I'm an animal lover-- especially to cats. I was always the child, that saved/took in, our towns strays (and brought them home). My father used to despise cats. I just kept bringing them home.... 🤣My parents would get mad temporarily & then fall in love with the animals I took home.Over the years, we've had the pleasure of these animals choosing us, as their owners. We fell in love, with every one of them.Teddy, Buddy, Baby, Squeaky, & Sophie our 🐕, and many more.July 7th, 2024: we had to lay Squeaky to rest. We had Teddy and Baby the longest, but Squeaky was close (10-12 years?).I remember the first time I saw Squeaky; she had been absued by her former owners. I was livid. I did what I do best-- I took her. She saved us but most of all, she saved my father. Squeaky slept on my dad, every night. (She got her name due the fact she sounded like a Squeaky toy, when she meowed). She was the family cat, but as we all know, our fur babies choose their owners. Her and my father were "one".Anyway, sorry for the novel. This hasn't been easy, but Pet Traditions is amazing. They truly are compassionate people. I reached out and I'm so glad I did. My father has dementia and losing his kitty, has been very hard on him. I told Pet Traditions, I was willing to go to any length to give my father some relief/our kitty a proper farewell. They called me back and we set something up for Squeaky. I cannot thank you all enough or even find the words, to express how generous, caring, and amazing these people are. They are beyond exceptional people and it shows, in their actions, and wording.Thank you, to everyone whom works here. And for loving our Squeaky, as much as we have. ❤️

So far we have taken two pets here, they were extremely patient with us. One of our pets died just before thanksgiving and they gave us ample time to get everything together for her. When you call on the phone or show up in person they are always very helpful and don't mind answering any questions. If you have to come to this business I am sorry, but I don't think there is a better place to go. They will give your pet love and compassion.

Very kind staff. Moderately painless process. The guy that helped me and my family straight up lied to us about the paw/nose print necklaces, so I can't help but wonder if he was lying about the care they take to ensure we got the correct ashes back.Lovely place otherwise.

We loss our Georgia on July 25, and though sudden, it was completely heartbreaking to realizing instantly we were saying goodbye to our 12 year fur baby. My husband and I, with our eldest kiddo had those precious last moments with her. We were referred to Pet Traditions by the clinic we took Georgia to.The absolute kindness and generosity felt was enormously overwhelming to each member of our family. Within hours, we received a phone call saying Georgia was in safe hands, and they (Pet Traditions) would be here when we were ready. "Take all the time you need". Knowing she was being handled in the most humane way, with such respect, and with people who clearly have a love for animals, meant the world to us.Throughout the process, our 3 kids kept asking when Georgia would be coming home and we said around the 15th as was told to us by staff. Included in our request was a snipping of her bottle brush tail which was one of the things I noticed about her 12 years ago as a kitten. I'm glad they kept a small piece of kittenhood to remember. It's still hard to not see her laying on the bed falling asleep curled up so neither of us can stretch out, the windowsill watching the birds or other animals, the bottom of the stairs as we walk in everyday from work, laying across my husband's chest immediately when he sits down for scratches, or even batting at the kids were tickling her. I caught myself every time telling the kids to close the front door so Georgia doesn't get out and get hurt. It's been rough but we are getting better. We bought a modestly price package, the silver package, which covered all the extras we had wanted of her. These included the clay paw print, clippings, an enhanced wood urn, name tag, and the print stand.
