They were kind & sweet to me even though Covid barriers were in place, I felt comforted & confident I would get my cat's ashes returned quickly.I have used the facilities multiple times in the past for large & small dogs, also.

Char Mac was amazing. I was bawling as I walked up to the door. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the young man that opened the door for me but he was very respectful and caring. The entire staff was compassionate through the whole process and the way they present the remains back to you is so lovely. Will definitely recommend them to anyone having to say goodbye to their furbaby.

Rob and Ryan were phenomenal. Rob went above and beyond recently for my girls cremation and assisting my sons and I, even my other dog who was my girls mom actually in seeing her one final time before her cremation.Highly recommend CharMac to anyone for care of a beloved pet for cremation!Picture of my girl who recently crossed the rainbow bridge!

Everyone was so nice and caring from the start of my first phone call to get information and help. They have such a caring staff and help in every way they can. There is no forced sales. Everyone wants what is best for you. They have all kinds of options here. Their show room for urns has everything you would want if that is the way you want to go. I really recommend that you talk to them. Their prices are very reasonable!

Over the years, we have used Char Mac after losing three different pets. Our most recent experience in January 2023 helped us through the grieving process by allowing us to have our baby girl with us always. We highly recommend Char Mac services for pet owners who have lost a beloved companion. They are very understanding and compassionate.

Char Mac has handled both of my pet cremations and will continue to handle my future ones as well. They made losing my best friend much easier.First and foremost, they were very comforting to my entire family in our loss and even before. We were struggling for a couple of weeks on when to make one of the most difficult decisions ever. We spoke with John multiple times over the course of the last month. He was very understanding and comforting each time we spoke.They picked up my pet from the vet. This sure was an amazing benefit as my entire family was very upset upon leaving the vet’s office and it wasn’t a car ride any of us wanted to make.They were able to pick him up within hours of his passing. Although the vet was very cooperative and willing to hold him for a couple of days, Char Mac went out of their way to pick him up within hours.They returned our pet back to us within a week. While we were not in a rush, it is good to have him back in the house with us.Lastly, the urn that our pet was returned to us in couldn’t have been better. It is perfect for his fur-ever resting place. It was beautiful with tons of detail and will make us smile each time we look at it.Thanks Char Mac for making one of the most difficult times in our lives a lot easier!

I haven't brought my Jazzy in yet, I will tomorrow morning. But I feel confident leaving this review based on how kind and compassionate they were over the phone today. I was so sick and lost and they made me feel at ease and explained our options in detail. I appreciate that kindness while I felt so distraught.

John, was so compassionate and understanding. He took our little man, Mic, just after we arrivedHe told us about what would happen next, gave us options of containers, and finalized the process quickly. He told us we could pick Mic back up in a week. He called us the following week and let us know we could come and get him. I have already told so many of our friends about CharMac. They are simply wonderful in a very painful time!

Upon entry to Char Mac I was immediately greeted by a lovely woman who took my cat's remains from me at the door. I requested to see her one last time which she agreed and said she would go to the back to start the paperwork. Upon re-entry, she took my girl and told me time and time again they would take great care of her and treat her with respect. She could tell I was visibly upset (understandable) and began asking about my other pets. We spent 20 or so minutes with this woman talking about my cat's life, my other animals, her animals and I left there feeling significantly better than when I walked in.Her hospitality and understanding nature alone will make me a return customer to Char Mac.Their price is significantly lower than doing end of life services through your vet. When I called around requesting costs, they all told me around $150.00 for private cremation with ash return. I later learned many of those vet clinics simply take the animals to Char Mac. I decide to go straight to the source and was charged $70.00 for cremating my fur baby.I will return here time and time again, and will certainly suggest Char Mac to others.

This place is really awesome. We have cremated a lot of pets here unfortunately, but they really add a sense of peace to the process. They do not ask a lot of questions in an already sensitive time, they don't mind if you are bawling your eyes out the whole time and provide plenty of tissues and they let you know they will take care of your baby while they are there. Prices are very competitive and they do pick up for a fee. If you can't afford an urn at the time they will specially package your pet until you can purchase one later.

Price was fair. Very understanding removed my beloved Izzy from the back of the car for my husband and and and I as neither had the heart to do it. Very sympathetic and understanding. This is our 4th time in 10 years, I tell everyone this is the place to go if you want your loved one treated like family.

I will never forget the kindness and compassion Karen from Char Mac showed our little Gordy. She was so gentle with him and treated him so respectfully. She was so caring about the loss of our beloved pet. I highly recommend them.

After 15 years of a companionship no other could provide, our Beloved 2.2lbs Chihuahua past. Our whole family was upset, I don't agree with burying pets in yards by the old oak tree because you don't live for ever and people move all the time. As said , ashes to ashes , dust to dust, . Our Monroe deserved better . We shopped for an urn that represented her personality and found a charming Victorian jar. We brought her in a purse she traveled in daily with us and Char Mac gave us a beautiful Monroe back. It was only $60 and I'm thankful because we are far from wealthy but we want to do the right thing. I'm writing this review because I had to come here to get the number again .Unfortunately, a puppy was given to my daughter at 16, a German spitz mittel , they are jumpers and very inquisitive. My daughter now 19 is away at college , we have 3 dogs, they all love each other so much, Leo , yesterday at 3pm jumped our deck gate and ran after a loose neighbors dog. He got hit by a car within only 30 seconds of jumping the gate. He had no fear of traffic because he's never been exposed to it. He's 3 yrs old and it killed him on impact. With out a 2nd thought I knew , he would run wild and free with Monroe. We will be going to Char Mac tomorrow. It is a very sad day here at home , my husband cried so much an he never cries. Leo was a sweet boy. I wouldn't take him to anyone else . Only Char Mac offers extras but allows you to bring your own personal container without charging outrageous prices . It's not fair to kick us while we are down.

I'm so upset I didnt grab the man's name who helped me today. When I walked in I overheard a woman who unfortunately was only able to afford the mass cremation option but very much so wanted to bring her baby home. I know there was a reason I walked in when I did so I covered the rest so she could bring her baby home and the man who helped me was so gentle, and caring. Not just to me but to each and every person that came in there. He was so attentive and respectful. I was a sobbing mess and he handled it beautifully. You dont understand how hard their jobs there must be and his heart is very clearly in it. He was so gentle when taking our old man and you could see in his eyes just how much he understood and cared. It made it so much better for us. I would've paid whatever they wanted just for him to have that look at the end showing me he cared just as much. I've never written a review in my life but this time it just called for it. As much as I hope to never reccomend I will always, always, always reccomend this place.

Make sure you have your pet professionally groomed before you bring it to this place or you will be judged by the condescending old blond hag that is the receptionist. My brother was murdered this week and my little dog died. She pointed out that my dog had fleas. She was 19 and could not take flea meds-I gave them to her anyway and I probably killed her. I did not need to be made feel bad-as I was sobbing and trying to explain. Totally unprofessional and no sympathy or empathy. She is a heartless ghoul and should NEVER be allowed around people who are grieving.

Reasonable rates. Quick turnaround. These people actually take your feelings into consideration while doing business with you. They have a nice selection of urns for sale. I wish I had known about them sooner with my other two dogs.

I have had several pets cremated though Char MacThey have always been helpfully, and give empathy over the death of your pet. Right now I have myMin Pin there who just passed away Bruiser. They're not costly they do a very good job and I would recommend them

Very quick and fair priced service. Dropped my girl off Tuesday afternoon and picked her up Friday morning. Staff was very caring and sympathetic and treated Roxy with respect even after she was gone. Highly recommend.

I've lost two cats in the space of 4 months this year. The second one was euthanized by our vet who uses this place. I don't understand why it takes TWO WEEKS to get the cremains returned. Not only that, but I paid a craftsman to make a custom companion urn to the cat who passed in January (and had been cremated at a different location.) What I received from Char Mac was a sealed box that has no way of fitting inside my custom urn. My previous cat's cremains were in a wooden box as well, but they were enclosed inside a bag. I have no way of knowing if the cremains are loose inside this urn or if it is possible to transfer them. When I try to reach them by phone, they have left it off the hook. They do not have effective contact information on their "website", and I am left frustrated and without closure - which I've already waited two weeks for. I'm left with no options, and can't reach these people.

Had a great experience after our 2 year old cat passed away. The owner is very kind and does a fantastic job making sure your pet is respected & cared for. I would highly recommend CharMac! ❤️

Gotta say, in our devastating ordeal. These ppl provided prompt economical AND.. BEAUTIFUL RESULTS! The vessel is gorgeous. The personal attention. Our Nuzzie baby was properly respected & I couldn't ask for better service! Thank you. Very simple & easy with Compassion shown.

My cat passed away on 9/3/2019 and we had him cremated here and the woman who we talked to sorry i didn't get her name but this lady was so caring and sweet and supportive she handled tje situation with so much love and compassion i would recommend char mac thank you for going above and beyond in handling my furbaby
