the people who handled our loss were exceptional. not only did they treat jacks remains with respect and dignity but the kindness and compassion that the man who came to pick him up treated him with was so memorable. Good to the Jack cat the smallest cat with the biggest heart.

Service 5/5, Cost of cremation 5/5My furry baby passed away on last Monday, and I dropped his body to the LI Pet cremation on the same day. I was able to pick up the ash on Saturday of the same week. I received the certification that my dog was individually cremated. My dog weighed 25lb before the cremation, and his ash was about 14.4oz after the cremation.Overall, I'm very satisfied with their service and good care, and I will recommend this place to my family and friends.

Spreading lies and misinformation about aquamation to pet parents isn’t cool. Be honest about the fact that there are other options, don’t lie because you feel your business is being threatened by the change in times.If I could give no stars, I would. Sick of hearing stories of friends, family, and even strangers being lied to by these people because they care more about lining their pockets than being transparent and honest.

We lost our beloved 12 year old Morkie girl unexpectedly on 7/21/21 at early hours of the morning. She was our first pet that passed at home, our first dog too...We were lost and and heartbroken and had no idea what to do.... I googled different cremation services for pets and found this one so close to our home. Chris was wonderful in arranging the appointment with us within hours of her passing and walked us through the process and options for her arrangements. In this difficult time we chose to have her individually cremated, wrapped in my favorite scarf. We were given any time we wanted to say our final goodbyes....Afterwards he kept us in the loop in regards to the pick up and when we did so, we received everything beautifully packed and also the paw prints we asked for, which we would always be able to cherish. I would highly recommend LI Pet Cremation to everyone in need of a compassionate service for their beloved furry friend. This was a very hard time for my family and I to lose our beloved pet. It happened so quickly and late at night. We made the hard phone call and Chris was wonderful. He was so kind and caring on the phone. He came to our home that very night. He was so nice and wrapped our dog up with gentleness and kindness. Outstanding , absolutely 5 stars. My fur baby passed about a week ago today and I used Long Island Pet Cremation ... they were able to answer all my questions when I didn’t even know what to ask. I had never been through this before and appreciate the professionalism and respect for my pet. I was so upset when calling around and Chris was amazing on the phone as well as in the office, truly a professional. I picked up the ashes today in a beautiful cherry wood urn with a plaque that has my pets name engraved. I finally feel at ease having my pet back home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart .

A couple of weeks ago I had to put my little baby, Kitty, to sleep. Needless to say, it was a very difficult day when I took her to Long Island Pet Cremation. Yet it was so nice to be greeting by a caring, considerate animal lover, Chris, who manages Long Island Pet Cremation in Massapequa. He understood exactly how I felt and promised that he would take good care of her. The facility is a warm and calming place, the kind of comforting environment needed at times like this. Chris said they wanted to be sure it had the feel of a regular funeral home, but for beloved pets, and it does. I picked up Kitty's ashes today, and they came in a beautiful wooden box with her name on an engraving plate, and they cast her paw prints in a casting material to have as a keepsake. I want to say a big Thank You to Chris and the people at Long Island Pet Cremation for making a difficult time so much easier.

My boyfriends dog passed away early Sunday morning on August 20th. This was his first dog and was a sensitive and emotional loss. I reached out to Long Island pet cremation somewhere between 10 and 11 AM, and I spoke to a man named Anthony. I expressed the situation and the concern about having my animal picked up being that she was a large dog and I was trying to spare my boyfriend the agony of dragging his dog to a vet to be cremated as he was struggling with his emotions. I wanted to make it easy and make that part as painless as possible. I read the reviews that were posted on the website which sounded great and the fact that 24 hours a day/365 days per year guaranteed service was advertised, I trusted in it. After I spoke with him, I said I would just relay the details to my boyfriend. Be calling him back shortly. I tried to call back within an hour and I did not get any response. I assumed perhaps they were on a job, so I gave it a little time and called back again and again, and again my boyfriend called from his phone. I texted the number and we received absolutely no response. originally Anthony had told me that he could do the pick up between 2 to 5 PM and that it would cost $625 for everything. We were happy with paying that price and for the ability to stay in our home and grieve with our pet. I’m disappointed to say that I never got a callback at all and we had to carry this poor Animal out to the vet and put her into my boyfriends car. That’s what he had to do so that we didn’t have to have her sitting for hours in his house. I just can’t believe the level of unprofessionalism to not contact your client back with the sensitivity of this type of work and what you advertise on your site. I thought I was going to be able to help my boyfriend, and it was going to be some thing that was guaranteed and I didn’t even get a phone call back. Very poor for business. Hopefully I don’t get a indignant and defensive response back to this the way I saw the last response to the negative survey. The purpose of a negative survey is to show you something a reflection of what’s happening with your business, and quite honestly anybody that saying some thing did not satisfy them is because they are not satisfied. That deserves an apology not a defensive response. At a minimum we could’ve gotten a call back letting us know you could not help us Early enough so we could move forward but instead I was holding on waiting, and my boyfriend had to make an emotional decision to just go forward in his own way. I just don’t think that should have gone down like that. It’s upsetting and we got blown off. That’s the bottom line.

This review is over due. In April 2021, our beloved Penny went to heaven. The animal hospital wanted a decision right away of what our plans were. Like you knew to shop around for pet Creamation places. I spoke with the recommended pet cemetery and was not happy. I called Long Island Pet Crematorium and was greeted with a soft spoken young man who was caring and supportive during this time. I had questions, and made a couple of calls, and my questions were answered. We had to pick up Penny from the hospital asap. So we brought her directly to LI pet crematorium, where she was taken care of. Within 2 weeks we had her remains in a nice box with her name. Our experience was totally positive. I have 2 other dogs, and when it is their time to go to heaven, I know where to go.

I recently lost my female Goose (20 years old) which I had raised from a week old gosling. When I called L.I. Pet Cremation, I was treated with such compassion especially when we bought our beloved pet to his location. Chris of L.I. Pet Cremation was so respectful and understanding of our loss. He never made us feel strange because our pet wasn’t the norm...it was a goose.. We also purchased one of their beautiful urns. Our beloved pet was cremated and ready as promised. Excellent service.

After my 9 year old cat Kitty Girl passed away I was heartbroken and knew I wanted her individually cremated so I did some research and found these guys. When I came in, Chris was very sweet and gave me a moment to say goodbye. When I came back to get Kitty Girl’s ashes he had given me her paw print, ashes in a nice wooden box, and 2 personalized plaques(with one of them saying Kitty Girl aka Kitty B!tch, because that was her nickname when sassy). I highly recommend going to this business as they are very empathetic and make you feel important.

Chris definitely helped out when I needed help. My dog Yippie died after having seizures, three hours after going to the vet. The vet did everything they could. I'm an OTR truck driver and what Chris and Long Island Pet Creamation helped me and my family so much. They were flexible with picking her up after I got back into town and the service was amazing. I did not end up using this service because I decided on a burial for my beloved bird. However, I am writing this review because I was impressed with how patient the man was when he explained everything and what the price includes. The price was very reasonable and even lower than what my bird's veterinarian was asking. I would definitely contact Long Island Pet Cremation again if I am in need of this service.

So glad I found this place. My 9yr old Kitty Girl passed away too soon and I was looking for an individual cremation. This place does just that and they even give you paw prints, a nice wooden vessel to hold the ashes, and a personalized plaque. They were also very communicative and empathetic when I came in upset. Our sweet silly dog Zoey died peacefully at home. We had passed the office over the years and knew someone who had a good experience with them, even though you need them at such a sad time. Chris came to our home to pick up Zoey. He was very compassionate and helpful at that time and also when I had to pick up Zoey's remains. He made this sad time more bearable. They helped bring a lot of comfort and closure to what was a horrible situation. We were devestated putting our cat down. We brought her over ourselves from the vet after she passed and it was so comforting seeing how nice their location is and how empathetic they were. It felt like at least her last moments between being put down and cremated were with such dignity and grace. They have quite a few memorial options -- urns, keepsakes, Etc. They do not do the cremation on site but theres a certificate with the date and details from the facility that seems very nice and reputable. Based on how they handled everything on site I'm pretty confident in that assessment. The ashes came back faster than expected which helped us move forward with a sense of closure. Prices were reasonable too.

My cat KYO passed away on October 9th 2021...I called Chris and asked if I could bring him over cause I wanted him cremated....This was the 1st time I have ever done this...Chris was so helpful and we scheduled an appointment for that morning....Chris came out to my car and brought my boy in....He was so gentle with him....I must say he is so totally compassionate...you can just tell how much he cares for our 4 legged children....Chris is an awesome and a complete asset to Long Island Pet Cremation...Thank you Chris for all you do....🐾🐾

I don’t know if they’re out of business or what but I tried messaging on the website, calling, and emailing them on Sunday as well as called them a few different times on Monday (within their posted business hours) and left messages and still haven’t heard back. They advertise that they’re available 24/7 but that has not been my experience

It felt like at least her last moments between being put down and cremated were with such dignity and grace. They have quite a few memorial options -- urns, keepsakes, Etc. They do not do the cremation on site but theres a certificate with the date and details from the facility that seems very nice and reputable. Based on how they handled everything on site I'm pretty confident in that assessment. The ashes came back faster than expected which helped us move forward with a sense of closure. Prices were reasonable too.

Chris and his professionalism is top notch I wouldn't consider going anywhere else, (glad I googled for a place first) his place has a very nice ambience for you to go and say your last goodbye to your fur-baby. Very reasonable in price for the tough time to go youre going through!! Would recommend!!

My cat KYO passed away on October 9th 2021...I called Chris and asked if I could bring him over cause I wanted him cremated....This was the 1st time I have ever done this...Chris was so helpful and we scheduled an appointment for that morning....Chris came out to my car and brought my boy in....He was so gentle with him....I must say he is so totally compassionate...you can just tell how much he cares for our 4 legged children....Chris is an awesome and a complete asset to Long Island Pet Cremation...Thank you Chris for all you do....🐾🐾

I don’t know if they’re out of business or what but I tried messaging on the website, calling, and emailing them on Sunday as well as called them a few different times on Monday (within their posted business hours) and left messages and still haven’t heard back. They advertise that they’re available 24/7 but that has not been my experience
