Dealing with Pine Rest was a sense of love, care, and peace during one of the hardest times of my life. My poor Remmi had to be put down suddenly. Through the devastating time, the only place I have ever used was Pine Rest in the past. I didn't know they changed owners since my last dealings with them. They answered the phone the 1st time I called, and any subsequent call was met with the same response, just like in the past. I was "shocked" at the price, but look around, show me a price that isn't shocking compared to a few years ago....(don't worry, I'll wait). The lady on the phone (Emily) was truly compassionate and caring. It felt like I was bringing my family member to a family member. The tenderness, the care, the respect they showed my Remmi from the moment I arrived until the moment I picked her up was beyond a level words can describe. She was ready to come home in just 36 hours.Thank you!

Very caring and compassionate. I lost my sweet marliee girl and they were so very caring . DJ laid her out and had her fur brushed and groomed. Along with a paw print . They allowed me to put her toys pictures and note from my daughter. We also were allowed time to grieve with support and to be present with her burial along with a prayer. Everyone has been wonderful every time I'm there and have allowed us to keep her grave with flowers and other things we placed there for her. It means so much to my daughter and I during such a difficult time

Quick summary: the staff at FG/PR will have your back, not only on the worst day(s) of your life, but they will also support you afterward.The backstory: my parrot was my soulmate. We did everything together. I took her with me everywhere I figured I could get away with it. She passed in 2011. Pine Rest was under its original management at the time. I purchased a flat concrete block, topped with a metal grave marker with a photograph of my parrot.As time went by, the metal marker came loose from the concrete slab. The former management did an inadequate job of gluing it back on. It came loose again. Now, who else out there believes that a grave marker should be a one-time purchase, and that it should hold up, if not for eternity, at least for the rest of the purchaser's life span?I complained to the former management and they reluctantly did another slipshod repair attempt, using cheap glue.This summer the metal plate came loose again. Kevin, the current manager, had the entire block removed so it could be repaired properly, with appropriate adhesive. It looks really good. There is still a little gap where ice will most likely get in and force the block and the metal plate apart. Kevin promised me that if my grave marker comes apart in the future, he will have someone look at it again. This time, he didn't want to be too rough with the thin metal plate because if it gets bent, it's ruined. Makes sense to me.So, folks, how about that? The current staff of FG/PR upheld a purhase that was made, years before they had become affiliated with this business! I challenge anyone to find a company with that serious a commitment to its purpose and its customers...it's very rare in today's world. If it weren't for Kevin and his team, I'd be sitting at the grave site, sobbing uncontrollably, that the memory of such a wonderful life wasn't marked properly. Things beong as they are, I couldn't be more grateful.

We had to put our dog Tuba down on August 12, 2024. And he was sent to you guys to be cremated by his Vet Clinic. Thank you so much for taking care of our dog, it is much appreciated.

We lost our fur baby suddenly in January and had to wait until April to view & bury her. The new owners are very kind & respectful, and the new viewing room is outstanding - a few flameless candles and some artificial flowers would be a nice touch. However it is not the same as before the business was sold. They charge for the clay paw print, there is no ink paw print or clippings of your pets fur, no condolence card - it was the little details that made it special and helped with the grieving process. I wish the new owners all the best.

Awesome experience. Got communal cremation for our Nellie. He was very reassuring and kind. We will come back in the summer, to see where they sprinkled her ashes.

We took our little baby Binx today, we were treated with so much respect and compassion. They care about the animal and the owners. Thank you Pine Rest for making such a hard day a little easier.

Very upset. Just got my cats remains back from cremation and having a lifetime of pets including one buried in pine rest remains are now sent in a cedar box without the pets name!!It is not the same as before the business was sold actually charged an extra $20 for a paw print! It is sent beautifully but not the service we got before and again, no animals name.Staff however was very caring. Please consider putting the animals name back on as included in price!

I have been dealing with Pine Rest Pet Cemetery in West Seneca since 1996 with having my previous pets cremated and return to me. I am heart broken that I lost my little Ralphie last week. I took him to Pine Rest. To find out that the previous owners passed away. The past owners were so compassionated and loving. My experience was terrible. First I felt no compassion with the new owners, it seemed like it was just a business. The price was totally out of control for a 14 pound chihuahua, it cost more to have my Ralphie cremated than my 65 pound labs. Plus I paid extra for the urn that my Ralphie was placed in because I wanted a photo urn where I could place his picture in.(other ones were included. I was suppose to be able to pick him up on Tuesday or Wednesday, my husband called and left a message, no call back. I called only to get rap music playing and no phone call back. Finally on Thursday I called and and he said he was cremated but the urn wasnt in, I told them I will pick him that afternoon no matter what. When I went there Ralphie was in the urn that I order. Hand to me in a paper bag. So glad I got him back with me. Never again will I use Pine Rest. So sad.

Thought this was a very peaceful and respectful place of rest. However, any personal thoughts or objects placed at a grave site are removed without prior notice although I was informed they could be placed there; received a phone call after they were removed after one and a half years..not only speaking of our dogs, but my husband of 43 years. Unprofessional and emotionally distressful. Should concentrate more on maintaining property and grounds ( painting and sidewalk repair) then removal of personal and emotional meaningful thoughts.....Also, there is no need for speed bumps or speed limit signs along the road leading toward the back grounds. The road is in major need of repair so 5 mph (possibly) is the speed you can drive without damage to your vehicle as you visit your loved ones now gone....

We have had 6 of our dogs and our daughter has 2 of her dogs buried here. The people that work here are so nice and very helpful when you are so upset about your pet that you can't think right. They walk you through your options for burial of your pet and even say a few words for you over the casket if you want them to. It's such a peaceful place. Our first dog was buried there in 1988. We have Babes, Tara, Sasha, Tess, Carly, Penny and our daughters dogs Missy and Angel buried there.Just a wonderful place.

Very kind and respectful place. I had my cat pass recently and brought her here at the suggestion of my local SPCA and I couldn't be happier with how everything had gone with them. I will miss my cat dearly, and am very grateful that Pine Rest Pet Cemetery made the process that much easier for us.

I brought my cockatiel Big Bird to them and had him back home with me two days later.. I did not expect it to be that fast and I was so grateful.. the complimentary urn I picked out was perfect and my baby was packaged so nicely inside a velvety feeling bag and the guy I dealt with was very nice..very pleased with my experience with them and definitely recommend them

Thank you Pine Rest Pet Cemetery. I received the cremation remains of my friend Midnight, the feral cat. They arrived in a nice cedar box with a gold lock & keys and his name in print on the top of the box. A cremation certificate as well as a beautifully written reminder of the Rainbow Bridge and it's significance for all of those whom have recently crossed over. Thank you for providing this wonderful service.

I have had two of my cats cremated here in the past decade. The people at Pine Rest Cemetary are thoughtful and kind. They refered to my cat by name and when her ashes were ready for me to pick up, their phone message said my cat was ready to come home. So lovely.

Very nicely kept and maintained. Nice to see a place we can bring our furry friends when the pass on. I have had my two in the past cremated privately. Handled with care and professionally returned to me promptly

Its a decayed dilapidated eyesore. Wonderful concept and lawns pretty well kept but every single thing you can imagine on the grounds in terms of outbuildings or statuary or decorations is literally falling apart and disintegrating. Nothing pretty about it, sadly We have several animals there from years ago and it looks like it hasnt been touched in decades. I believe they also have the contract to mass bury all the animals in the area so it wouldnt seem its from lack of income....Heartbreaking, really.

The best place.Mahu Mike, is a sad person and a hater. Only he thinks a 100 year old cemetery should be in perfect condition. Nevermind we have snow and ice for 5 months a year. Fyi, that's rough on concrete statues.
