owned company, they will grieve alongside you.

We had a little black cat that was around 20 years old named Jinxy. While she had been slowing down over the last few years it wasn't till a couple of weeks ago that she started a rapid decline. We kept her comfortable and she passed quietly last Friday, 4/1/2022. I called and spoke with Joe, you could just hear the kindness in his voice. We arranged for a pick up and Joe came out personally. He said we should be able to have her back the same day as we do live close by and sure enough, Jinxy was back home that night in a beautiful case with her name engraved and we opted for the optional paw print too. The person that delivered her back was also very kind. We really appreciated the compassion that was shown with Chicagoland Pet Cremation and would strongly advise their services should you need it. Thank you to Joe and family for helping to make a tough time a great experience for our beloved Jinxy.

Our 18 year old cat passed away at 1 in the morning. We had never had an animal pass away at home before so we weren't really sure where to go. We called Chicagoland Pet Cremation that morning. Joe answered the phone and was extremely apologetic and sympathetic. We were able to drop our cat off that morning, which was on a Thursday. We picked up his ashes today (Monday). Joe even went as far as offering us the option of picking him up after hours if we needed. They make a box for their ashes with their name on it and a certificate. Dealing with an animals death is hard enough, but this company has very high standards and I know my animal was treated with respect while in their care. Joe and his team are amazing.

Its a review thats been way over due. 2 years ago my Dog Snoopy was diagnosed with Lymphoma Stage 4 Cancer was given days/weeks to live. He lasted a month and eventually passed away. When I received the news of my dogs diagnosis I have been researching and preparing myself for the worst. I came across Chicagoland Pet Cremation, upon speaking to Joe, the owner, I told him my situation, he gave me plenty of advice and he listened to me and my situation. He rest assured that when the time comes, my beloved dog will be in good hands. I am so glad I came across his business page. The pricing is reasonable. He walked us through the whole process and I learned about the story behind him opening up his business. Its a long story but you should check it out on their business website. Loosing a pet is like loosing a bestfriend/family, its a great feeling of pain and sadness. Glad Joe and his team were there to help. Sadly, my other dog was diagnosed with heart problem and I knew its that time again that I have to make that difficult call. Like then, he made sure that we were accommodated. Very compassionate, flexible and professional. I highly recommend Chicagoland Pet Cremation. Joe and John, from my family and I, we sincerely thank you for treating our beloved pet with dignity, compassion and respect.

It's taken nearly a month to write a review for Chicagoland Pet Cremation, so great was my grief. I lost my beloved West Highland White Terrier--her name was Abby--on August 9, 2017, after an enduring illness. Realizing it was just a matter of time before she'd return home to the Spirit realm, I searched for places to accommodate me prior to Abby taking her last breath. I came across this absolutely WONDERFUL establishment after performing a Google search.Grief stricken and not knowing what to expect, I called the night my fur baby passed away. I spoke with Joe initially, and his compassion over my personal lost was both immediate and genuine in tone. After a brief exchange, we arranged to meet. His lovely wife, who had an appointment she needed to keep in my area, came out instead to receive me and Abby's remains. She could not have been kinder, and her compassion made a difficult time much easier to cope with. I left that night feeling I'd made a sound and wise choice in selecting this business to handle the final arrangements for my canine daughter.I returned the following Friday to satisfy my debt--a small discrepancy in the billing where I actually owed a few more dollars than I'd paid initially. It was then that I met Joe firsthand. My impressions of his character and compassion were completely accurate--the level of care and warmth I felt from this man were of the highest caliber. If you think this is hyperbole, think again. Many people can put a smile on things when they stand to benefit financially from your patronage. Joe and his wife (I regret terribly that I cannot recall her name, and hope, should she read this, that she'll forgive me) are so much more than this, however. I never felt they were hopelessly transparent and mired in 'business as usual' muck. These are two of the finest human beings you could ever encounter, performing a service with all of the professionalism, compassion and love any of us could ever hope for during the transition of a beloved pet. I stand forever grateful. As I type this, my heart swells and tears anew have formed in my eyes. I miss Abby tremendously. She was my world in so many ways; she brought so much joy to my life. So written, we each know that death is inevitable...and, when your pet has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I hope you'll consider this establishment. They are truly worthy of your patronage, and I know beyond all doubt that you'll be most satisfied with their care. Joe and his wife are truly 'Angels among us', here to answer the call when needed.

Six months after losing my beloved 12 year old Corgi, we lost our sweet Corgi pup. We were devastated. Chicagoland Pet Cremation took such great care of us. I'm not often moved to write online reviews, but the service we received from Joe at Chicagoland Pet Cremation was absolutely exceptional. One of our cats died unexpectedly when we were away for the weekend. We returned on Sunday afternoon to find her remains and were extremely shaken up. Joe was professional and compassionate throughout our first call, explaining his fee structure clearly and offering advice on how to preserve our cat's remains if we chose to wait until Monday for pickup. He never tried to up-sell or pressure us in any way. When we eventually decided to pay extra for a Sunday pickup, he was there within 90 minutes. He honored our wish to keep our cat wrapped in her favorite towel and returned her ashes the next day. Throughout, he was courteous and caring, always asking after the whole family. Losing a pet is a miserable experience. What a relief to know someone like Joe is out there to help with one of the most difficult parts of the grieving process.

During such a difficult time, Joe is incredibly kind and gracious! We decided to drop off our beloved Moonchi because our whole family wanted to be there to say our final goodbyes. Joe was understanding and supportive. We all felt at ease knowing he was going to take great care of our Moonchi. And knowing that we would be able to have Moonchiās ashes that same evening was extremely comforting. The box was beautiful and we even bought an additional 2 small urns so that everyone could have a little piece of him, which is a nice touch. I will always come back here whenever his services are needed and I will always recommend this place to anyone in need during the difficult time of a beloved pet loss.

I had to unexpectedly let my sweet 13 year old Buddah go last week. After losing my mom in June, this was the straw that broke the camels back. I was pretty much a hot mess..Joe and his staff were the most caring, compassionate respectful persons to deal with after hours of crying And breaking down. They treated Boo with respect and were sincere when they offered condolences. Knowing that Boo was being taken care of was a weight off my shoulders because letting him go was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. Buddah came home today and has a place of honor in my home. I am eternally grateful for the treatment we received and will never forget the kindness that was shown to me. If you're reading this guys, thank you so so much.

Chicagoland Pet Cremation was amazing. My Peluche passed away on Easter. Frickin Easter Sunday of all times. I was devastated at the thought of no places being opened on a holiday evening and having to hold on to his body another day. Iām so thankful they answered and agreed to meet us! It definitely brought me a little peace knowing he would at least be taken care of in the next few days. The little box they placed the ashes in is very nice and classic. It was engraved with his name on it and a lock of hair is included.Thank you so much for being there during a hectic time.

I chose Chicagoland Pet Cremation based on the positive reviews online. When our beloved dog Molly passed away on a Friday while visiting family from Iowa, we had to rush to find a crematory nearby. We called CPC and we were able to drop her off that afternoon. Overall a good experience(if you could have such a thing with this) but only 3 stars because I was told she would be cremated Monday and then called later that day when she is ready to be picked up. I had not heard anything Monday and then Tuesday nothing either so I sent an email, and was told she would be cremated Wednesday and ready that afternoon. Not given a reason for the delay but was a little disappointed that she waited 5 days to be cremated. Because we are out of town we had family pick her up, and was told on the phone that she needed to be picked up by 3pm as they would be leaving for the day, despite business hours showing open until 5. Communication could have been better there, but thanks for being there in an unfortunate time of need.

My momās beloved dog/family member Princeās health was deteriorating and I had to make the arrangements to have him euthanized and cremated. We considered having our veterinarian handle everything but the thought of having to move Prince around and bring him out in the cold weather, put him in the car, and be limited to only 2 people with him in the vetās office during covid, and to have Prince lay on the cold examination table...we couldnāt do that to Prince. We made the most humane and best decision for Prince by choosing to have a vet come to our home. It was of upmost importance to us that Prince is comfortable. I did a lot of research and after reading the wonderful reviews about Joe and Chicagoland Pet Cremation in Bloomingdale I decided to call him. He was kind, calm, sympathetic, and gave me all the information I needed. I decided to go with the option for a vet to come to our home the next day to do the sedation, euthanization and the transport of Prince to the Chicagoland Pet Cremation for private cremation with a personalized wooden urn. My mom was worried that after euthanization that the vet would be in a rush to take Prince and we wouldnāt fully get to say final goodbye and Joe said the vet would give us as much time as we need. Before I got off the phone with Joe he told me I can call him anytime if I have any other questions. He offered his sincere condolences and reassured me that Prince would be taken care of. Later that evening Princeās condition took a fast downward spiral. He had 9 very aggressive seizures from 11:45 pm - 7 am. It was the worst night of our lives. Prince did not make it to 11am (our appointment for the vet to come over to euthanize). What are we supposed to do now? His body is stiff, his mouth is wide open heās not breathing, but his body is STILL warm. Is he dead? What do we do with the dead body? Will it smell? Do we wrap it up with blanket or plastic bag? Do we tape it up? Will blood or excrements come out? So many questions and this was our first pet death. I called Joe at 7:05am and told him Prince passed away. He apologized for our loss. He answered all my questions and he cancelled the vet appointment to come out. He cancelled his morning plans and drove all the way from the city to meet us at Chicagoland Pet Cremation. He offered us a refund for the vet portion of the package we paid for (that was very kind of him to do that) . My mom asked if she could be present for the cremation and Joe said she is welcome to be there for it but told her what to expect. I told my mom that it would be a horrific last image of Prince to see and remember. That it would not be the last image she would want to remember of her beloved Prince. She agreed, we said goodbye to Prince once last time and Joe promised us that he would take great care of Prince. I donāt know how things would of been if we went with another company or if we would of had it done at the vet office BUT what I do know is Joe made this a lot less painful for us and for that we are grateful. We have 2 dogs left in our family and you better believe that when that horrible time comes when they pass away, our family will be calling Joe from Chicagoland Pet Cremation.

I have had 3 of my fur babies cremated here. Never a worry in the world with them.(With my Sheba they actually gave me a little snip of her fur. My son cherishes that. Losing his dog on his 18th birthday wasn't easy, but we were able to get her in right away.)

Our wooden urns could not be more beautiful. Such a loving tribute to two amazing souls! They truly treat your pet aka family memeber with love and care. Highly recommend them!
