I lost my best friend buddy 9/21/24. He was the most beautiful, and greatest dog I’ve ever had and will have, I’ve had him for 13 years. I say this only so you understand how much he means to me and Abby glen has not only made this process just alittle easier but has been more then accommodating, and just all around understanding. They help you through every step of the way so you don’t feel alone. I have never been to a place that has been so caring and goes above and beyond to meet your needs. They are constantly giving you updates but at the same time will give you your own space so you can grieve. Your are not rushed at all , they let you say good bye and give you privacy to do so. I had the pleasure meeting Sara who is an absolute saint. She has been more then accommodating for every and I mean EVERY thing I have asked of her. She has been with me every step of the way and has been so amazing and I will always remember her for this. I’m writing this review because I want people to know you are not alone and Abby glen will be by your side every step of the way. I say this because Sara was everything and more for me.And I am forever grateful for her. And she will have a special place in my heart for not only caring for me but most importantly the way she cares for buddy.Buddy was the best thing that ever happend to me and I will forever miss him I will never be the same after this but atleast I had Sara to guide me through the way ThankyouBuddy whittle 5/22/11 9/21/24

We recently lost our beloved 15 year old boy Lucky & I can’t thank Danielle of Abbey Glen enough for how amazing she was during our darkest day. She was the calming influence we needed to help us with the process of what needed to be done. She went above & beyond, because she was willing to stay at the crematorium thirty minutes after they closed to be there for us as we said our goodbyes to Lucky. Danielle is extremely thoughtful, caring & a real asset to Abbey Glen. Also, we were in awe of what we received from Abbey Glen to memorialize our boy. The attention to detail in the certificate, ceramic paw print, tricolor hair clippings & absolutely beautiful cedar box with his name & dates is top notch. Thank you for treating Lucky with respect & love. ❤️🐾

Abbey Glen Pet Memorial was such a comfort for my husband and I when our beloved kitty, Minkie, died. People that do a beautiful job should be rewarded and thanked for the care they show their clients. We got Minkie back in a beautifully arranged blue decorated cylinder with sweet little paw prints and her paw print so clear, we were so pleased! All this was contained in a tasteful and sentimental bag that, coincidentally, we picked up from the Vet on the 10th anniversary of when we picked her up as a baby! I spoke to Sara who was so sweet and understanding, such a comfort during a time of loss!! Thank You, Abbey Glen! Gratefully, Edie Stanford XO

We recently lost our 19.5 year old cat and I can't say enough about how compassionate and careful they were with my baby. When there was a typo in my email address, they even called to make sure I had the tracking information when he was on his way back home. His remains were beautifully preserved as was his little footprint. Their care and compassion has helped us in this devastating loss.

The staff at Abbey Glen are the most considerate people I have ever come across. They showed such compassion for our dog Lucy. Their heart felt communication was flawless. Kathy and her staff performance was impressive. Everything was set up professionally by them. My dog Lucy was so clean and they made her look like a little angel. The grounds team went over and above to see that Lucy was handled with utmost care. I want to Thank Abbey Glen for hiring them and should be very proud to have them as employees. Thank you Kathy for guiding us thru this difficult time.

I want to commend Kim and Vinny of Abbey Glen for their compassion and professionalism after the passing of my beloved dachshund, Mr. Wiggles, earlier this month. Having heard of so many wonderful experiences by other pet owners who used Abbey Glen, I knew this was where I needed to go for Mr. Wiggles’ aftercare. From the initial phone call to the consultation, viewing, individual cremation, and the return of his remains to bring home that same afternoon, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I appreciated the respect that was shown to my pet and I am grateful for the outstanding service and sensitivity during a most difficult time.God bless,Michael Nisiotis

Losing my dog was probably the hardest thing in my whole entire life. But I’m grateful for the process my vet started with Abbey Glen after he passed over the rainbow bridge. We were able to say goodbye to him in the most serene, most comforting way possible. The folks at Abbey Glen knew the emotions that ran through when people lose their beloved animal friends and use that knowledge and experience to assist in making sure the storage, final farewell and cremation were done in the most respectful and blessed way. We were able to stay and say our goodbyes to my dear Jager without feeling rushed and found small comfort in being able to leave him with his favorite toys before he left this life. Nothing but absolute gratitude and respect for Abbey Glen and their services.

Obviously loosing a member of our family has been extremely tough. We recently lost our beloved American Bully Tyson. The service and turn around time at Abbey Glen was amazing. The assistant manager Billy was polite, courteous and understood our pain and sadness. He is a true professional. Our boy is back home and the paw and nose prints were over the top. Felt as if I was holding my buddy’s paw again. Thank you Billy, and Abbey Glen for all of your help during a challenging time in our lives. Five stars all around.

Easter weekend my poor Fluffie wasn’t well. 15 years old been going through some health issues, on Saturday she just couldn’t get comfortable and Sunday her breathing was labored and she was lethargic, so I called my vet and left a message but I ended up taking her to the emergency vet that was half hour away, they ended up putting her down because I know she wouldn’t of made it through the night. They also told me she was anemic, which was news me. Monday she was picked up and delivered to Abbey Glen pet memorial. I called them on Wednesday. They told me she was there and that I would get her back on Friday the 14th. Later in the day on the 14th the Vet called me and said they had her there and I can come pick her up. I told them I would pick her up on Saturday, very happy with the outcome even though I did lose my poor baby. She is now home with me. Highly recommend Abby Glen Pet Memorial.

I have been using this Abbey Glen Pet Memorial for years now. I prefer to do the attending cremation. Everything is done here with amazing respect and love. The staff here go above and beyond anything I have ever seen. Over the last 13 months I have lost 3 dogs, Frankie, Lily and Lani. Staff member Crystal has always been helpful and supportive to me, always there with kind words and true feelings of caring for me and my pets. When Lily passed, I came here and unbeknownst to me I was driving on a flat tire so when I pulled into the parking lot someone mentioned it to me. Staff member Kathy came out and immediately assisted me with using an air pump to try and refill the tire. Ended up needing to change the tire so staff member Rick did the changing for me. These people went above and beyond to help me in my time of need. I find peace knowing that my pets are cared for properly and lovingly by all the people here at Abbey Glen. During such a difficult time in your life this place helps start the healing process. Thank you to all of them.

A wonderful, compassionate staff. Both Cathy in the office and Rick at the crematory were very compassionate and respectful in helping us. A beautiful, serene cemetery for all kinds of pets. They handle your beloved pet with compassion, love and respect. I’m sure they are your correct choice for cremation and/or burial.

My two Beautiful boys Stitch and Spike, two amazing Chihuahuas, from Puerto Rico, blessed me with such an incredible life, but as their unending unconditional Love, has to be transformed, the baby, Spike left this realm first. I was devastated! Thanks to Mrs. Greybek, the boys incredible vets Dr. Donna Greybek’s mom, she told me only Abbey Glen is an incredible labor of Love and compassion.Indeed, the most beautiful and dignified service for my angel Spike. The care, respect and empathy at this sad time of transformation was and continues to be outstanding.Pat and Vinny were incredible in making this journey one of the celebrations of his glorious life. The compassion and love, the attention to the details at this sad time, became a true Loving Tribute. As it came to pass, his older brother Stitch missed him so much, he had such a Broken heart, he went to join him a week to the day.To experience such grief and loss, back to back, wouldn’t have been possible without the Love and care of Abbey Glen. They both had incredible Transformational Services. Transformation indeed, because that’s what my boys always did and still do transforming my life in so many ways. Specially when life loses its shine the put the Sparkle in it.Being human hurts, but the love of our companions, our kids, make life every day Magnificent! In loving and eternal gratitude,Stitch’s and Spike’s Dad

Several years back, I've had both of my beloved Kitty and my sweet Pitbull cremated here and returned to me promptly. Compared to other pet cremation services, Abbey Glen is much more superior from speaking to the staff and how quickly the cremains came back.

I’ve had all my pets done by them. I can’t say enough good things about them. The care and compassion they take with my beloved pets is just truly amazing. They make a difficult time easier. Thank you all for what you do. God bless.

I recently lost my cat Sativa after 15 years. The veterinarian where I adopted her (Just Cats) the GREATEST place in the world by the way, sent her to Abbey Glen to be cremated. I received her back in a beautiful Bamboo Urn with her nameplate. My previous cat Bianca, was also cremated by Abbey Glen in 2006. I wanted a matching Bamboo Urn for Bianca. I called Abbey Glen to see if they could help me. I spoke with Kim. Kim treated me with more compassion and understanding then the Funeral Home that buried my Mother and Brother. Need I say anything more? Anyone reading this understands how my heart is ripped out. Thank you Just Cats. Thank you Abbey Glen. You make the world a little kinder.

It's never easy to bury loved ones. I took my aunt here to bury her beloved dog. Everyone employed here was wonderful. Especially T.J. and Michael. It's a great place for your pet to transition.

After our companion of 11 years disappeared and 2 weeks of looking, I was happy to find out that our local animal shelter worked with Abbey Glenn. Not only did they do a beautiful job with his cremation, but they also delivered him back to our local shelter saving us shipping costs or a 3 hour drive. Thank you for such professional and compassionate service, from the McDonald family in Ocean County.

I can't even describe how grateful I am to Abbey Glen. My beautiful dog Brooklyn passed away and my heart has been broken ever since. I didn't know that Abbey Glen offers pet viewings so you can say a proper goodbye and send-off. While browsing the computer I called and asked them if my pet had been already cremated and they told me no. I told them I am interested in doing the pet viewing so I can say goodbye. A lot people don't know but if your pet owner pets are not just a pet, they are a member of the family. I got concerned because the day my dog was suppose to have a viewing and there was a snow storm and I was able to reschedule it for a day later and that made me really happy because the workers at abbey glen really do care about there customers. I want to specially thank Kathy for all her hard work and helping organize my doggies final farewell its something ill remember forever. She was outstanding and I was able to buy keepsakes for me and my family. I am so grateful for her. I also recommend Pat who was able to reschedule my dogs viewing and reassured me that everything will be okay. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to this pet memorial.

My cat passed away this week, not only did they handle her with care and respect, they were quick but also more than accommodating! I had a question and it was late so I was just going to leave a message. They called me back moments later! They go above and beyond and truly care. This was difficult and painful, but they supported me along the way. Beyond grateful

My pet passing was hard for me, it was very unexpected. I wanted to cremate my animal but all the vets wanted to me unreasonable pricing. Abbey Glen was responsible on top they provided a military discount which means a lot to our family because they appreciate the sacrifices military members make which is hard to find now a days.Carol was so sweet and kind she listened to me on the phone and when I was heading over she tried her best to be the one who would help me whish I glad I got to meet her. She gave me a big hug which I really needed and listened to me some more. She went over everything in detail and asked if I had anymore questions. Next I got to meet Billy who was very compassionate as well he let me say my final goodbyes in private and supported my emotions and was very understanding.I would recommend Abbey Glen to all who care for their pets as their own child because they understand and can relate to how you feel.

Thank you all at Abbey Glen. My cat Cleo passed away on Monday and I just received her ashes today on Thursday. Beautiful package with a wooden box urn with a name plate, a certificate with the day of cremation and personal note. I can’t begin to express my gratitude for taking care of my girl. After fifteen years of the love she gave me its only fair I gave her a proper send off. I would recommend Abbey Glen to anyone who loses a pet. Very professional and classy.

They took wonderful care of my cat Samantha who passed a few days ago. Caroll allowed me and myMother to watch the entire process after I requested it (I requested at the time I made the appointment). The person operating the furnace, Vinny, was extremely kind and professional. He was dressed nicely and handled her remains very carefully and respectfully, like she was made of glass.I’m very happy we chose this crematorium for taking care of our fur baby. I heard so many horror stories about pet crematoriums from the internet. Abbey Glen handles deceased pets very well. They soothed all our fears and helped us gain some peace from the experience.

After 12 years we had to put our beloved fur baby to rest. Our vet sent Buddy to Abbey Glen to be cremated. He came back with 2 paw prints one was clay the other styrofoam with a picture frame and a beautiful wood box with a name plate. Thank you so much for treating my Buddy as if he were your own.

Abbey Glen were there for me and helped me in this horrible situation that another cremation place in Clifton put us through. We called Abbey Glen center and spoke to Carol. She told us she will help us and cremate out baby today. When we met her she was so caring and nice and immediately I felt such a relief! Thank you!!!!! And thank you to a guy at crematory building for being so nice and caring! Sorry don't know your name. It is really a beautiful final place for your baby pets. Thank you Abbey Glen!!! You gave me a peace of mind!

My family and I have been using Abbey Glen for over 15 years. I most recently used them last month when we unexpectedly lost our black lab Austin to a stroke. He was a very special rescue we had the pleasure of sharing our lives with for the last 10 years. Once I shared this with Pat she suggested maybe I would like to have a service before the cremation. I had never done this before but in my heart I needed to see him one more time to say goodbye. While this might not be for everyone I am so happy for her recommendation. It was the most beautiful and peaceful way to say my final goodbye. The care and professionalism they showed was so much more than I would have ever imagined and for those final minutes I got to say goodbye to Austin I will be forever grateful to Pat and the whole Abbey Glen family.

Can't say enough about the peace and serenity AG has brought to my heart over the years!I laid to rest my beautiful Dalmatian, Smokey, in 1986. Since then, my beloved cats Scribbles, Felix, Pudgy and my beloved dogs Stitch, Maui and Hannah (2016) are resting there. I visit there and celebrate my wonderful years with them - in the tranquil beauty of Abbey Glen's grounds! The staff is wonderful and has always made me feel special and comforted. They do an amazing job there and I say, "thank you"!I feel at peace knowing my "babies" are there in this peaceful setting. This is how I want to memorialize my precious pets - surrounding them by beauty, one with nature!therr

My wife and I would like to express our thanks to the staff at Abbey Glen for their sincere and compassionate handling of our Sam's cremation. He was returned to us in the beautiful box along with his paw print and certificate of cremation. We have used Abbey Glen several times over the years and have never been disappointed. We recommend this facility very highly.

Our dog was a family member. The entire process at Abbey Glen was remarkable and I know they understood how my wife and I felt about our dog, Marshmellow. She was only 6 years old and it was unexpected. The place is beautiful, and they went above and beyond to make the funeral special and meaningful. I rarely write reviews, but I promised myself I would when I left. The woman that helped us was Kathy Milne.

I wasn't exactly sure what to do after our beloved dog of 13 years passed away suddenly. I was given the number of Abbey Glen from my vet. I spoke with Janet who was so helpful and compassionate I knew I made the right call. Mike came to myhome to pick up my dog, Fluffy because I couldn't bring myself to do it. He was caring, professional, gentle and truly sympathetic when handling him. When I went to pick up his remains, I was greeted by a lovely woman Pat who was so soft-spoken and kind; she is a woman who truly loves animals and takes pride in her job. When the time comes to make a decision for your pet, don't think twice, contact Abbey Glen and put your pet in their very caring hands. Thank you Abbey Glen for making this difficult time much easier to accept.

I would highly recommend choosing Abbey Glen to cremate your pet. They were extremely professional and very helpful, from the moment I called. Gail took my order over the phone for the items I wanted and she was very kind and assured me that my angel would be safe in transport to her facility. She even emailed me personally to let me know that my Sophie arrived safe to her , and that they were processing her that day. I appreciated that so much, that Gail cared enough to inform me of that. I ordered the triangle urn, and it is BEAUTIFULLY done!! I love the way it has 3 different sides to it, each side with a personal saying. This is definitely the urn to put your pet in, for it's final resting place. The ink paw print in a frame, is also a beautiful keepsake. I'm very satisfied with the professionalism of Abbey Glen , and the beautiful items I received , in this very difficult time. Thank you!

Abbey Glen's cremation services are absolutely extraordinary. It was Pat who I dealt with and her kindness and compassion made one of the worst days of my life more bearable than I thought it could possibly be. I had never witnessed my pets cremation before but I'm so grateful that I did this time, for my beloved cat, Ernie. Pat, you are a real life angel. I'm so grateful you were there with us on 12/28/19. Thank you. Thank you also to Vinny and all other staff who helped me on that day. You are are wonderful people.

A Heartwarming Farewell: Abbey Glen Services' Exceptional Memorial ServiceLosing a furry companion is never easy, but Abbey Glen Services made saying goodbye to my beloved dog an experience filled with love and beautiful memories. The memorial service they provided was nothing short of exceptional, and the kindness and attentiveness of their staff made a significant difference during this difficult time. From the moment we contacted Abbey Glen Services, their staff exhibited utmost empathy and understanding. They patiently listened to our preferences and offered guidance without any pressure, ensuring that every aspect of the memorial service would be a true reflection of our dog's life and the bond we shared. The memorial service itself was a touching tribute to our canine friend. The venue was beautifully decorated, exuding warmth and serenity. The staff at Abbey Glen Services were not only professional but also genuinely compassionate. They treated us with the utmost respect and sensitivity, understanding that this was a profoundly emotional time for our family. Their warm smiles, comforting words, and supportive gestures were deeply appreciated and provided a source of strength when we needed it most. Thank you, Abbey Glen pet memorial, for providing a loving and memorable tribute to our beloved dog's life.

My St. Bernard, Brutus was 7.5 years when he lost his battle against his heart condition. He was our fur baby and we took care of him more than ourselves. So, we were in a desperate need of finding a good memorial service in NJ, distance wasn't an issue for us. We were just looking for compassionate people who understand our situation. Suddenly, I came across their website which is beautifully created and I contacted them in the morning and talked to Kim. Just by talking to her, I knew that this is the right place for my baby's final goodbye. She booked our appointment for same day and we wanted to viewing cremation, she organized everything so beautifully. Her associates who helped my dog's cremation was also very compassionate and very professional. I just can't thank them enough for such a beautiful and dignified ceremony for him. I recommend them for your pet's last needs.

I lost Snowy my 17.5 years maltese on 10/17/2018. He was my baby and life. I always tried to give him best in life and wanted nothing less for his farewell. The staff at Abbey Glen helped me give him a perfect farewell on 10/18. They kept him overnight so that I could have everyone who loved him be there to say their last bye to him.The next day when I went on 10/18 for his final rites - the staff at Abbey glen had taken such good care of him that he looked like he was in a deep peaceful sleep in fairy land. The place is so well maintained, peaceful and staff very very courteous and give all the details while maintaining the sensitivity of your loss. This place was one and half hour away from where I live but the drive was worth every mile.If you love your pet and want to give him tha best farewell then this is the place.Thank You - to all staff of Abbey Glen for giving my snowy the best farewell he deserved.

They helped us through one of the hardest times our family has ever had.. our beloved companion for 11 years was able to be given a dignified fair well. That he so much deserved.. Thank you.

The staff at Abbey Glen are phenomenal. Our hearts are broken as we suddenly lost our beloved 14+ year old Shiba Inu, Nikko. Kathy at Abbey Glen was so very kind, attentive and caring. Her kindness allowed us to pay the respect to him he so richly deserved. Nikko's remains were handled with respect, returned to us in a timely manner, and the staff was very informative every step on his final journey home.

I chose Abbey Glen for my dog Casey's cremation, and I am so happy I did. I left there with a feeling of peace and comfort, knowing that Casey was left in great hands. Thank you to all the staff for your professionalism, and for treating me with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Abbey Glen truly is a piece of Heaven.

The level of kindness and professionalism at this facility is immeasurable. From the very first call, to bringing my furbaby in, and picking up his ashes I could not ask for a more kinder experience. I also could not believe how exceptionally kind Vinny was to my Mom and I as we said our goodbyes to Duke. It was the hardest and one of the worst experiences to let him go but Vinny patiently and kindly waited and listened to our stories about our best friend. Two days later we were able to pick up Duke's ashes that were placed in a beautiful wooden box for us to take him home in. For one of the worst experiences of my life this place made it as peaceful and seamless as possible. I am so grateful for Abbey Glen and every one that works there.

I recently and unexpectedly lost my dog. They helped me through this challenging process and were supportive and reassuring every step of the way.

This place is great. We are 3rd time customers here. In the past 2 years we lost 3 Chihuahua's to old age. Both Vets we used, they sent our pets to this location. They had our pets pack within a week. They also call you when the ashes are done so you know when to expect it back. Whether you wanna pick it up at your Vets office or they send it directly to your home. The only small "complaint" is that they recently changed the wood box material. 2 years ago we got this beautiful dark cherry wood Urn. But they no longer have that. The last Urn we received was this very light wood color. It looks like a toy box. So, hoping they can maybe bring back the dark cherry Urn one day. Other than that, we are very pleased with the service.

So for many of us pet owners that have to say goodbye, burying them in the back yard is not always an option. For us, we choose private cremation. I always wondered if it was really "private." Well I am here to say Abbey Glen pet cremation is the real deal. Before Hannah was saved from a kill shelter in SC, she had been shot with BBs. When we adopted her, we took her to the vet for a check up. Xrays revealed she had many, many stainless steel pellets in her abdomen. There were a few in her face that we had removed. The vet said since they were stainless steel, she could live a happy, normal life. Removing them all would be to evasive. He was right. She had 15 wonderful years with us. Back to Abbey Glen. Being the skeptic I am, I was curious. I picked up her ashes yesterday and opened the box today. I took a powerful magnet and ran it across the bag. Sure enough, pieces of metal attached to the magnet. So I really have my girl. Wonderful to know they are a trustworthy business that cares about grieving pet owners. Kudos, Abbey Glen!!! Thank you.❤

Dear Abbey Glen,This is my second beloved cat to pass away and the second time that we have chosen to have your company provide services & care. Thank you so much for your care and attention! I picked up my pet's urn from the vet today and I can tell that so much care and attention goes into your work. The beautiful bag that carried the delicate paw print which was double wrapped in two different supports, the fitting box that protects the urn that holds the ashes.. The Rainbow Bridge poem, the date of the cremation.... I appreciate your care to our beloved pet that we miss so much. I would recommend your company to anyone who will need to utilize services such as these. I truly appreciate it & would also write a personal review for your company. Thank you & God Bless you all.

Several years back, I've had both of my beloved Kitty and my sweet Pitbull cremated here and returned to me promptly. Compared to other pet cremation services, Abbey Glen is much more superior from speaking to the staff and how quickly the cremains came back.
Madeline O'Keefe

The most peaceful place. Abbey Glenn in Lafayette showed such compassion to my family & I during the most difficult time. Very grateful for the way we were able to send our Luca off with dignity...Thank you..❤️

Diana Wheeler
Thank you all at Abbey Glen. My cat Cleo passed away on Monday and I just received her ashes today on Thursday. Beautiful package with a wooden box urn with a name plate, a certificate with the day of cremation and personal note. I can’t begin to express my gratitude for taking care of my girl. After fifteen years of the love she gave me its only fair I gave her a proper send off. I would recommend Abbey Glen to anyone who loses a pet. Very professional and classy.
Joel Fields
Abbey Glen was excellent at planning and performing our toy poodle's burial service. We especially want to thank our arrangement specialist, Carol for carefully explaining our options and patiently answering all questions. She showed a great deal of compassion and was very comforting throughout the process. We will definitely recommend Abbey Glen to anyone seeking the services of a very professionally run and well-maintained pet cemetery.

Abbey Glenn lost my Ferret’s body. It’s just gone, they can’t give me any more information? Abbey Glenn has continuously gone down hill. Being a VA, I see the behind the scenes of what goes on with your animal and the love we put into making sure the members of your FAMILY are sent over the rainbow bridge with love. This is not the first time Abbey Glenn has done something like this at other vets. I am devastated. Their one job is to make sure YOUR BABY is cremated. How do you LOSE A BODY WHEN THAT IS YOUR BUSINESS?
Phil Ingram
We just received our beloved cat's ashes today via Richboro Vet Hospital in Pennsylvania. What a wonderful surprise to find the beautiful Rainbow Bridge card and a personalized cherry wood urn, along with a lock of her hair. My wife and I were speechless in receiving the memorial kit. We would highly recommend Abbey Glen to all our family and friends in the area.

I don't know where to begin. Except to say that I worked with a wonderful lady named Kim. Kim truly took me into her life and immediately made me feel like family. She took care of me and mymost precious cat whose name was Puppy. He was 18yrs old. The caring and compassion I received from Kim and also Crystal was above and beyond. If you truly love your animal then Abbey Glen is the place for you and for your animal. This is where their trip to heaven begins. This is the entrance way to those gates. I can't thank Kim and Abbey Glen enuff for all they did.

I only give this company 1 star because no star is not an option. I am in the Veterinary field and I personally know of 3 cases in the past 6 months of Abbey Glen "losing" the remains of someone's loved one. First of all, how do you "lose" a body - literally your only job. Secondly, these people are absolutely inconsolable about losing their loved ones and then to be kicked while they are down they have to learn that their pet was treated like garbage? Not only did these individuals pay for individual remains (ashes back to owner) but they entrust that this company care for their pets the way they would any human - with respect, care, and accountability. Most recently, this happened to a dear friend of mine and I simply have no words. To Abbey Glen - your only purpose and function is to either: a ) cremate a pet and return the ashes to an owner or b.) Communal cremations (ashes do not get returned to owner). How do you mess that up so badly not once, not twice, but three times (that I personally know of - potentially more). If this were the human field you would be out of business and have law suits at your every turn. I hope that someday, you feel the pain that these owners felt, the betrayal, and the lack of respect. Truly disgusting.Where is Finn?
Cathy Sabo
Thank you to all the staff at Abby Glen. You all were very compassionate both on the telephone and inperson. You took special care of my fur baby Max. He lived long life 27 years for a cat. It was hard to let go. You made the transition special and caring. I would highly recommend your services to any and all. Thank you again.
John Polewczak Sr.
I would recommend Abby Glen. I was a bit skeptical but picking up my pets cremains today gave me a sense of closure. I am so glad I chose this service. When I contacted the office three days after my dogs passing, they were very considerate and helpful. The process set up by my vetinary service turned out to be the best decision. Thank you Abby Glen.

I would like to thank Pat and Vinny for the wonderful service they provided! Pat took my call in off hour in the evening and set up the appointment for next morning. She received us and listened to us and provided the most comforting and compassionate service. Vinny put our beloved kitty in her final basket for our final goodbye. Going through this process gave us proper closure. Pat and Vinny's compassion provided comfort to us in this saddest time of our lives.

We lost our beloved dog Cookie in Feb. 2021. We worked with Kim at Abbey Glen. She was amazing to work with!!!! She made a hard time much easier on myself and my family. We where very pleased with Kim and the Abbey Glen.

This was such a lovely facility and I’ve had two of my pets cremated here including bringing one of them myself all the way from Brooklyn. Everyone from the ladies on the phone to the kind woman who greeted me with a hug when I arrived was great. It’s such a difficult time and the kindness of strangers does ease that. The place itself is beautiful and I was able to spend some time afterwards wandering the grounds and sitting in quiet reflection. I felt like everything was handled with utmost respect and dignity.

Ron Shahar

Thank you!
Lisa Basile
Abbey Glen's cremation services are absolutely extraordinary. It was Pat who I dealt with and her kindness and compassion made one of the worst days of my life more bearable than I thought it could possibly be. I had never witnessed my pets cremation before but I'm so grateful that I did this time, for my beloved cat, Ernie. Pat, you are a real life angel. I'm so grateful you were there with us on 12/28/19. Thank you. Thank you also to Vinny and all other staff who helped me on that day. You are are wonderful people.
Tara Polukort
I have been using abby glen for years since being a vet tech and the people that pick up the pets are dignified and happy to talk with you. I have had over 15 animals cremated and ashes returned with no problems. I love them and hoping to get plots for my pets or a mausoleum lol. I plan to visit there soon. I'm so grateful to you and the workers. I remember bob and the rescuer of birds. Such lovely guys. Thank you. You care as much as I do for my fur babies and for the one that said he didnt recieve the ink pawprints the vet could of done that.

I have used Abby Glen multiple times. Very recently, as well. I will never take my pet elsewhere. They are compassionate and you can tell that they care. I've have always received what I ordered & in pristine condition.

Hi,My name is Laurie Williams. I had to put my best friend of 15 years, my dachshund Jonah to sleep on January 28th. My vet uses your facility for the cremation. I was very pleased today, when I received his ashes and the letter that was enclosed about the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for doing such a good job and for your personal touch. I appreciate it.

Abbey Glen Pet Memorial Park is like piece of heaven on earth. I love the place , it is so beautiful and so peaceful. I feel blessed that I found that place ,and that I was able to give my sixteen years and two months old Min Pin Niky the best goodbye ever. Thanks to Pat McCarrick everything was so organized and so perfect. Her kindness and her big heart helped me do deal with my pain. She wanted everything to be perfect, she wanted my last goodbye to be just the way I wanted. My dog had individual cremation, and I wanted to be there and to have her remains handed to me.Everything was so organized, and my Niky looked like she was sleeping, her little face was so beautiful, she looked like she was so relaxed and so ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge. They wrapped her in her little blanket , just the way I used to do and the way she used to love it. Next to her little body they put a little paw print keepsake that they made for me . It was a beautiful suprise , that they gave me for free. I stayed with my Niky privately, Pat gave me all the time that I needed to say my last goodbye. It was a beautiful funeral. After, the cremation was done Pat prepared everything for me ,and brought my Niky in beautiful triangle cherry wood urn with a nameplate. On one side I have my Niky's cremation certificate, on the other side I have The Rainbow Bridge story and the last side I put her picture, even on the top of the urn you have a little space to put something, which I used to put my Niky's necklace. Abbey Glen is the best place that one can choose for their pets. I must mention that they are not expensive at all . They love animals, it's so obvious that all they do , they do with love. I would highly recommend this place , it's the best place to say your final goodbye to your loving pet. Thank you Pat and thank you Abbey Glen for giving my Niky the best possible way to leave this world. Forever thankful family Vukosa.

As a veterinarian, having a beloved pets remains returned in a beautiful, respectful, and loving presentation is incredibly important. I had previously used a place in NJ which was wonderful but very difficult for me to get to as they did not do pick ups. I then started using a service that shall remain nameless. It was a HORRIBLE experience (so horrible I will not post the conditions either regarding who I was previously using). Needlesstosay I am forever grateful I came across them at a veterinary conference and I will NEVER use anyone else again. They are very cost effective, professional (phone services available, follow up emails to documen checks and balances of patient name spellings, etc), staff is friendly and respectful and presents themselves in a very respectful manner. If you are a veterinarian looking for a company to use for your cremation services, please consider them. You will not be disappointed. Their "basic/regular" urn is beautiful mahogany color, has a endearing certificate indicating private cremation, and returned in a respectful carrying bag. If I could think of anything else they could do it wouldn't be possible because these guys are just seriously amazing. (oh, and vets they can handle your sharps too!) Keep up the amazing work, AGP! Please relay to all of your staff how happy and pleased we are with your company!--Dr. Loose

We are so greatful to Abbey Glen. They made it possible for us to still have our wonderful "Pup" with us. She is on a table in the living room. Abbey Glen is reasonably priced. We bought the Keepsake Triangular Photo Urn. It is very very nice.On one side there is a place for a picture of our "Pup" and a nameplate. Another side is the pets name with the owners name. The third side is a beautiful poem. The ern was given to us in a very nice bag. I will say again we are very greatful to Abbey Glen for their reasonable price. God Bless You. Thank you from Diana and Dave.

Disgraceful job. High don't recommend. Please bring your loved pets elsewhere. This is the first time I've ever left a review for any company online. The issue is so deer to the heart. We did not receive what we ordered and our forever remembrance of loved pet can not be undone. We called to verify that ink paw prints would be taken and paid to include an additional. INSTEAD we received 3 clay molds. On top of that, we paid for ONE framed clay mold. This company should be in the field of perfecting their job. The irresponsible person who did the crematory for our pet should be fired. We called 3 x to make sure our order was correct and they still messed it up. They didn’t even return our phone call when we promised one. We have also filed business complaints against this company. Poor business practices and they should be ashamed.

This place is incredible. Such a peaceful location to lay your beloved pet to rest with the most compassionate staff you could ask for. Pat took care of our attending cremation for our dog. She was amazingly attentive and understanding during this rough time.

The staff and grounds at Abbey Glen are wonderful. . .they help to make a sad event bearable with their professionalism and compassion. Losing my Ceasar (at 16-1/2) was hard on my family, but taking him to Abbey Glen gave him the final respect and dignity he gave us in life. Thank you for this!!!Gratefully,Carol Laskos

This Company was entrusted with my Cat after having her put down. I requested a few paid for a pawprint with e pet check urgent. Are I s Deptford NJ, this was March 19th. It is now May 10th and after multiple phone calls and making a whole lot of noise about where my paw print was I find out no one has the answer. The pet check doesn't have it the crematory can't find it. AND no one will take responsibility for the ball being dropped. SO THANK YOU ABBEYGLENN for making zureI do not have the absolute last piece of my Cat. Something g that was for my small child to remember her by.

I absolutely love this place. They were very kind and understanding. They took our baby girl Blossom 🌸 and handled her with such tenderness and respect. I highly recommend them. Thank you Abbey Glen for the memories I have of our Blossom.

Dear Abbey Glen staff, especially Janet, I can't thank you enough for the dignity and care you provided me and my Rocky. You took Rocky from Newton Vet and we had a private viewing the next day. During this difficult time the entire staff especially Janet were so comforting. Words can not express my appreciation and I am happy to provide any additional feedback on your behalf or act as a personal referral. When the unfortunate time comes again I plan to use your facility with no hesitation.Thank You Laurie Kaleta Leider

I cremated 3 dogs. 2 had beautiful carved wooden boxes. For over $350.00 we received a plain wood box not even varnished and it looks like a kid made it in Boys Scouts. Very disappointed.

Margaret Bippart

Such a beautiful place, and really nice staff. I came all the way from Pennsylvania to pick up my babies ashes, it was worth it!

This place is so pathetic. Can’t go on any of their websites, can’t get in touch with anyone to order the offerings for the pets. It is so upsetting that I am sending my cat for a cremation and the company can’t even answer phone calls. This just shows how much they care about animals. They truly don’t.

COUPLE OF DAYS AGO I JUST PUT MY CAT GILLIGAN DOWN. IT WAS SO HARD TO LET HIM GO. I HAVE USED ABBEY GLEN FOR SEVERAL OF MY ANIMALS. IT IS SUCH A CARING PLACE. NOT ONLY DO THEY HANDLE HIM WITH CARE WHEN YOU RECEIVE HIS ASHES YOU RECEIVE THEM BACK IN SUCH A CARING WAY. IT'S WONDERFUL TO KNOW WE HAVE SUCH A GREAT PLACE LIKE ABBEY GLEN PET MEMORIAL PARK IN SUSSEX CTY. THANK YOU

This is a very beautiful and well maintained place. It's one of the few places that offers burial in addition to cremation for when one loses a pet. The staff is very sensitive and professional.
Mushi's Mommy

Warning stay clear of this place their incompetence had caused me a lot of stress in dealing with the loss of my pet Sheamus was diagnosed with Lymphoma on June 20th and had to be euthanized on June 24th at the Pennsylvania SPCA he could no longer stand or eat or drink Abbey Glen picked him up on June 30th and he was cremated on July 1st when I spoke with Gail on June 26 th asking when Sheamus will be picked up from the SPCA she asked if there was any additional services I would like done before Sheamus was cremated and we decided on a paw print $16.91 and a lock of his hair and I gave her my debit card to pay for the paw print which she said would not be charged until the print was done and was charged on 7/2/20 I called on Friday July 3rd talk to John asking when I will receive Sheamus’s ashes/paw print /lock of hair he said I will have them by Monday 7/6/20 and gave me no tracking number I called again on Monday 7/6/20 talked to Gail she said she will call me back with a tracking number she called back say that they lost or misplaced Sheamus’s paw print and lock of hair I asked if they lost them or was they never done she said misplaced I assumed they would find them she called back saying it was just never done and my money was put back on my card 7/7/20 Gail’s apology was worthless to me the incompetence of this business is unbelievable they have cause me undue stress in dealing with the closure of my pets death and I believe because it was a $16.91 paw print And free lock of hair meant nothing to them no big loss .and I also believe they knew as as soon as Friday 7/3 /20 what happed which is why John lied to me saying I would receive everything Monday 7/6/20 what they did is inexcusable and disgusting and I am sure this is not the the first time this has occurred at this business be Warned stay clear of this place it’s profits over pets !!!!!!!!!!!

My dog died on Monday July 29th 2019 07/29/2019 and was transported to Abbey Glen on Tuesday July 28th 2019 07/28/2019 today is Wednesday July 31st 2019 07/31/2019 also my birthday 07/31/199 I was think about coming to see the cremation for my dog today but there was a fee of $150 to come and see the cremation I think Abbey Glen only cares about charging the $150 fee to grieving families and making that $150 money if Abbey Glen truly care about the grieving pet families than Abbey Glen should not charge the $150 fee to come see the cremation of the pets

Everything was done with great compassion and respect...What they did reflected the love we feel for our dog
