Stemm-Lawson-Peterson is the BEST Funeral Home period. Donna and her staff are the greatest. They took care of my mother's passing and her inurnment. The urn turned out beautiful and today, on my Mother's Birthday, September 18, 2024, my brother and I laid her to rest.In fact, I liked Stemm-Lawson-Peterson so much I am prearranging my passing with them and my inurnment at Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Stem-Lawson was great through the entire process. They lead us through all the decisions we had to make with no pressure and were always cognizant of our grief. The facilities were perfect and the video of the service and the job they did with photos were top notch. Day of the service was great as well. I can’t recommend them enough.

I have worked with Stemm Lawson Peterson Staff since 1907 with issues of being out of state for long periods of time. We prearranged and finalized the funerals in 2014. The staff is very knowledgeable and compassionate. No question or request is too difficult to solve. There service is absolutely outstanding and dedicated to the care of the family.

My mother passed away at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart and I live in Canada. Steve Peterson was compassionate, understanding and very helpful in making funeral arrangements for my beloved mother. He helped pick out a beautiful casket, assisted with vault arrangements, flowers as well as transporting her in a dignified manner to her final resting place in Grand Rapids, Michigan.The funeral home is beautiful and well maintained.
