I'm an animal lover-- especially to cats. I was always the child, that saved/took in, our towns strays (and brought them home). My father used to despise cats. I just kept bringing them home.... 🤣My parents would get mad temporarily & then fall in love with the animals I took home.Over the years, we've had the pleasure of these animals choosing us, as their owners. We fell in love, with every one of them.Teddy, Buddy, Baby, Squeaky, & Sophie our 🐕, and many more.July 7th, 2024: we had to lay Squeaky to rest. We had Teddy and Baby the longest, but Squeaky was close (10-12 years?).I remember the first time I saw Squeaky; she had been absued by her former owners. I was livid. I did what I do best-- I took her. She saved us but most of all, she saved my father. Squeaky slept on my dad, every night. (She got her name due the fact she sounded like a Squeaky toy, when she meowed). She was the family cat, but as we all know, our fur babies choose their owners. Her and my father were "one".Anyway, sorry for the novel. This hasn't been easy, but Pet Traditions is amazing. They truly are compassionate people. I reached out and I'm so glad I did. My father has dementia and losing his kitty, has been very hard on him. I told Pet Traditions, I was willing to go to any length to give my father some relief/our kitty a proper farewell. They called me back and we set something up for Squeaky. I cannot thank you all enough or even find the words, to express how generous, caring, and amazing these people are. They are beyond exceptional people and it shows, in their actions, and wording.Thank you, to everyone whom works here. And for loving our Squeaky, as much as we have. ❤️

So far we have taken two pets here, they were extremely patient with us. One of our pets died just before thanksgiving and they gave us ample time to get everything together for her. When you call on the phone or show up in person they are always very helpful and don't mind answering any questions. If you have to come to this business I am sorry, but I don't think there is a better place to go. They will give your pet love and compassion.

Very kind staff. Moderately painless process. The guy that helped me and my family straight up lied to us about the paw/nose print necklaces, so I can't help but wonder if he was lying about the care they take to ensure we got the correct ashes back.Lovely place otherwise.

We loss our Georgia on July 25, and though sudden, it was completely heartbreaking to realizing instantly we were saying goodbye to our 12 year fur baby. My husband and I, with our eldest kiddo had those precious last moments with her. We were referred to Pet Traditions by the clinic we took Georgia to.The absolute kindness and generosity felt was enormously overwhelming to each member of our family. Within hours, we received a phone call saying Georgia was in safe hands, and they (Pet Traditions) would be here when we were ready. "Take all the time you need". Knowing she was being handled in the most humane way, with such respect, and with people who clearly have a love for animals, meant the world to us.Throughout the process, our 3 kids kept asking when Georgia would be coming home and we said around the 15th as was told to us by staff. Included in our request was a snipping of her bottle brush tail which was one of the things I noticed about her 12 years ago as a kitten. I'm glad they kept a small piece of kittenhood to remember. It's still hard to not see her laying on the bed falling asleep curled up so neither of us can stretch out, the windowsill watching the birds or other animals, the bottom of the stairs as we walk in everyday from work, laying across my husband's chest immediately when he sits down for scratches, or even batting at the kids were tickling her. I caught myself every time telling the kids to close the front door so Georgia doesn't get out and get hurt. It's been rough but we are getting better. We bought a modestly price package, the silver package, which covered all the extras we had wanted of her. These included the clay paw print, clippings, an enhanced wood urn, name tag, and the print stand.

My wife and I lost our dog, Romeo, last March. It was so hard for all of us. We miss him so much. This was the first pet we had to say goodbye to and it still hurts today. Pet Traditions did such a great job of supporting us during our time of need. They were so professional and reassuring that our dear Romeo would be treated with the upmost respect and care. It really meant and still means so much to us that they understood that our pet was family and the pain we were experiencing with our loss. Although it was a hard time, looking back on it, Pet Traditions made it just a little bit easier. It's nice to have some positive from the process and I cannot overstate my gratitude for their service to us.

I can’t say enough good things about Pet Traditions Memorial Center. We recently lost our cat of 15 years to cancer and were devastated, Pet Traditions made a truly horrible time easier by their amazing compassion. We now have our boy home in a beautiful cedar urn. They were great about communicating the process and progress/updates/pick up time during our time of need. Thank you for the amazing service and for caring so much, you are the very best.

We have went to Pet Traditions for two of my cats. Pet Traditions are so kind and helpful. They are the absolute best. Pet Traditions even came to my home to pick up my buddy, Mr. Thomas. I have three cats and will go to Pet Traditions again when the time comes.

When we lost our Gracie in the evening, my daughter found this company on the internet. They were amazing from start to finish. They let us take our time to say our good byes and went over everything in detail with us. They have such BIG hearts! When we are at our worst they are here for us and our loving animals. I highly recommend Pet Traditions.

Its taken me months to be able to write this. We lost our little pitty in February, and we took her here. She was our world. The man who greeted us and took care of our baby was an angel. We could feel his compassion and love for our girl. I will forever be grateful for that. The love of animals had shown thru him and we were able to trust him with her. Thank you for that 😭❤️🩹

Considering the reason, this place gave me the most beautiful, absolutely wonderful experience. I was lost on what to do after losing my girl Caprice. Her & I had been through everything in the last 15 years, so much she helped me with, she was always right there when me. Pet Traditions was highly recommended. I could feel the care & love immediately stepping in. They took such good care of my girl Caprice & it was a beautiful presentation as well. Top notch all the way. Words cannot explain, it touched my heart.

My family and I are glad there is a place such as this in the area. They are understanding, compassionate, and easy to work with. They came to our house to pick her up, and put her in a comfortable casket for transport back to the facility. It even had a pillow. They treated her and us well. She was returned in a high quality container appropriate for the situation. It is always unfortunate when their services are needed but they are highly appreciated when they are.

The staff here is beyond amazing. When our Sebastian passed away just before midnight on a Saturday, we had no idea what to do. The staff picked him up from the emergency vet the next day and gave us the kindest call to let us know. They were so patient with us and gentle. The process was easy and they did an amazing job capturing Sebastian's paw print. These people are truly heroes and I can't thank them enough.

My experience with this business was nothing short of excellence. They were so nice, professional, and prompt in every aspect. When I went to pick up my dog Tank's ashes, I was met with a warm, friendly greeting--not to mention it is a beautiful room filled with gorgeous memoirs of all types on display. Prices are also very reasonable.

Pet Traditions did such a beautiful job memorializing my dog. I will forever be grateful for the compassion they showed during this really hard time. I loved that they offer 24/7 pet grief support.

I am very upset. When I first used pet traditions for my first German shepherd that passed, they were brilliant. The whole process was smooth and everything turned out great. So it wasn’t even a question that I’d use them for my second German shepherds aftercare. I had her euthanized at UPC, they did purple watercolor pawprints there for me and then I wanted the clay pawprints done at pet traditions. I ordered 3. One for me, one for my dad, and one for my sister.I know the girl who did her paw prints at upc. She painted the front two paws.So tell me why when I got my clay pawprints there was purple paint on them. I got told that they couldn’t remove the paint without affecting the quality of the mold. “we tried to wash her feet off as best as we could” but when I asked if all 4 of her paws were painted, it was crickets.I’m not sure who would do the clay pawprints, get purple paint on the mold and then think “ya, that’s good”And it’s not even like they can make it right and redo them because my dog is cremated in a box now.I didn’t even get offered a refund for the pawprints.I know it may seem like a small detail to some. But this dog meant the world to me, and it felt like such a careless, thoughtless mistake that it literally made me bawl my eyes out. And it’s already hard enough dealing with the grief & loss of my best friend.Oh and might I add, I got the picture frame/clay pawprint combo and they used the pawprints with the MOST purple paint in the frame. And I Can’t even switch it out because they got glued it to the cardboard.Guess I won’t be using this company again.

As we all know, the loss of our beloved pet is devestating, as is was for me😥 Pet Traditions helped me through this agonizing loss by letting me cry, grieve and hurt. They embraced my hurting soul and stepped me through the process of healing. Grieving is a process and it takes time to get our minds and heart back on track. They helped me pick out the final resting place for my sweet boy.... I am healing and Remi is right here beside me in his beautiful Urn and his sweet picture and little paw print. Still with me and still loved❤

5 stars is not nearly enough to give the caring people at Pet Traditions. They made coming to them in some of the saddest moments of mine and my families lives easier. It was the best customer service with an unmatched sense of compassion for our loss. My family has gone to them in multiple instances throughout the years and never experienced anything less than best. There is truly no better place to take your fur family once they've crossed the rainbow bridge.

After a long illness, I lost my beloved girl, Rocki Dog. Pet Traditions picked her up from the veterinary clinic, Wichita Pet Wellness. When I called them later to make sure they had the information they needed, I'll never forget, Brian telling me not to worry about her.. she was on a soft bed , pillow under her head, and a blanket. Just as she was the next day when I did a final viewing with my girl. There was no high pressure sales, but they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I wasn't up to making a lot of decisions so Brian made sure to tell me how they could accommodate me on urns, jewelry, plaques, etc down the road.I made arrangements on a Friday and the following Wednesday they called that she was ready to come back home. They're special people at Pet Traditions and I'm so glad I made that choice.

We lost our Zowie this week, she has been in our hearts for 14 years, and we're so overwhelmed with the kind, compassionate and thoughtful way Pet Traditions handled taking care of her. The communication from the staff made us feel a sense of calm knowing they were taking care of our sweet girl. Thank you so much for making such a difficult moment and filling it with compassion and understanding.

This place was wonderful. When our beloved dog passed at home we called them. They were compassionate and came in after hours so we could bring him in. When we arrived we were not rushed to say goodbye. We were also not pressured to pick a package right away. They emailed us the options and gave us some time to think it over. Losing a pet is never easy but they made it as easy of a process as they possibly could. I highly recommend!

We lost our sweet boy unexpectedly. Pet Traditions picked him up from the vet and called me that night to let me know that he was safe and in good hands. They also gave me very detailed information about what I would be receiving with each package. I knew he was in good hands and that made this process so much easier. They called me as soon as he was ready to come home. Everyone was so compassionate and caring during this hard time.

We suddenly lost our sweet Zoey girl on July 30th and Pet Traditions were so incredibly caring and compassionate allowing us to get our girl properly taken care of and brought back home. They handled everything with respect and no hassle or rushing us while we are grieving. I can not state my thank you enough so how you all have made this difficult just a tiny bit easier.

My Husband and I used Pet Traditions when we lost my brothers boxer that we had taken into our pack after his passing. My animals always come to momma when they don't feel good...well boys run to momma when they don't feel good and that's the same thing our boys always did...Hank came to momma and for some reason I knew it was serious, I rushed him to the vet and we lost him 2 days later. There was nothing the vet could do the tumor was that rapid in growth, it had been growing but when it started bleeding that was it. We had to say our goodbyes. Pet Traditions was so nice and helpful, walked me through everything, very comforting...I was a mess our other boxer at this point was already sick himself me and him had beat his cancer 3 times in all the 13yrs we were together. A lot of sleepless nights and going out every 30 minutes to use the bathroom, but by God if he was going to be strong enough to fight his way out of what he was fighting his way out of, I sure as Hell wasn't dropping the ball on him!! We were in this FIGHT TOGETHER!! And we did it!! Not once, not twice, but 3 times. But now 13 yrs old and I knew it was time...I just wasn't expecting Hank to go and then 3 months later Normal let momma know I'm ready but Pet Traditions was there again for us and again letting me fall apart and boy did I fall apart!!! Normal was my Wedding present, someone had stolen my 2yr anniversary present which was his full blooded brother yes boxer, my Jackie (Jack) well all I can say is that Pet Traditions is very caring, compassionate, people. They will take care of your fur baby family members with great love and compassion. I wouldn't go anywhere else I trust these people emensily with my heart and my family members. Thank you so much Pet Traditions for coming to our time of need once again for our beautiful baby Abbie we know you will take good care of her we live you Abbie, Normal, Jack, and Hank...❤️❤️❤️❤️

My first time using Pet Traditions and I was touched by how compassionate and kind they were. I had to make an extremely heartbreaking decision letting go of my very senior kitty, Missy. The gentleman I worked with on the phone was very sweet. I would definitely go through them again and I would recommend them to anyone I know who loses a fur baby.

This is my first experience with a pet loss center and I am more than pleased. The staff here is so caring, compassionate and supportive. Even with covid restrictions they made me feel like they were going above and beyond to make this process as easy as possible. No sales pressure and they accommodated all of my requests to add onto my package. Everything came out beautifully. They also offer emotional support if you need it. I will recommend Pet Traditions to anyone looking for this type of service and will definitely use them in the future.

The amount of care, sympathy, professionalism, and service that pet traditions gave us while our family is mourning the lost of our puppy Kylo was absolutely unmatched. Britney and every single staff member we spoke to made the process easy, but also amazing especially going through a tough lost. From the nice gestures, helping with every question and never ignoring a phone call, thank you. As well as the free pet lost support, and the nicest cards that was sent to us that made us shed a tear. I just know our puppy is grateful that we chose you guys, the cards are next to his urn. 10/10 recommend. It’s something you wish you never have to do or call, but if I ever had to do it again, it would be with pet traditions. From the Dao-Sathngam family.

They cremated my cat Dusty back in 2016 and they did a good job handled with care

They're extremely expensive. They even try to charge you for taking a clipping of your dog's hair. Really? Then all the extras like the light stand for the glass pieces can be found on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. The quality of the clay paw print isn't that great. They showed me an example that was smooth and perfect and promised they would trim my dog's nails beforehand. Well of course they didn't and there's weird gravel stuck to it and ugly deep nail marks with a crack by one of the nails. It looked nothing like the quality of the example they showed me. It really sucks to suffer the loss of a pet then receive less than quality items that you payed good money for to remember your fur baby. Do better.

The staff at Pet Traditions are so compassionate. The staff attended to our needs and asked us appropriate questions after the loss of our loving pet. They didn't rush us but left us with one of the most lifelong endearing impressions after the loss of our Labrador Graham.Lon and Elaine R.

Brian helped us along the process after my house caught fire and I lost my dog, he was kind and compassionate throughout the whole process. He comforted us on our most hectic days, and that is something that most companies don't do nowadays. He helped us out of the kindness in his heart and it will always be remembered

Penny is a good friend I met while working in the funeral industry, so I was thrilled and excited when she decided to open Pet Angel/Pet Traditions. The need for this service is great in this area as is evident in the number of people they serve. I had them handle arrangements for my little dog of 14 years and they did an amazing job. I had come back for an extended visit from WA when my dog became gravely Ill, knowing that I wanted my Veterinarian daughter to handle her final days, and Pet Angel to handle her final disposition. I was able to take my grandchildren for a final viewing of her and that was special and good for them. She loved her grandbabies, and they loved her!

Pet Traditions is absolutely nothing short of amazing. From our first interaction with Kira who came out to our home at 8:00pm on a Sunday to our interactions with Jodi at the store the next day. These ladies made losing our sweet Couper a little easier. Very professional yet warm and loving at the same time. My husband and I are both nurses and have dealt with a lot of death and mortuaries. I would put pet traditions at the very top of my list. Thank you all so much for everything. You hold a very special place in our hearts.

We lost our fur baby pretty suddenly at home, and they were very helpful in assisting us with the next steps. They cremate pets separately, so you aren’t getting part of your pet’s ashes and part of another pet. They allowed us to have our dog cremated with the blankets he passed laying in, and a picture/poem our daughter made for him. They truly care about your pet and the pain you’re feeling at that time.
Debra Barnett
They picked my baby girl, Princess , up from my vet and took great care of our broken hearts. I got the package with her paw print, a beautiful urn, the hair clippings and our memorial rock♥️ First time I’ve had a cremation done and the showroom is awesome! They made the grieving a bit easier by being so helpful showing us all the options. Thank you all so very much🐾🐾🖤🖤

A couple weeks ago I had to have my 16 yr old male(Fido) black cat laid to rest. It was a very difficult for me because I had him since birth and he had been there with me thru some dark times and was always a happy and healthy daddy's boy. The staff, especially Brian were very sincere and consoling. A huge THANK You to Brian and the whole staff at Pet Tradition!

My 18 yo cat, Balkie, passed away while I was visiting my Mom here in Wichita. I chose Pet Traditions because of the positive reviews on Google & was very pleased with that decision. The staff was kind & thoughtful. They helped me pick out a package that fit my needs, & treated Balkie & I with care. Their communication was excellent throughout the process & they exceeded my expectations. Balkie is now resting in his beautiful urn, & I have many adorable keepsakes to honor him. Thank you Pet Traditions for taking some of the stress out of a sad time & for providing a professional’s experience.

They did an amazing job with our fur baby, loosing a loved pet is never something anyone wants to go through. The only one thing that could have been better would have been some more direction on what urns we can and can’t use, this was our first experience and we really didn’t have a clue what we were doing. The best thing was we really appreciated them letting us say goodbye one last time.

I am not one to go out of my way to review any business....but this is more than that. You entrust your dearest family members (fur babies)to complete strangers and they instantly put you at ease. By a stroke of fate or divine intervention they were recommended to me by a previous client and when I arrived I discovered 2 of my oldest friend worked there and would be Taking care of my baby boy. I immediately knew my Jr was being handled as though he was their family. The detail and attention paid to the choices made to memorialize him were beautiful. I trusted then....if the time comes please check them out. There are no words. Thank you

In such a horrible situation they were amazing. They helped me choose my wishes for Keyser without trying to upsell or push anything I was uncomfortable with. The effort, care, and handling of the whole ordeal was touching. Genuinely. They went above and beyond - including looking up how to properly spell my dog's name. I couldn't have asked for more in such a difficult time. It's clear that they legitimately care about their work and the pets/families they interact with.

My rescue Kai (ferret)just passed away of cancer and I wanted to get him cremated but other places wanted to charge a arm and leg, I called Pet traditions and they we're super friendly and understanding and picked him up/dropped him off at his vet. They did amazing job, Called me every step of the way and Even Got his name plate just how I wanted it. I'll definitely being using them for when my other rescue babies decide it's their time.

Jamie Grant

Peggy Taylor - Honer

Reva Kassik

I have been putting off writing a thank you, knowing how painful it would be and hoping time would help. well here we are in June and I cannot wait longer. The team here in Wichita are the best ever. I lost my beloved Noah in February. We had just moved to this area from Houston in December. The loss of Noah was sudden and unexpected. I had no time to establish trust in vets etc. Turning my baby over to a complete stranger compounded my grief. However, this team was the best part of a horrible nightmare. They responded right away, they offered comfort to me but most importantly treated my child with such tender caring hands and hearts. They allowed me to visit along with Noah's brother Joshua. They had Noah looking so beautiful and peaceful when I saw him. They understood my need to have Joshua say goodbye. I cannot say enough kind words to express my gratitude. I am so grateful for your presence, support and care of my baby. Thank you, Angie Cagle

I purchased cremation ahead of time as I knew the end was near for our pet. I purchased in March during covid and before purchasing I called more than once and repeatedly asked if they were 24 hr services and that they would pick up my animal. They assured me they were. However in October when some of the covid restrictions were lifted my sweet pet passed at 9 pm. NO ONE EVER answered the phone, no one returned our call. Not only are we hear broken but now panicked. What do we do with our dead dog?!?! After repeated calls for 1.5 hrs we decided this was now our problem. Went to get ice and loaded her into a cooler on a cookie rack so she wasn't submerged in the am. Got a call in the am and was told if I DROP HER OFF (what?!) Before 9 am it would cost extra!! They were supposed to pick her up! I picked up my hard stiff dead dog and took her to them. The mean robust woman who greeted me was emotionless and carass and could care less what we went through the night before . I was not angry but did explain that during an already emotional time they made my experience worse.- she just nodded. How hard it was to turn my dear girl over to these mean people. They could have atleast called back and advised me of how to handle the situation! Will NOT recommend to anyone and it has taken me over a year later to be able to write this! Awful experience!Edit:. I began calling and asking questions in March. The same questions and watching for inconsistent answers. I got the same answers from a soft spoken young man. Yes we are open 24 hrs and yes we will pick your animal up....all during covid. However that's not what happened. I pleaded with them to pick her up and told them she was in the garage and I will stay inside. No we can't do that. Can i set her outside and you pick her up? No I was told. Yet they were willing to take her from me in person?!? How is that different than picking her up in my driveway?? Offered no monetary compensation for changing the rules or emotional compensation in terms of sympathy.

These ladies were so gentle and loving in my time of pain. They treated my beautiful cat Puff with the most gentle of hands, and allowed me to cry and talk for awhile. They have a gorgeous selection of urns and other keepsakes to purchase, and their prices are very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about them. They are a true Godsend.

SHOP AROUND! YOU HAVE OPTIONS!!!We were extremely distraught and distracted at the sudden loss of our wonderful, loving, sock stealing, family member. This brochure is pushed on you At the animal Hospital and at the time of loss. It implied that this is who you have to hand your pet over to for cremation. This isnt so. They do not offer you any other options or brochures. But there are options!!! Find out your options!!! We had over a 1300.00 vet bill and 1600.00 Hospital. The option we chose (because they push and push) was the cheapest and would have had his name engraved in the wooden box urn. After near 300.00 we had to go and pick up the box and it has a cheap sticker on the top with not our loved ones name the largest print - but the pet traditions logo 😒 and then in small print our fur baby. Very distasteful. When I asked why it wasnt engraved I was told "That the picture in the brochure is misleading. If I want engraved I need a more expensive wooden urn." Or I need to purchase a metal lable.SHOP AROUND AND SEE WHAT YOUR OPTIONS ARE!!!Very expensive for what you get!

My dog Amber passed September 26, 2018 at around 7pm at home. My husband called even though they were closed and offered to meet us there. We live about an hour away but he still agreed. When we got there we went through the whole process even though it was late. My husband was only expecting that we would take care of the rest some other time. I was still a mess having just lost her only an hour and a half before, but the gentleman was patient with me. I'm very grateful.

Absolutely top notch people. Excellent customer service. 50% veterans discount on cremations.

Highly recommended! They handled the process with empathy and compassion. They take great care in the process to make sure you only take home your beloved pet's ashes only. They made this part of my whole sad ordeal a little easier to deal with.

Losing my car Angel was very hard on me and my family we had her since she was born. She was 12 yrs old and was like family. I called and talk to John and he was so patient and understanding they even offered to come and pick her up for me they are truly a blessing!!!!

Do better.

Pet Traditions is a wonderful place. Their staff is very kind and sympathetic to your loss. I felt a bit of peace leaving there knowing my girl was in good hands.

My precious senior Shih Tzu passed away in February of this year. The wonderful staff at Pet Traditions made this difficult time in my life less stressful, which I’m incredibly thankful for since it’s not easy losing a companion that has been in my life for 17 years. Thank you for your professionalism and empathy.

Highly recommended! They handled the process with empathy and compassion. They take great care in the process to make sure you only take home your beloved pet's ashes only. They made this part of my whole sad ordeal a little easier to deal with.

We lost our beautiful Lua in January and would like to express our appreciation to Pet Traditions Memorial Center for your loving care. The locks of hair, paw print poems, along with the certificate have a special place in our hearts. Lua was a very special girl and was with us for fourteen years and we really miss her. Your staff helped make this difficult time easier for us with your care, compassion and concern. Thanks for picking Lua up and returning her to Ponca City. Jimmie and Merlene

Calling them 02/13/25 crying & out of sorts, very emotional. Making the choice to not let my boy suffer any longer from Myasthenia gravis at just 4 1/2 years old and fighting it since August, it was time to end his fight/suffering. When I called upset they calm down and reinsured that my beloved boy would have the best after care as possible handled with the most love & compassion. They went over my wishes and needs and prices and was very helpful throughout the process. They paired with our vet to pick our big boy up after passing on 02/13/25 on 2/14/25 they cremated him and 2/18/25 he was ready for pick up they say it could take up to 10 days to get him back. I was excited when they called stating he was ready for pick up. When I got there he was in a lovely bag then in another Velvet felt bag he came with his cremation certificate & this oak box with his engraved plaque. It was beautiful! They take their time and truly are passionate about what they do. And lovely helpful attitudes to help you get through that rough time in your life after losing a beloved pets. I highly recommend trusted journey. Thanks: fromWichita, KS pittie mom
