Our beloved dog Lumpy passed away unexpectedly last weekend. From the moment we called Forever Friends, we were met with kindness, compassion, and respect. The gentleman who came to pick her up handled everything with such care, and Michelle was incredibly kind throughout the process.When we picked her up, we could feel how well she had been treated. It was clear they truly cared for her, and that brought us so much peace during a very difficult time. The last week of November 2024 I put my childhood pitbull to sleep. For insight I had her for 9 years I rescued her from a shelter when she was 3 and I was 11 I am now 20. I have been to many family funerals including 3 of my grandparents never once have I cried until the day I put my childhood dog to rest I drove 2 hours home disoriented heart broken and over all in shock I couldn’t deal with the grief and loss of my friend. By the time I made it home I received a call from forever friends the women went over the plans with me step by step I remember apologizing multiple times because I kept getting lost in my own thoughts but she remained patient and kind through the entire process and made every step easy. I received my sweet Penelope back on December 3rd with a lock of her fur, clay paw print and a beautiful brown stained wood box with her name and a paw print engraved into the front. Though I miss my sweet girl dearly forever friends made the process a lot easier on me and very affordable. I can’t thank the team enough for giving me a way to grieve and hold onto my sweet girl I still have my days but what they gave me makes it a little easier as time goes on.

(UPDATE) I'VE ADDED THE PERMANENT HEART URN IN THE PICTURES. IT'S BEAUTIFUL! This place and all of the workers here are wonderful. They treated my fur baby, Gizmo, wonderfully after she passed away and returned her ashes to me the next day after they picked her up at our vet. They placed her ashes in a beautiful temporary urn until I receive the one I ordered, and they also gave me a plaque with her paw prints, a lock of hair, and a beautiful scripture with a rainbow on it. I will always recommend this place to everyone. I will update this review with pictures when I receive the permanent urn. ☺️

The memorial package is so beautiful. My baby’s urn is sitting right next to my bed. The staff is so kind and I didn’t feel judged when I started crying. I also love the bag it all came in, the rainbow bridge poem, and the letter they left saying they donate to a local animal organization in honor of your pet! It’s all so beautiful. Thank you so much for everything♥️

Our experience with "Forever Friends" has been excellent. I wish I could give them more stars than just five. We’re far from home here in Columbus. For the past six years my wife worked as a travel nurse and we moved from city to city every three to six months, crossing the country several times, finally landing in Columbus a year ago for family reasons. Our pup Reese was nine when we started, a reluctant traveler who never took to driving but always game for new adventures - his first was mastering stairs - an obstacle he’d never encountered at our desert home in Arizona. In those six years he walked with us along beaches in Monterrey, Big Sur, Santa Monica, south Florida and the rocky coasts of northern Maine; tramped through the redwoods in California, the forests of New Hampshire, Vermont, eastern North Carolina and the ponderosa high country of Arizona; we explored the Canyonlands of southern Utah, the Mojave desert in Nevada; strolled the empty streets of LA during Covid, and swam in the Colorado below the great dams. He was a constant companion, a comforting presence, a big joyful personality in a little dog.He started slowing down a little over a year ago. His eyes grew cloudy and his energy waned. His interest in walking declined and more and more of his days were spent sleeping. Steroids helped after he was diagnosed with lymphoma but that too was temporary. Soon his appetite soured and he could no longer keep his food down. On Christmas Eve we made the decision.We’ve always lived on remote properties with acreage. Our country vet would come to the house if necessary and when our companions passed we’d lay them to rest under the shade of a mesquite or palo verde. In Columbus, we had no place for Reese and that thought broke my heart. We'll be forever grateful for "Forever Friends" for providing us an alternative.It was through our wonderful vet's office CityPets614, that we learned of “Forever Friends”. They cared for and prepared the remains of our pup. A representative from Forever Friends called shortly after we left the vet’s and gently explained the process and asked what our wishes were for the remains. She was patient and respectful. We appreciated that. They kept us informed throughout. In early January, a very nice young man, who was both kind and pleasant to speak with, delivered Reese’s ashes in a beautiful wooden box with his name carved on the side; a plaster print of his paw with his name and a clip of his fur on a card with a poem. Forever Friends even donated to a pet charity in Reese’s name. Like I said at the beginning, five stars is not enough to express how appreciative we are of this business.Jim Barnett

I had to send my sweet 15 yr old kitty, Elsa Lu (Lulu), across the rainbow bridge last week. My vet told me about Forever Friends, and they picked her up at my vet's, and contacted me the next day. Chris was so nice on the phone, making arrgmts. The transportation specialist (I forget her name, sorry) was very nice, delivering Lulu back to me today, in a beautiful hardwood grained box, engraved exactly as I requested. An ornament stamped w her pawprint and name was included, as well as some of her fur w a Rainbow Bridge poem. I thought I had finished crying over her, but everything was so lovely, and a wonderful tribute for my baby, I had another cry. She slept by my side most nights, and I miss her so much. Thank you for helping me work through my loss. You have a wonderful service.

We had to put our best friend Darwin down at the young age of 3 and a half after over a year of treatment his seizures became worse and we had to make the awful decision to end this losing battle for his sake. Forever Friends made the process of taking care of Darwin so easy. They put us at ease and their compassionate pricing is on a whole other level. The package that we received today was way more than expected and I would've paid double for this The delivery man also was amazing and so empathetic that I wanted to hug him but thought that might be weird. There are countless wonderful things I could say about Forever Friends, but I think this moment captures it best. We worked with Molly (if I remember correctly), and when we left, my mom, who works in healthcare, turned to me and said, "I hope I’m as good with my patients and their families as she was."Also, my Mowgli was mostly black with a tiny white patch on her chest, and they even thought to give us a small amount of the white hair too. My 9 year old Rottweiler Brystol was suffering and after finally making the hard decision to euthanize her, Furever Friends answered the phone at 9PM on a Friday night to discuss our options. She was euthanized at 10am the next day and at 11am they arrived at my home to pick up her body. They were so gentile and caring and compassionate. After she left, I called and made a special request for a nose and paw print. They made sure it was completed before the cremation. A few days later they personally delivered her back to us with EXTRA prints and it was all so perfect and beautiful. I still can’t believe how organized, understanding, outstanding and compassionate this company is.

We lost our 14 year old dog just after Christmas. Our vet previously had a relationship with a local funeral home that also did pet cremations. When our previous dog passed we used the prior service, but this time our vet had a relationship with Forever Friends. They made the process calm and worry free, and called me to explain all the options. They then deliver our dog's ashes in a biodegradable container that we can bury and his ashes will eventually return to the earth.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It was so hard losing my cat off over 16 years. Everyone I spoke with was so kind and helpful. The personalized urn we received is beautiful, and we just love the paw print and lock of fur. They made this difficult time a little easier.

Extremely kind and compassionate. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was incredibly nice and helped me navigate their website and discussed options with me. The gentleman that delivered my dog’s ashes and paw print handled her remains with extreme care and respect and he offered words of sympathy. I lost my 21 year old car, Atticus, last Saturday. I knew we were probably getting close, but I thought we had more time. It became evident that evening that we couldn't wait any longer, and I was a mess. My BIL recommended Furever Friends and I cannot express how perfect they were. When I lost my cats sister, I had to take her home for a night before I could find a crematory to handle her remains. FF was able to pick Atticus up for me and I was so grateful for that alone. Since I hadn't used a similar service before, I started to get a little paranoid that he would be lost somehow, but they checked in with me the next day and the very first thing the lovely woman did was to let me know they had him in their care, almost like she knew somehow that I needed to know that. She was so professional and kind making arrangements during that call. When Bob brought me his remains today, I was really touched by how he carried them, almost like he was holding a live cat. The paw print they gave me is so lovely and you can tell they take a lot of care with it. I was very happy with their service, but when I opened the envelope to see his fur clipping I lost it. My cat was 99% black, with a small white patch on his neck, which had gotten smaller with age. I expected to receive black hair clippings, but they decided to take a patch which included the white patch. This small patch was the source of so many of his nicknames; I used to dye it pink sometimes when he was young. It is something that defined him somehow, and the fact that they knew to save this blew me away. It isn't even just that they provide a great service for less than anywhere else I have ever seen, but they really seem to care about this job and their clients. The fact that they only have 5☆ reviews doesn't surprise me, and I will recommend them forever.

My wife and I unexpectedly lost our 12-year-old Archie two days ago. Forever Friends was absolutely wonderful when it came to our requests and the service they provided. If I could give Forever Friends 100 stars, I would. Chris was so nice and patient with us after my guinea pig, Darwin, unexpectedly passed away. For the experience and what I received back with my Darwin, the price is great! They are so respectful and thoughtful. I love that they donated to a local animal charity in memory of him, and I am able to post a tribute on their website, which is so easy to do. I completely understand all of the raving five star reviews. This company is extremely compassionate and pet centered. It was a great experience during a very tough time. They called and spoke with me directly to assure that my order was correct. I appreciated the time they took to assure that everything was correct. The staff is amazing! They truly care about what they do and families they they help. When they initially called they asked about my furbaby. They are understanding and patient during such a hard time. They called me on Sunday and I was hand delivered our pets ashes on Wednesday. I had my Cali for 18 years and this loss has been devastating. When I made the decision to have her remains returned to me I had no idea what a comfort choosing Forever Friends would be. Everyone I spoke with was so unbelievably kind, empathetic and genuine. Cali's urn is absolutely beautiful. Forever Friends also did a wonderful job capturing her sweet little paw prints in clay. Forever friends helped us the night we lost our sweet puppy of 11 years. They were in constant contact with us, picked up our girl from our home after hours and followed up immediately the next day. We lost her on Sunday and we had her back home with us on Tuesday. We sent her with her favorite blanket the night she passed and they were kind enough to save it and return it to us even though we hadn’t asked. I cannot put into words the compassion I felt from each member of the staff we came in contact with and I will be forever grateful that they were the ones to care for our Mina girl.

Loosing my Boots was much harder than I ever thought possible. When I received the call to make the arrangements, the gentleman was very supportive and helped me through everything. I didn't know what I wanted but didn't feel any type of pressure to buy anything I didn't need. They did an absolutely fantastic job with him! I had him back within two days (he passed on a Sunday so that messed with the timing). They brought him to my house in a nice velvet bag. The gentleman who delivered him showed great respect. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone that wants the best for their furbaby. You can tell that it isn't just a job but a compassion to help pet parents through a terrible time.

I just received my cats ashes today and I extremely pleased. They put him in a beautiful wooden box with lovely engraving. I also received his paw print and piece of fur which was so sentimental to me. The service was wonderful. They picked up my baby at the vet and returned him to me within a few short days. They are the most reasonably priced company around. If I should ever lose another pet in the future I would not hesitate to use this place again.

Losing my Zoey was a very profound loss and Forever Friends was there in every way in such a difficult time. Even though it was late in the evening, they offered to come pick her up from Medvet in Worthington. My husband and I chose to drive her to Forever Friends and we were greeted by Cameron who was very kind and compassionate. We were first taken to a room where we were offered to visit as long as we wanted, and then we went to a separate room to go over what aftercare we wanted. Our Zoey was hand delivered to our home within 48 hours with a beautiful urn, hair clippings and a clay paw print. I have no doubt that the ashes I received back are of my sweet Zoey. I will always recommend Forever Friends for their exceptional service in such a difficult time.

Excellent, fast, exceptional, amazing, caring, and superior service are what this business is about. My cat Sophia passed away on September 5th 2022, which happened to be Labor Day. They immediately answered my call, got me in there within an hour, and I picked up Sophia today on the 6th. Chris helped me out in this time of need. I called upset and he was very caring, understanding, and helpful. The entire experience was very professional yet personal. Forever Friends truly showed how much they care for our little fur babies. Our beloved puppy had a tragic, fatal accident playing with her older and exponentially larger sibling. We were hysterical with immeasurable grief, never having lost a young pet because all of our four-legged babies have lived (are living) well into their expected life span. We brought her here on recommendation from the vet, praise on social media, and the many 5* Google reviews. Unfortunately, we did not receive the level of care or compassion that has been mentioned in majority of reviews. In fact, the atmosphere was so cold, my mom asked if I was sure the place was legit, and if I was certain we arrived at the right place. I submitted a request online due to some clarity needed on the services/packages. The return phone call was prompt, and we were able to take her there in person. We were immediately led to a room where we thought we would have time to mourn, but NO. Instead, we were told to leave the box on the viewing pedestal, and told to follow to the front room to first discuss business that I had already expressed what our wishes were in my online inquiry and confirmed in a phone call. We brought our baby in her box to the front room and held it tight. Clearly we were in a distraught mental state, and never once did the guy offer any ounce of compassion or condolences. From the time we entered to the time we exited, not even a simple, "I'm sorry for your loss." After picking out the memorial items and submitting payment, only then were we offered time to sit in the room and grieve to say our final goodbyes. When we returned a week later to claim her remains, we were told that there was a misunderstanding and they only got the 1 pawprint, when clearly the instructions in our order were to have 2 side by side pawprints, because our puppy was only 2.4lbs and her paws the size of large thumbs. Not only did they screw that up, but when he offered to call and notify our vet, the guy deliberately lied, and said our puppy had been euthanized at the ER. How would he know the cause of death when he never had a conversation with us other than what urn we wanted, confirm our order, and to collect payment? We were never asked a cause of death, nor did we openly share one. Per our discharge paperwork at the ER, our puppy had arrived already deceased. She was perfectly healthy, beautiful, full of life, and taken from us too soon from a tragic accident. Talk about adding salt to our still raw wounds!!!The only positives of this place are the wide selection of urns and memorabilia, and the pawprint ornament, which they screwed up for us. We regret choosing Forever Friends, and will never again return for their services. Our local funeral home that we used in the past has exponentially better more compassionate service, with an intimate setting at a fraction of the cost.

From helping me navigate the choices on the website, to picking up my pet at the veterinarian's practice, to delivering the remains to me the next day.....everything was handled in a very caring and dignified way. We had to put our best friend Darwin down at the young age of 3 and a half after over a year of treatment his seizures became worse and we had to make the awful decision to end this losing battle for his sake. My 9 year old Rottweiler Brystol was suffering and after finally making the hard decision to euthanize her, Furever Friends answered the phone at 9PM on a Friday night to discuss our options. She was euthanized at 10am the next day and at 11am they arrived at my home to pick up her body. They were so gentile and caring and compassionate. After she left, I called and made a special request for a nose and paw print. They made sure it was completed before the cremation. A few days later they personally delivered her back to us with EXTRA prints and it was all so perfect and beautiful. I still can’t believe how organized, understanding, outstanding and compassionate this company is.

We lost our 14 year old dog just after Christmas. Our vet previously had a relationship with a local funeral home that also did pet cremations. When our previous dog passed we used the prior service, but this time our vet had a relationship with Forever Friends. They made the process calm and worry free, and called me to explain all the options. They then deliver our dog's ashes in a biodegradable container that we can bury and his ashes will eventually return to the earth.

I lost my 21 year old car, Atticus, last Saturday. I knew we were probably getting close, but I thought we had more time. It became evident that evening that we couldn't wait any longer, and I was a mess. My BIL recommended Furever Friends and I cannot express how perfect they were. When I lost my cats sister, I had to take her home for a night before I could find a crematory to handle her remains. FF was able to pick Atticus up for me and I was so grateful for that alone. Since I hadn't used a similar service before, I started to get a little paranoid that he would be lost somehow, but they checked in with me the next day and the very first thing the lovely woman did was to let me know they had him in their care, almost like she knew somehow that I needed to know that. She was so professional and kind making arrangements during that call. When Bob brought me his remains today, I was really touched by how he carried them, almost like he was holding a live cat. The paw print they gave me is so lovely and you can tell they take a lot of care with it. I was very happy with their service, but when I opened the envelope to see his fur clipping I lost it. My cat was 99% black, with a small white patch on his neck, which had gotten smaller with age. I expected to receive black hair clippings, but they decided to take a patch which included the white patch. This small patch was the source of so many of his nicknames; I used to dye it pink sometimes when he was young. It is something that defined him somehow, and the fact that they knew to save this blew me away. It isn't even just that they provide a great service for less than anywhere else I have ever seen, but they really seem to care about this job and their clients. The fact that they only have 5☆ reviews doesn't surprise me, and I will recommend them forever.

If I could give Forever Friends 100 stars, I would. Chris was so nice and patient with us after my guinea pig, Darwin, unexpectedly passed away. I had such an amazing experience. Our family pet(Brownie) had passed away and calling to make arrangements was quick and easy. I didn't have to wait to bring my cat in. The staff(Chris and Cameron) were amazing. They treated my cat as their own and guided me through each step of the way. I was completely comfortable with leaving my Brownie with them. What a wonderful service! Chris was so compassionate and responsive! The night before traveling out of state, I had an unexpected death of my pet bird. My mother read a review from our Neighborhood Nextdoor and recommended I call. I decided to leave Forever Friends a voicemail with info on how to contact my parents since I would be gone. I was pleasantly surprised when Chris answered the phone, on a Saturday night at 9pm. We had a comforting discussion and I was able to take my pet in that night which greatly lessened an already stressful situation. My Shih Tzu Bandit was 14 yrs old when I made the decision to help him reach the Rainbow Bridge. He was blind, deaf, suffered with chronic dry eye and recently Glaucoma set in. On top of all that he had many tumors that started to surface on his belly. It was time, he was in pain and he was tired. My vet recommended Forever Friends to me for Bandits cremation. I called Chris, the owner, and pre-arranged what I wanted to do with Bandit. When they delivered those cremains to me yesterday I cried all over again. Not only did his Urn have beautiful engraving of his name, dates and the saying "Hush Little Baby" (a song he loved to hear, before he lost his hearing), I also got a paw print in plaster and locks of his hair (all three colors), attached to a card with beautiful words about the Rainbow Bridge. They put all this in a black bag with the wording embroidered on the outside saying, "Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge". I am forever grateful to them for how much respect they showed to my boy and how much empathy they showed me during this hard time. Forever friends helped us the night we lost our sweet puppy of 11 years. They were in constant contact with us, picked up our girl from our home after hours and followed up immediately the next day. Loosing my Boots was much harder than I ever thought possible. When I received the call to make the arrangements, the gentleman was very supportive and helped me through everything. I didn't know what I wanted but didn't feel any type of pressure to buy anything I didn't need. They did an absolutely fantastic job with him! I had him back within two days (he passed on a Sunday so that messed with the timing). They brought him to my house in a nice velvet bag. The gentleman who delivered him showed great respect. We came across Forever Friends because Jenny passed away at home late on a Sunday night. She was very large and I couldn't carry her myself. They arrived within an hour and gave her the best treatment I have ever seen. By Tuesday morning she was back home - they brought her back. Her box was in a gorgeous blue velvet bag. I just received my cats ashes today and I extremely pleased. They put him in a beautiful wooden box with lovely engraving. I also received his paw print and piece of fur which was so sentimental to me. The service was wonderful. They picked up my baby at the vet and returned him to me within a few short days. Losing my Zoey was a very profound loss and Forever Friends was there in every way in such a difficult time. Even though it was late in the evening, they offered to come pick her up from Medvet in Worthington. My husband and I chose to drive her to Forever Friends and we were greeted by Cameron who was very kind and compassionate. We were first taken to a room where we were offered to visit as long as we wanted, and then we went to a separate room to go over what aftercare we wanted. I lost my fur baby and called around to many places for pricing. Forever friends is the only place that asked my pets name. May seem small but to me it showed they cared. I spoke with Chris the next day and made arrangements and they delivered my baby back to my home the very next day in a beautiful engraved box along with her paw print and a lock of her fur. My dog Bo, who was a son to me passed away almost 6 months ago. It's taken me this long to write a review because I've known this would be hard for me. He passed away suddenly from old age. I was (& still am) heartbroken. My boyfriend called Forever Friends & they said we were welcome to bring him (it was after hours). Even though I was distraught, I felt a sense of peace the moment I walked through their door. The atmosphere was very calming & the owner was incredibly friendly. He took the time to tell us how sorry he was for our loss & asked if we needed anything. He never rushed us. He let us say our goodbyes to Bo & told us to take all the time we needed. After I decided on an urn for Bo he asked what I wanted inscribed on it. I was too upset to decide at the time, because I wanted something perfect. He told me to take my time. Of course I wanted Bo back with me, but I knew that wasn't possible, but it made me feel better knowing he was going to be well taken care of. Later, I e-mailed him what I wanted inscribed on the urn & my boyfriend picked everything up later that week. To my amazement he actually inscribed 2 urns to make sure the layout was exactly how I wanted it to be. I was blown away by their customer service. I know they care. Losing Bo has been one of the hardest things I ever went through, but the peace they brought me is incomparable. I would recommend Forever Friends to everyone. They will take care of your pet & your family & they are definitely affordable. I can't even begin to describe how grateful I am for them & the care they gave to Bo & our family.

I highly recommend Forever Friends. Mr. Chris Lowe is who helped our family, he was very kind, understanding, compassionate & patient. They came & picked our girl up within an hour of calling Saturday, kept us informed on the process but didn’t rush us on our decisions. They dropped her off today in a beautiful engraved box with fur clippings, a paw print & certificate all inside a lovely bag. I just lost my sweet old 16 year old pup, Bella, after going into liver failure. I had such an amazing experience. Our family pet(Brownie) had passed away and calling to make arrangements was quick and easy. I didn't have to wait to bring my cat in. The staff(Chris and Cameron) were amazing. They treated my cat as their own and guided me through each step of the way. I was completely comfortable with leaving my Brownie with them. What a wonderful service! Chris was so compassionate and responsive! The night before traveling out of state, I had an unexpected death of my pet bird. My mother read a review from our Neighborhood Nextdoor and recommended I call. I decided to leave Forever Friends a voicemail with info on how to contact my parents since I would be gone. I was pleasantly surprised when Chris answered the phone, on a Saturday night at 9pm. We had a comforting discussion and I was able to take my pet in that night which greatly lessened an already stressful situation. Chris was helpful from start to finish; assisting with the urn selection, working with my travel schedule, and finally, bringing my pet home at completion. My Shih Tzu Bandit was 14 yrs old when I made the decision to help him reach the Rainbow Bridge. He was blind, deaf, suffered with chronic dry eye and recently Glaucoma set in. On top of all that he had many tumors that started to surface on his belly. It was time, he was in pain and he was tired. My vet recommended Forever Friends to me for Bandits cremation. I called Chris, the owner, and pre-arranged what I wanted to do with Bandit. When they delivered those cremains to me yesterday I cried all over again. Not only did his Urn have beautiful engraving of his name, dates and the saying "Hush Little Baby" (a song he loved to hear, before he lost his hearing), I also got a paw print in plaster and locks of his hair (all three colors), attached to a card with beautiful words about the Rainbow Bridge. They put all this in a black bag with the wording embroidered on the outside saying, "Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge". I am forever grateful to them for how much respect they showed to my boy and how much empathy they showed me during this hard time. I lost my sweet Pippi last week and within a day Forever Friends had contacted me to make final arrangements. (Thank you Fairfield Pet Hospital for being a partner). I have taken a very long time to write this since it seemed like the end of the passing of Sandy, and I didn't want it to end. But I drove down Roberts the other day and thought I need to get this done. It has been so long, June 9, 2022,I forget the name of the man who helped us, but he was terrific. He had the right combination of expertise, kindness and sensitivity to what we wanted. We asked for a tour, which I guess is rare, but it gave you more confidence. After covering the pets with white sheets, they brought us back to the crematoria. It was a huge black box with lots of doors. Clearly your pet and only your pet is cremated here.The two owners worked together in the funeral business in Dayton. They always wanted to go into business together. They came up with Forever Friends and just built the business themselves with common sense. It's not a franchise. They are not following anyone else's playbook. They figured it out themselves and are always trying to get it better. I think we are lucky to have them in Columbus!

Chris couldn't have been more compassionate, caring & kind. The building is welcoming, restful and modern. We had time to spend with our pet even though it was a Sunday when she passed away. Everything was handled exactly as if we were making arrangements for a human. When we came back the next day to pick our pet's cremains up, they were in a lovely cedar urn with her name and dates on it & that was in a velvet bag with the company logo on it. I can't recommend this company highly enough. We will never use another service. They are all pet people so understand how difficult the loss of a beloved pet can be. They are simply the best.

My niece's dog passed away at home this past Thursday evening. We didn't know what to do or who to call. My great niece did a Google search and found Forever Friends, so we called them. From the first call, we were treated with kindness and compassion. They answer their phone 24/7, unlike other pet cremation services in the area. They can come to pick up the pet's remains, and when they are finished, will deliver them back to you. It's all part of the wonderful service they provide. Chris and the people there are very wonderfull. I knew my oldest cat Butchy was on borrowed time after after a lymphoma diagnosis and I planned with them right away. We came across Forever Friends because Jenny passed away at home late on a Sunday night. She was very large and I couldn't carry her myself. They arrived within an hour and gave her the best treatment I have ever seen. By Tuesday morning she was back home - they brought her back. Her box was in a gorgeous blue velvet bag. Today my family had lost a family dog that had been with my husband 14 years. It was very hard. I found this place while looking online for what do I didn't want my husband to see daisy as she had been hit by a car. Chris was amazing we were in great hands. He made everything so easy it wasn't what I had expected. I feel this place of business if different in away that you can tell they truly care its not just a business to them I feel they have a really big heart and that alone makes this place a 10 star. Forever Friends really came through for us when our pet unexpectedly passed away at home. I submitted for an immediate pickup service using the online form on their website, I got a call about 10 minutes later to confirm things, and they had someone come by to collect in an hour. Very professional and sympathetic and no pushy upselling on anything at any point. They delivered our guy back to us in his urn the next day, along with some nice extras. I would rate this company 10+ Stars if I could. Chris the owner and his team are life savers. Our family unfortunately lost our 6yr old golden retriever one evening after he ran off and was a struck by a car. The body was lying on the side of the road and I had no idea what to do. It was late in the evening when we recovered his body and I did not want to bring his body back to our house. I called forever friends and chris answered the call around 10pm. He personally showed up to the scene and recovered the body. He took the time to drive the dog back to our house and allowed our family to pay our respects to our beloved family pet. I could not ask for a more personal, comforting experience at a time when our family was still in shock from this experience. I would recommend forever friends to any pet owner that wants a personal, comforting experience. The owner was so kind and professional throughout the entire experience. The very next day Chris dropped off Boomers ashes, paw prints and other items so we could have closure. I do not know what I would have done without Chris, and the fact he made the whole experience so peaceful was amazing.

This place is phenomenal. I've never seen anything done like this before! I truly like the UNIQUE approach that Forever Friends takes in this industry. I have worked in the pet cremation field and it takes a special breed of person to do that line of work. I am that person. I had a bad experience with another pet cremation service not only with employment with them but in turn that made me not trust them in the future with any of my pets. I didn't say anything about it to this place and just watched. They did everything perfectly. It's like having a funeral service for a human. It's really cool! Peaceful, quiet and very comforting. Clean, neat, organized and modern. The whole process took less than 30 minutes and then some time with my beloved rescued 5 week old baby girl before the deed. They even met me there (when I didn't know the physical office had closed at 1pm) to take her in because she had passed the night before when everyone was closed for the day! She was delivered back to me looking GREAT, very professionally and it is SO sweet how they put them in the urn (premium service). BLESS YOU ALL for everything you do everyday!! Not an easy job but it is extremely fulfilling. And they live up to their promise of "available 24 hours"! I will be bringing the rest of my furdren here in the future. THANK YOU SO MUCH, I will never forget this. ❤️

Truly wonderful people! I lost my goat last week and those who work at Forever Friends could not have been more wonderful. They came on an icy, cold morning and were kind and respectful. I have taken a very long time to write this since it seemed like the end of the passing of Sandy, and I didn't want it to end. But I drove down Roberts the other day and thought I need to get this done. It has been so long, June 9, 2022,I forget the name of the man who helped us, but he was terrific. He had the right combination of expertise, kindness and sensitivity to what we wanted. We asked for a tour, which I guess is rare, but it gave you more confidence. After covering the pets with white sheets, they brought us back to the crematoria. It was a huge black box with lots of doors. Clearly your pet and only your pet is cremated here.The two owners worked together in the funeral business in Dayton. They always wanted to go into business together. They came up with Forever Friends and just built the business themselves with common sense. It's not a franchise. They are not following anyone else's playbook. They figured it out themselves and are always trying to get it better. I think we are lucky to have them in Columbus!

Chris couldn't have been more compassionate, caring & kind. The building is welcoming, restful and modern. We had time to spend with our pet even though it was a Sunday when she passed away. Everything was handled exactly as if we were making arrangements for a human. When we came back the next day to pick our pet's cremains up, they were in a lovely cedar urn with her name and dates on it & that was in a velvet bag with the company logo on it. I can't recommend this company highly enough. We will never use another service. They are all pet people so understand how difficult the loss of a beloved pet can be. They are simply the best.

My niece's dog passed away at home this past Thursday evening. We didn't know what to do or who to call. My great niece did a Google search and found Forever Friends, so we called them. From the first call, we were treated with kindness and compassion. They answer their phone 24/7, unlike other pet cremation services in the area. They can come to pick up the pet's remains, and when they are finished, will deliver them back to you. It's all part of the wonderful service they provide. Chris and the people there are very wonderfull. I knew my oldest cat Butchy was on borrowed time after after a lymphoma diagnosis and I planned with them right away. Today my family had lost a family dog that had been with my husband 14 years. It was very hard. I found this place while looking online for what do I didn't want my husband to see daisy as she had been hit by a car. Chris was amazing we were in great hands. Forever Friends really came through for us when our pet unexpectedly passed away at home. I submitted for an immediate pickup service using the online form on their website, I got a call about 10 minutes later to confirm things, and they had someone come by to collect in an hour. Very professional and sympathetic and no pushy upselling on anything at any point. They delivered our guy back to us in his urn the next day, along with some nice extras. Would 100% recommend to anyone who asks, especially in the context of a sudden passing.

Unfortunately our little buddy was taken from us abruptly, leaving us devastated and at a loss for what to do. I would rate this company 10+ Stars if I could. Chris the owner and his team are life savers. Our family unfortunately lost our 6yr old golden retriever one evening after he ran off and was a struck by a car. The body was lying on the side of the road and I had no idea what to do. It was late in the evening when we recovered his body and I did not want to bring his body back to our house. I called forever friends and chris answered the call around 10pm. He personally showed up to the scene and recovered the body. He took the time to drive the dog back to our house and allowed our family to pay our respects to our beloved family pet. I could not ask for a more personal, comforting experience at a time when our family was still in shock from this experience. I would recommend forever friends to any pet owner that wants a personal, comforting experience. The owner was so kind and professional throughout the entire experience. The very next day Chris dropped off Boomers ashes, paw prints and other items so we could have closure. I do not know what I would have done without Chris, and the fact he made the whole experience so peaceful was amazing.

They are taking care of my Mimi. God this is the worse pain I ever had to endure. Someone showed up at the time they said they would and handled my baby with care and were sincere about the whole situation. I will miss her and she will always be in my heart

We used Forever Friends because the owner(s) live in our neighborhood. By the time we called them, the vet was closed for the day, but by the next afternoon they delivered the urn containing our pet's ashes used for scattering. Highly recommended.
