Dan Enea was so wonderful helping my mother when my step-father passed in March. The care started earlier in the year when my parents met with Dan to pre-plan the arrangements. Dan was so wonderful, explaining the different options and making sure that my step-father wishes would be followed. On the day of the passing, Dan arrived promptly and was very compassionate with everyone during this hard time. After, Dan made sure that my mother had the necessary documents in a timely manner. Perhaps one of the best things is that the services were very budget friendly, which helps people who are living on fixed income. Our family experienced 2 close losses within this last year. Both were at a distance from the Mohawk Valley. Both times, we called on Dan to help us because we trusted him to know what to do, and he did! He took care of everything for us! I was impressed with how the services were handled with respect and compassion for the deceased and family.This really hit home when my mom passed away 2 months ago.My Mom was in a nursing home and in comfort care. I called Dan to get plans in place, not realizing that it was July 4th. He took time out of his holiday time to meet with my family. (Thanks Again & sorry for interfering with your Holiday, Dan!) Dan was very helpful putting our plans in place and compassionate with us and assured my Dad that Mom would be taken care of. At her passing, Dan was very respectful of our last moments with mom. My dad passed away on March 30th and my nephew passed away on April 6, 2007. His service was excellent and he always went above and beyond. Matter of fact he let my nieces go in a few days before the funeral because the one was going on a trip which my father would have said go Emily and enjoy yourself don't stay home on my account. My oldest niece had not been to another funeral since her brothers and so she went to see my dad early also. My dad passed away on March 30th and my nephew passed away on April 6, 2007. His service was excellent and he always went above and beyond. Matter of fact he let my nieces go in a few days before the funeral because the one was going on a trip which my father would have said go Emily and enjoy yourself don't stay home on my account. Everyone, at Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, is compassionate, professional and expedient. In July of 2019, my Mother passed away and they handled everything. In November of 2020, my Father passed. Needless to say, this has been the hardest time for myself and my family, and Daniel eased our burden and was extremely helpful, through it all. Danny and his staff were absolute professionals throughout the entire process surrounding the death and funeral of my grandmother, Catherine "Kitty" Hadcock. Every step was performed impeccably, from her transport from the hospital, family viewing, and funeral service at St Francis and Oak Hill Cemetery.
