Tom Hickey and the entire staff were extremely helpful and gracious with our entire family. They made us feel so welcome and understood the sadness we were feeling. I would also like to give a special thanks to Betsy. She knew my Dad and was so kind when she spoke about him. Tom made this difficult process seamless. Jacob and Sequoia professionally answered every question during our initial meeting, and Jacob's prompt email and/or phone responses to followup concerns that came up afterward, set my mind at ease that every detail of my father's service and subsequent internment would be handled in a timely manner.I especially appreciated their ability to discern my lighthearted approach to the decision-making process, and their willingness to laugh at my futile attempts at funeral home humor while at the same time conducting important business in a respectful and dignified manner.I would gladly recommend Palmer to others.

Palmer Funeral Home did an excellent job from the time they were called that our Mom had passed away to the day after the funeral. Everyone we dealt with was very caring and professional during this very difficult time. Thank you so much!

KR Palmer took good care of us after the surprise passing of our beloved father. Even though my parents had pre-planned and pre-paid for their funerals, we still had to make some decisions, and we were given the utmost attention that allowed us to give dad an honorable sendoff. Special thanks to them for making all the special military arrangements, too.

Dad passed recently. Unfortunately his wife chose not to communicate ANY info on my father’s health beforehand, nor his death. Found out he passed only when a chaplain called me from hospital. Thankfully, I was able to go see my dad at Hickey privately. Tracey the director made sure that happened! ❤️ When I called Hickey later to find out what time the grave site service was going to be the next day, the woman I spoke with said, “you’ll have to call “his wife””. I mentioned that’s not possible due to her behavior. She only said “we don’t get involved in family matters”. I told her I was his son from Chicago and I just want the time they are burying my father. Simple question. By choosing not to give me the simple information, she was proving to already be involved in personal family matters.You failed at doing your job, console the family and help them get through their loss. Your consideration for my mourning the death of my father wasn’t present and you lacked professionalism and any sort of care and concern for me, which both shocked and disappointed me tremendously! The rest of my family couldn’t believe it either!I reached out to the cemetery and they gave me the time of my father’s service, WITHOUT getting in the middle of any family matters.I’m sure this is an isolated incident, but it’s one we won’t forget.

The establishment is beautiful, and a peaceful place to serve memory of our loved ones, sometimes the ulegy is word for word from the obituary. Readings from the Bible tends to lose people who are not active Christ followers and do not regularly read from the Bible.I would suggest more intricate details on each individual in which you are celebrating.As a Christ follower I,feel as if the goal of the pastors is to preach a sermon not to show tribute to the famil member.Showing the light of the Lord in the daily acts of a wonderful person would have been a great way to honor peoples loved ones.

This is my 3rd funeral since 2018 , my experience with Palmer has been very easy, no stress , comfortable and the staff is so nice. I would recommend highly.
