The staff are extraordinarily caring and sensitive. We always feel like we are properly honoring our pets who are such a huge part of our lives. Our beagle Gus passed on July 24. Leona Schmauchs was absolutely wonderful and helped us tremendously. We lost our sweet Roxi girl on 11/13 and our hearts were completely shattered. Leona was so patient and kind. My husband picked up our sweet Roxi girl's ashes on 11/19 and the urn box and keepsakes were so beautifully made. I was so full of emotion and felt so grateful for the quality of care Roxi received after she crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾💜

We have been very pleased with Shoedinger’s pet cremation services. They have handled the remains of three of our beloved pets over the years. They keep to promised timelines, and are easy to communicate with. But most of all, the service is dignified and compassionate.

I showed up to their office downtown in tears after my bearded dragon passed away, and they were so beyond kind to me. The prices are affordable, especially as a college student, and the keepsakes I received made me cry all over again. They treated my pet with such respect and care, even though he wasn’t a traditional dog or cat. I cannot recommend them enough.

We've had two other of our dogs cremated with other providers, but Schoedinger was the best experience hands down. Everyone I talked to was so kind and understanding. They treated us like our girl was more than just a dog, like she was our family, which she was. She was taken directly to Schoedinger from OSU Vet because we had an autopsy done, and that was their cremation provider. I'm so glad they did because we wouldn't have known about this place otherwise. The Facebook pet memorial page is wonderful, where you can submit a tribute story for your furbaby. The nameplate is such a sweet thought that is complimentary with every cremation. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff and services offered at Schoedinger Pet are wonderful. I've had two of my babies taken care by them. I couldn't thank them enough for all of the support. Wendy at Shoedinger downtown was so helpful and supportive. I opted for a same-day and witnessed cremation as I couldn't stand the thought of my baby laying there waiting for upwards of 10 days. I am so happy they practice one pet at a time as their standard practice. My Zeusy passed on the OR table at the vet, and they picked him up a few hours later. We were able to spend some time with him at the facility before watching him on video enter the chamber. His ashes were ready about 5 hours later and I was sent home with a ceramic paw print and paper ink paw print along with a lock of his fur. I think I called them 3-4 times with questions to clarify exactly what my options were and what I wanted to do. It was too early and very sudden for my baby, so not having thought of what I wanted for this day, I felt in very good hands at Schoedinger. Thank you Wendy and team for making one of the hardest days of my life, a little easier.

From beginning to end, these were just the kindest people. They were very understanding and patient with me. I really felt that they understood the weight of my grief and how important my first baby, my cat Goose, was to me.I was sobbing when I came to pick up my girl’s ashes. They knew just what to say: not that she was in a better place; or that, at least she wasn’t in pain. They acknowledged my grief without belittling it and without uttering some ‘magic phrase’ in an attempt to make me feel better.I’ve had family who just didn’t understand why my cat meant so much to me. They’re dog people and I love my dog, but my cat was just as important to me. She was my first pet and she died way too young.The way they handled her and the way I watched them take care of another’s pet while I was there. It’s just not something you see much of anymore. Just honest compassion and empathy that I am so thankful for. I know death is unfortunately just a part of life, and when I inevitably need this service again, I know who to call. Thank you all so much

I cannot say enough good things about Schoedinger Pets♥️ My 16 year old kitty Minnie passed away while I was visiting my family at Christmas in Canada. After a night spent on the phone with the vet who was trying to save her, I was distraught, but then remembered how Schoedinger took such good care of her sister Cleo the year before and called them right away to retrieve her from Medvet.I knew that they would treat her body with respect until I was able to get home. I could not believe the wonderful treatment she received and how she was laid out for me to see her one last time in a candlelit room, tucked into a blanket in a bed with a rose between her paws.The people at Schoedinger are so kind and thoughtful, they really helped me through the grieving process. They all hold a special place in my heart. Not only this, but they created beautiful hearts for a necklace out of my kitties’ ashes and memory beads for me to share with my son who originally brought them as kittens to me. They also help me to pick out beautiful urns ⚱️I am so grateful for their caring staff who have kept in touch with me to ask how I’m doing and who understand the importance of pets to our lives. They feel like family to me💕

The associates from Schoedinger were very kind and extremely helpful & caring while I was making arrangements for my Eddie's cremation. Yes, he was "just a cat", but he was MY cat & had been my companion for 17 years. Their representatives helped me through this difficult time & called to let me know I could retrieve his remains at my local funeral home. Dale (at the Grove City location) was very kind Eddie's remains were presented in a lovely wooden box & they gave me the information I needed for a plaque for his box. Thank you to Hannah & the other associates who made this ordeal a little easier. Highly recommend Schoedinger Pets Memorial Services.

***Update***I have spoken directly with Wendy, the manager, regarding my experience. I have updated my review rating to 4 star to reflect my overall experience. Staff has always been compassionate and Wendy deserves a 5-star. She is very caring and compassionate in regards to each client. She explained to me the process in which they transport remains, the ongoing process improvements they're working through during a time of management transition, and most importantly reassured me that my fur babies remains, prints, ink prints are indeed accurate. She explained how that process works to validate the remains are accurate. Thank you Wendy for taking the time to follow up with a concerned pet parent. It is greatly appreciated.This was the first and last time I would use them. I was instructed by OSU that they would call within 24 hours. I waited 48 hours and called them. They said they had my fur baby. I called OSU about something else and they mentioned he hadn't been picked up yet. Thought it was odd. They seemed very caring, but I was told they were swamped. Not exactly what you want to hear. Details of services offered were vague. I was told I would get a digital print of my dogs paw. They said we would get him back in 5-7 days. At day 10 I hadn't heard so we called. We opted to pick him up at one of their closer location instead of the downtown. The downtown said they didn't have him and to call the Worthington location. Worthington told me they didn't have him. For two days it was back and forth of staff members saying they didn't have him and that maybe he was en route. It's a few miles away, how is he en route for 2 days. I was so panicked. They eventually located him. When we picked him up it was very confusing as the lady said he wasn't there even thought the gentleman on the phone said he was. She went to double check because again I was told he was. She did end up finding him. We were reviewing everything in the box I didn't see the small remains we asked to be separated for spreading. So she was going to go open his urn and get some. While she was gone I looked in all the packaging and I found a small envelope with ashes. I ran after her to tell her not to open his urn. It was very chaotic. I felt the paw print was very smooshed and didn't really resemble his paw. Weeks later I found the receipt in which we paid had a different "number" on it from the number on all his items. To this day I'm not convinced they have a good system for identifying the animals and question the legitimacy of my pets remains, ink prints, etc. I try not to think about it because it's too upsetting. I also wanted the digital paw print that I was promised because I did not like any of their memorial jewelry and wanted to have my own made. I was denied the digital print as it was too upsetting for owners to have a picture of their deceased pets paw. I think the owner should be able to make that decision for themselves. As a medical worker I would be fine with it. Overall could not recommend. I've had friends use other pet cremation companies with a much better experience.

I was referred to this place to friends, who are actually family related to someone who works there. So when they put such high regard into a business, I thought yes I have to use them. Despite using somebody else for my cat of 20 years you passed away in April. I decided to try someone new for my poor beloved mocha who passed away due to Congestive Heart Failure at the age of 10 on 11/11/2023.At first, I was very impressed with their services. They were so kind and understanding exactly what you want someone to be in while you are overcome with grief. He was like a son to me he was my little man, my happy boy, my pride and joy. He was a glue that that held our family together. When I originally filled out the paperwork that day they asked me if I wanted a hair sample I said no I don’t think my daughter wants that. However, after I return home, she said she did so I called them and I spoke to a really nice lady who said she would make sure it was changed on the paperwork. When I picked Mocha up from the Grove City location, not only was there no lack of hair. There was no nameplate for his box. So I called back. I finally got in touch with someone who said it was changed in the system, but not on the paperwork. I was so heartbroken like I just wanted to DNA test done for my dog and I needed that hair sample. They said they would make it right and they said they’re going to send us some kind of memorial so it took me like an hour to download all these pictures of mocha to give them an example of him and I sent that to whomever mind you this is November. She said that she would get the nameplate out to us in the mail along with something special to commemorate his memory and they felt really bad. This was the last time I’ve heard from them I’ve called back several times and left voicemails, no return call I just want the nameplate for my dog. I don’t even want anything special. I just want his nameplate so that I can put it with the rest of his things in the little memorial garden in our house. It is now almost March. It’s been five months, almost, and I just want his memorial garden complete.

I am so impressed with everything Schoedinger pets has done for us. The whole experience, as heartbreaking as it has been, was seamless with them. They took extra steps to ensure that we had as much of an imprint left by our Izzy as possible. The beautiful urn, a clay pawprint, poems, her fur, a nice card. They even checked in a little over a month after we lost our sweet Izzy. It has been more than I ever expected. If love could bring her back, she would have lived forever ! We will be grieving for quite some time, I am sure. I really appreciate their kindness as we navigate our grief. I would recommend them to anyone needing these services.

The staff at Schoedinger Pets was very compassionate and caring when we were making final arrangements for our beloved shetland sheepdog, Mercedes. I was impressed by the materials and emotionally valuable keepsakes we received upon the return of her ashes. They also reached out to ask how we were doing afterwards which was very thoughtful. After thirteen years, we lost my precious fur baby in August. We have went through Schoedinger in the past, and wanted the best for Sasha too. Deanna was the first to speak with me at Schoedinger, and was so sincere, and compassionate. She listened to me through tears, and pain and helped me more than she'll ever know. They took good care of Sasha, and Hannah did a follow up to see how I was doing since our loss. This meant a lot to me. They don't look at this as just an animal, but as losing a family member. That is just what our Sasha was to us. Thank you Schoedinger for everything, and most of all for helping us to bring our baby home.

It has taken me 2 years to writing something, it was very hard losing our baby of 4 years. He loved his cuddles with his family, loved giving kisses, loved eating his fresh fruits. You knew when he wanted to be alone. That night he passed he didn’t want to be around anyone. We called around that night to see who would be able to take care of our baby, Schoedinger Pets Memorial and Cremation are the greatest people to take care of your pets, they knew what we were going through, they showed everything they had to offer, they even said they would try to get his foot print even though it would be hard to get for a bunny (they got it), they even have a room to say your last good byes. I still have the voicemail letting us know he was ready to come home and the text messages that have sent over the years to check on you. The box with our urn and the rest of the things. We will be always grateful for the lovely people of Schoedinger Pets Memorial and Cremation.

In November, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my 16 1/2 year-old wiener dog to sleep. One of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make. My veterinarian was wonderful and so helpful but I didn’t want my dog to be treated like just another body after his passing so I reached out to Schoedinger pet cremation and I am so happy I did! Very caring and very professional and I know my dog was treated like the special dog he was to me. They were very patient with me and stayed in touch through the whole process even checking on me weeks later.

When we tragically lost our beloved Rocky, we were just beside ourselves. In the past, we had just buried our fallen pets, but Rocky was such a special family member and we really wanted to do something more special to memorialize him. I'm so thankful that Schoedinger Pets has weekend hours and they were there when we needed them. The associate I worked with was so compassionate and I felt so comforted leaving him in their hands. I was pleasantly surprised that pet cremation is as affordable as it is as well. I also received follow-up communication afterward to check on how we were doing through the grieving process and I'm just so thankful for that. The people that work for Schoedinger are angels and I am so thankful that they've helped walk us through this incredibly painful and emotional journey. I will 100% recommend them to friends and family when faced with the same difficult situation.

I was devastated when I lost my soulmate in the form of a furry cat. Schoedinger and their associates turned what normally would have been a completely scarring and traumatic experience in to something that I could look at with a lot more beauty after all was said and done. The staff were incredibly empathetic, kind, thoughtful, even checking up on me 3 months in a row on the day that my pet passed away. Their support is unmatched anywhere else and you can tell that they get so much fulfillment out of their jobs and being able to help you remember your pet's life instead of focusing on its death. The experience with them truly changed my life.

They did a great job when I lost my goodest girl. Leona was so sweet helping me working out a Logistics issue. They were all so caring and thoughtful. The ceramic pawprint was beautiful. I love that I have some of her hair as a keepsake. I would recommend them for taking care of your babies.

Everything you read in previous reviews, 100% accurate!! My wife & I had to unexpectedly say goodbye to our sweet girl in February after a week in ICU at OSU and from the first phone call to explain the process, discuss options and pricing to the day we brought her home they have shown nothing but genuine compassion and care.Our dogs are our children and we love them more than we like most people so to say we are devestated is an understatement. The follow up txts letting us know theyre still thinking of us and providing grief assistance information has been an unexpected welcome and is heartwarming to know they care enough to reach out even months following.Inevitably we will need their services in the future and wouldn't consider entrusting anyone else with our family, skin or fur.

Schoedinger Pets Memorial & Cremation Services is the very best!They helped us in a very sad time of need when our Buddy left us in 2007. April 11, 2022, we lost our dear Sophie after a great life of nearly 15 years. These folks are so kind, caring, and professional. When I had to call them, they were so comforting! I picked up Sophie’s cremains at the Schoedinger Dublin location. Once again, I experienced kindness and compassion from their wonderful employees. A few weeks after Sophie left us, I received a very kind follow-up text message from Hannah asking how we were doing and offering additional support if needed. So kind! I would recommend Schoedinger Pets Services to everyone. My Missy D passed unexpectedly and the services Schoedinger provided were very reassuring and professional. The staff was caring, articulate, and efficient. I was referred to them by the Veterinarian. The value of their services, for the price, was appropriate. I decided to try someone new for my poor beloved mocha who passed away due to Congestive Heart Failure at the age of 10 on 11/11/2023.At first, I was very impressed with their services. They were so kind and understanding exactly what you want someone to be in while you are overcome with grief. He was like a son to me he was my little man, my happy boy, my pride and joy. He was a glue that that held our family together. When I originally filled out the paperwork that day they asked me if I wanted a hair sample I said no I don’t think my daughter wants that. However, after I return home, she said she did so I called them and I spoke to a really nice lady who said she would make sure it was changed on the paperwork. When I picked Mocha up from the Grove City location, not only was there no lack of hair. There was no nameplate for his box. So I called back. I finally got in touch with someone who said it was changed in the system, but not on the paperwork. I was so heartbroken like I just wanted to DNA test done for my dog and I needed that hair sample. They said they would make it right and they said they’re going to send us some kind of memorial so it took me like an hour to download all these pictures of mocha to give them an example of him and I sent that to whomever mind you this is November. She said that she would get the nameplate out to us in the mail along with something special to commemorate his memory and they felt really bad. This was the last time I’ve heard from them I’ve called back several times and left voicemails, no return call I just want the nameplate for my dog. I don’t even want anything special. I just want his nameplate so that I can put it with the rest of his things in the little memorial garden in our house. It is now almost March. It’s been five months, almost, and I just want his memorial garden complete.

I am so impressed with everything Schoedinger pets has done for us. The whole experience, as heartbreaking as it has been, was seamless with them. They took extra steps to ensure that we had as much of an imprint left by our Izzy as possible. The beautiful urn, a clay pawprint, poems, her fur, a nice card. They even checked in a little over a month after we lost our sweet Izzy. It has been more than I ever expected. If love could bring her back, she would have lived forever ! After thirteen years, we lost my precious fur baby in August. We have went through Schoedinger in the past, and wanted the best for Sasha too. Deanna was the first to speak with me at Schoedinger, and was so sincere, and compassionate. She listened to me through tears, and pain and helped me more than she'll ever know. They took good care of Sasha, and Hannah did a follow up to see how I was doing since our loss. This meant a lot to me. They don't look at this as just an animal, but as losing a family member. It has taken me 2 years to writing something, it was very hard losing our baby of 4 years. He loved his cuddles with his family, loved giving kisses, loved eating his fresh fruits. You knew when he wanted to be alone. That night he passed he didn’t want to be around anyone. We called around that night to see who would be able to take care of our baby, Schoedinger Pets Memorial and Cremation are the greatest people to take care of your pets, they knew what we were going through, they showed everything they had to offer, they even said they would try to get his foot print even though it would be hard to get for a bunny (they got it), they even have a room to say your last good byes. I still have the voicemail letting us know he was ready to come home and the text messages that have sent over the years to check on you. The box with our urn and the rest of the things. In November, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my 16 1/2 year-old wiener dog to sleep. One of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make. My veterinarian was wonderful and so helpful but I didn’t want my dog to be treated like just another body after his passing so I reached out to Schoedinger pet cremation and I am so happy I did! Very caring and very professional and I know my dog was treated like the special dog he was to me. They were very patient with me and stayed in touch through the whole process even checking on me weeks later.

When we tragically lost our beloved Rocky, we were just beside ourselves. In the past, we had just buried our fallen pets, but Rocky was such a special family member and we really wanted to do something more special to memorialize him. I'm so thankful that Schoedinger Pets has weekend hours and they were there when we needed them. The associate I worked with was so compassionate and I felt so comforted leaving him in their hands. I was pleasantly surprised that pet cremation is as affordable as it is as well. I also received follow-up communication afterward to check on how we were doing through the grieving process and I'm just so thankful for that. The people that work for Schoedinger are angels and I am so thankful that they've helped walk us through this incredibly painful and emotional journey. In the past, I'd have given them 5 stars. I don't know what has happened over the past several months, but service (as in promptness of returning the urn, sending the nameplate, accurate order taking, responsiveness to inquiries, etc.) has gone downhill. Thus far, the last interaction has been the worst. Our Bernese Mountain Dog passed away on March 13. Her ashes were available to pick up on May 28. Prior to that, someone from the chapel had called to ask what I wanted, which was a lock of fur, a paw print, and specifically a plaster cast. Our dog was over 120 lbs and was the biggest dog we had ever had, and I said more than once that we wanted a plaster cast of her paw. No plaster cast was made and I cannot express how upsetting that was. The person who gave me the other items said it was not on the order form that a staff member had completed. I am not sure how that happened when more than once, I mentioned the plaster cast.On the March 29, I photographed and emailed the form indicating what I wanted on our dog's urn plate. I also mentioned the incident about the cast. A staff member responded to me that day with what I thought was a nice email, offering a choice of two items to make up for the missing plaster cast. I chose a canvas print of our dog and sent in my favorite photo right away, and was told it would be printed within 7-10 days.Thus far, it is May 3 and I have received neither the plate for the urn nor the canvas print. In fact, I sent emails again on April 24, April 29, and again this morning and have gotten no response at all. If things are on back order, etc., then at least respond to my email and let me know, so I know someone at least cares and is working to get our items in order.If and when I finally get the plate and the print, it will be my last time using Schoedinger and instead I'll look for another company for future pets' needs. This dog, as in all our pets, was very special to us and I feel like my emails about my concerns are completely disregarded. Customer service is of huge importance to me, and I'm not getting it.

We just had a very disappointing experience with Schoedinger. Our beloved dog passed away and the best they could do was a 5-6 week turnaround. Well, that's too long for him to be away (we were expecting a week or two) so we called around and found Forever Friends, who provided the exact same services and urn within two days. We asked if Forever Friends could pick him up and Schoedinger said they would have to do the transfer to our vet per their rules. That's fine - except they dropped off the wrong dog... Fortunately, someone at our vet's office noticed this and insisted that they look for our guy, who was still on their truck. They finally got it right but had our vet's team not been paying close attention, we would have had the wrong ashes and never known.It was an upsetting experience for our family during a difficult time so wanted to make sure that others are aware before possibly going through it yourselves.

We dropped our cat at the downtown location and since we live in Powell, they offered to have her ashes delivered back to the Dublin location. She was returned back within a week (even though they said it was a 2-week turn around). I have spoken with people in both offices and everyone is so, so nice and helpful. They take what is a very difficult situation for a pet owner and make it seamless and easy. They make you feel like they genuinely care too about your pet and your feelings. I am giving this place 3 stars because I’m not gonna let my situation dictate anyone else’s. My family has being using Schoedinger for years with both human and fur family members. We have never run into any problems or issues. So when I had to put my cat of 6years down I knew I would use their services. She arrived at their office on January 29th or 30th, which on the 30th I spoke to someone about the arrangements. I ordered a cherry wood box and the ceramic paw print. I was told it would be a 5week turn around time due to understaffing issues. No big deal I understand and I knew she was in good hands (again we have used them with no problems) today march 11th I called shortly before they closed this evening to get an eta on when she would be ready for pick up. I was told she was getting ready to be delivered to the east location but they had to apologize to me because the ceramic paw print that I ordered and looked forward to having was never done. It was forgotten about. I was offered a refund for the paw print, with a bunch of apologies. What am I supposed to do with that? That is a one time thing and a very important thing that I asked for. I can’t get that anywhere now that she is ashes. I understand there’s an understaff issue but PLEASE dont mess up something so important and fragile. I try to understand things on the other end but this is something I will never understand. It was on her form for 5-6wks. Since January 30th. Please please please double, triple and quadruple check everything is done before you cremate someone’s fur baby. I just hope when I pick her up she’s in the right box and I get actually get her. I will still recommend this place and will still use them in the future BUT I will take my own ceramic paw print just in case

In October, we unexpectedly lost our fur baby Olivia. It was a complete shock to our family, as we had no prior indications she was ill. Schoedinger quickly spoke with us after our vet put her to sleep and comforted us. We were able to pick up Olivia’s ashes from the funeral home as well as other valuable mementos. My husband and I were so emotional, but so grateful to have her paw print and hair clippings with her urn. Words cannot express how thankful we are to Schoedinger Pet Services for taking great care of our fur baby. Everyone was so nice, expressed their sincere condolences and granted every request we asked for. We had no idea services like this existed for fur babies, and I am so glad that they do!While we are still grieving, we feel better that Olivia is no longer in pain. I was devastated when I lost my soulmate in the form of a furry cat. Schoedinger and their associates turned what normally would have been a completely scarring and traumatic experience in to something that I could look at with a lot more beauty after all was said and done. Everything you read in previous reviews, 100% accurate!! My wife & I had to unexpectedly say goodbye to our sweet girl in February after a week in ICU at OSU and from the first phone call to explain the process, discuss options and pricing to the day we brought her home they have shown nothing but genuine compassion and care.Our dogs are our children and we love them more than we like most people so to say we are devestated is an understatement. The follow up txts letting us know theyre still thinking of us and providing grief assistance information has been an unexpected welcome and is heartwarming to know they care enough to reach out even months following.Inevitably we will need their services in the future and wouldn't consider entrusting anyone else with our family, skin or fur.

Our vet uses Schoedinger funeral for pets . when our previous dogs and more recently two of our feline family passed they were wonderful when our Norman passed away unexpectedly on a late Saturday evening. We googled Schoedinger , we drove him downtown the next morning to Schoedinger , they were so nice and considerate wrapping him in a beautiful pet blanket, they put his ashes in a beautiful box along with paw prints and a wonderful card . It took me a few months to share my experience with this place because I was extremely torn apart through the entire process. I called them to see if they received her, they said “yes, the day before”.. I then made arrangements. I was promised a 2-3 week turn around and my baby would be back to me before Christmas. I tried to be patient, and waited a few days before the 3 week mark, and called back because I received no calls or anything. I was then told it would be another 1-2 weeks unless I would pay $100 extra for a “same day viewing” to have her before Christmas. I would like to make it VERY CLEAR i would have paid this in the first place if I knew this was all going to happen. It wasn't even mentioned to me. I panicked because I saw they were continuously lying to customers about turn around time. I knew they were justing lying about the turn around time again, so i had to pay. This place never made a phone call to me first, and I was the only one reaching out. I told them I would pick her up from the same location she was cremated at because it seems like they also have a history of LOSING ASHES AND BODIES…. I will NEVER use this place again. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. My baby sat in a freezer for weeks for no reason at this point. When I came to receive her the lady in the office was cold.. handed me a box like it was just another day for her. I then received my baby in the wrong colored box I asked for, with a sticker attached to the bottom that is impossible to remove. I have since then purchased her a beautiful handmade urn.. and tried to move on from this horrible experience. She deserved better than this.

Schoedinger Pets has helped our family during many difficult times. My daughter lost her favorite cat and show rabbit within months of each other and Schoedinger was supportive in our needs to help comfort her. They are very responsive and they provide a quality end product. They even assisted me in choosing a paw print pendant so that my daughter can have a remembrance of her show rabbit at future rabbit shows and competitions. We dropped our dog off on December 9th and were told that he would be ready in 3 weeks. We’ve used Schodinger in the past and had a good experience so we agreed. 3 weeks passed and we didn’t hear from anyone, we called multiple times asking for an update and were not given a reason for the delay or an apology. Finally after SEVEN weeks we received a call that he was ready to be picked up. If we had none it would be this long we would have gone elsewhere.

This is the second time I have had to say goodbye to one my pets and I’ve used Schoedinger’s services both times. Schoedinger goes above and beyond to make sure that you know your pet is in good hands while in their possession. They also did so much to preserve the memory of my fur babies. I can honestly say Schoedinger Pets honestly do care. I am a boxer breeder out of Pennsylvania and I suddenly lost an 8 week old puppy out of the current litter, totally healthy happy perfect puppy. I drove 3 hours to Columbus Ohio to obtain an autopsy on the puppy, I had to know if the cause of death was genetic or not. From there, Schoedinger Pets took over and cremated my little bundle of joy, he was our family. I had our first boxer cremated back here in Pennsylvania a couple of years ago and this experience was totally different with Schoedinger. I received numerous phone calls for updates and even received “just checking in and how are you doing?” calls and text messages. I don’t have one negative thing to comment about this business. It’s not just their “job”, they are very compassionate about what they do and provide relief for you while you are grieving over your lost pet. Thank you again!

We just had a very disappointing experience with Schoedinger. Our beloved dog passed away and the best they could do was a 5-6 week turnaround. Well, that's too long for him to be away (we were expecting a week or two) so we called around and found Forever Friends, who provided the exact same services and urn within two days. We asked if Forever Friends could pick him up and Schoedinger said they would have to do the transfer to our vet per their rules. That's fine - except they dropped off the wrong dog... Fortunately, someone at our vet's office noticed this and insisted that they look for our guy, who was still on their truck. They finally got it right but had our vet's team not been paying close attention, we would have had the wrong ashes and never known.It was an upsetting experience for our family during a difficult time so wanted to make sure that others are aware before possibly going through it yourselves.

We dropped our cat at the downtown location and since we live in Powell, they offered to have her ashes delivered back to the Dublin location. She was returned back within a week (even though they said it was a 2-week turn around). I have spoken with people in both offices and everyone is so, so nice and helpful. They take what is a very difficult situation for a pet owner and make it seamless and easy. They make you feel like they genuinely care too about your pet and your feelings. I am giving this place 3 stars because I’m not gonna let my situation dictate anyone else’s. My family has being using Schoedinger for years with both human and fur family members. We have never run into any problems or issues. So when I had to put my cat of 6years down I knew I would use their services. She arrived at their office on January 29th or 30th, which on the 30th I spoke to someone about the arrangements. I ordered a cherry wood box and the ceramic paw print. I was told it would be a 5week turn around time due to understaffing issues. No big deal I understand and I knew she was in good hands (again we have used them with no problems) today march 11th I called shortly before they closed this evening to get an eta on when she would be ready for pick up. I was told she was getting ready to be delivered to the east location but they had to apologize to me because the ceramic paw print that I ordered and looked forward to having was never done. It was forgotten about. I was offered a refund for the paw print, with a bunch of apologies. What am I supposed to do with that? That is a one time thing and a very important thing that I asked for. I can’t get that anywhere now that she is ashes. I understand there’s an understaff issue but PLEASE dont mess up something so important and fragile. I try to understand things on the other end but this is something I will never understand. It was on her form for 5-6wks. Since January 30th. Please please please double, triple and quadruple check everything is done before you cremate someone’s fur baby. I just hope when I pick her up she’s in the right box and I get actually get her. I will still recommend this place and will still use them in the future BUT I will take my own ceramic paw print just in case

When my precious dog Sydney had to be put to sleep suddenly, Schoedinger Pets did such an amazing job! They took care of everything including getting her from my vet's office. I would not trust this place with your pet. Please do not give them your service. They took three weeks to cremate my dog and lost his ashes. The day after my dog died they called for payment and we paid them. But we were not told when the ashes would be available. I had called my vet after a week of not hearing when I could pick him up and they were shocked I did not get his ashes. I had to keep calling to find out the status. Three weeks went by and they finally said he was cremated and on his way to my vets office. However, he didn’t make it because they lost his ashes. They told us he was at my vets office and my vet said they never dropped them off. After calling them back they then claimed their driver made an error and a box showed up at my vet. I will never know if this was my dog. I do not want to give this company even 1 star. They caused my family more heartache, stress, and grief than anyone should go through. I only hope they don’t do this to human remains.

In October, we unexpectedly lost our fur baby Olivia. It was a complete shock to our family, as we had no prior indications she was ill. Schoedinger quickly spoke with us after our vet put her to sleep and comforted us. We were able to pick up Olivia’s ashes from the funeral home as well as other valuable mementos. My husband and I were so emotional, but so grateful to have her paw print and hair clippings with her urn. Words cannot express how thankful we are to Schoedinger Pet Services for taking great care of our fur baby. Everyone was so nice, expressed their sincere condolences and granted every request we asked for. We had no idea services like this existed for fur babies, and I am so glad that they do!While we are still grieving, we feel better that Olivia is no longer in pain. Our vet uses Schoedinger funeral for pets . when our previous dogs and more recently two of our feline family passed they were wonderful when our Norman passed away unexpectedly on a late Saturday evening. It took me a few months to share my experience with this place because I was extremely torn apart through the entire process. I called them to see if they received her, they said “yes, the day before”.. I then made arrangements. I was promised a 2-3 week turn around and my baby would be back to me before Christmas. I tried to be patient, and waited a few days before the 3 week mark, and called back because I received no calls or anything. I was then told it would be another 1-2 weeks unless I would pay $100 extra for a “same day viewing” to have her before Christmas. I would like to make it VERY CLEAR i would have paid this in the first place if I knew this was all going to happen. It wasn't even mentioned to me. I panicked because I saw they were continuously lying to customers about turn around time. I knew they were justing lying about the turn around time again, so i had to pay. This place never made a phone call to me first, and I was the only one reaching out. I told them I would pick her up from the same location she was cremated at because it seems like they also have a history of LOSING ASHES AND BODIES…. I will NEVER use this place again. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. My baby sat in a freezer for weeks for no reason at this point. When I came to receive her the lady in the office was cold.. handed me a box like it was just another day for her. I then received my baby in the wrong colored box I asked for, with a sticker attached to the bottom that is impossible to remove. I have since then purchased her a beautiful handmade urn.. and tried to move on from this horrible experience. She deserved better than this.

I recently had to put a pet to sleep unexpectedly. This was a cat that I rescued in the middle of a snow storm 10 years ago that had been abandoned. I promised him I would never leave him. So when my Vet asked if I wanted him cremated I said yes. Mind you I had never had a pet cremated before so I wasn't sure what I needed to do, what all was involved and how much this ordeal was going to cost me. Schoedinger was very compassionate and explained the process. Honestly I think it cost less than the vet bill. It took a little over a week and then I picked George up and brought him home because as I promised, I would never leave him. It was a very positive experience out of a situation that was so very sad. Pet cremation isn't for everyone and I always thought it was kinda morbid, but after my positive experience, if the situation were to arise, I would do it again. Thanks for enlightening this gal.

We lost our 13 year old English Foxhound in early September. This was our first time using Schoedinger Pet Services and I don't know that I can put into words how acceptable and beautiful they made the whole process. They were caring, consoling, and being pet owners themselves, you could tell they understood the grief we were feeling. For a very reasonable price we were given a wonderful box which contained his ashes in a very nice wooden box, a plaster cast of his paw print, an ink paw print on paper, and several small bags of his hair. Their texts/calls made me feel like there was no doubt I made the right choice and they gained a lifelong customer. I have never dealt with the passing of an animal well but they made it a celebration of Tucker while being so amazingly understanding of the grieving process it totally changed the way I see the passing of a pet. Thank you so much for all the kind words and for understanding what it is to be a pet parent, I was overwhelmed by their professionalism, attentiveness, and care and know who I will have help me send my fur babies over the rainbow bridge until I see them all again! Disappointed with that place please if you have an option - Don’t go there. November 16, 2023 our lovely friend and companion Niko passed away and had been taken to that place called Schlesinger Pets Memorial for cremation. They called me that same day afternoon for details and they told me it will be probably 2 weeks and a half waiting period until I receive our dog ashes. On 12/4/2023 I called and asked for any updates, they told me Niko is scheduled to be cremated that same day on the afternoon and I’ll receive his ashes at the end of the week. No phone calls no nothing. I called again on 12/8/2023 in the morning for any updates. The person I spoke with told me that he is scheduled to be cremated the afternoon and I will receive Niko ashes to the end of the week. I explained to that person that I am hearing the same story again but she told me they are very busy because of the new mystery illness RSV in dogs and they have received around 150 pets because of that. But I checked and OH doesn’t have yet reported cases. I want my Niko back home even in ashes. It hurts to know that your pet is somewhere frozen and wait to be cremated and that you person saying lyes to make excuses. Shame on her.

After 13 years we lost our precious Marly on April 6, 2022. She had battled lymphoma and went into remission but was suffering from kidney failure. This is the second time I have had to say goodbye to one my pets and I’ve used Schoedinger’s services both times. Schoedinger goes above and beyond to make sure that you know your pet is in good hands while in their possession. They also did so much to preserve the memory of my fur babies. Schoedinger Pets is an incredible organization. I was traumatized by the loss of my fur baby, Wallace, and they did all they could to ease my transition into a place of acceptance. Everyone I worked with was so compassionate, in spite of my breakdowns, and made a very challenging time for me just a little more bearable. That’s an accomplishment the whole organization should be proud of. They provided me with a lovely urn and tribute to my Wallace which means the world to me and always will. When our beloved Cookie died suddenly, we immediately began looking for a service to cremate her so we could keep her in our home. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Schoedinger, with their stellar reputation in Columbus, also offered pet services.We took Cookie there first thing the morning she passed and the employee could not have been nicer. We were obviously very emotional and he treated us rightly as if we had lost a valued family member, and we had. I lost my furbaby very ununexpectedly. We called Schoedinger and they were the most understanding and compassionate people. They were so kind. They were affordable as well. We got the ceramic paw print along with the cremation. They also did an ink impression of her paw and gave me locks of her fur. I got her ashes back in 3 days and they were in the wooden box I picked out as well as inside a nice box with the ceramic paw print, ink paw print, fur and a book on how to deal and understand grief. It was so nice. We got her name plate ordered, which came with the cremation and it arrived in about 10 days. To top it all, I've received texts of caring and loving words from the folks that work there after everything was done. Our beloved German Shepherd turned 14 this past April & while he had been living with signs of DM for the last year, it started to become very aggressive in early May, so we were sadly forced to make that dreadful decision to euthanize him. I called Schoedinger that morning, before the technician came to our house for the euthanasia & they were incredible from the moment someone answered the phone.I was given the option to make all cremation arrangements & pay over the phone, or I could do so when I dropped him off later that day. I chose to do it all over the phone & when it was time to drive him to their downtown location, we were able to say goodbye one last time before they very lovingly took him in for us.It took them about 4.5 days to complete the cremation & I received a call to let me know he was ready to be picked up, and that he was also able to be picked up at their location close by my home. They had his ashes in the box we had picked along with everything else we had decided to get. Everything was packaged up very nicely & the person I received his remains from was as kind as anyone could be.I took the time to write this long review because I genuinely now know how genuinely difficult it is to lose a pet that has been a like a member of the family & for anyone going through the same situation, I highly recommended using Schoedinger for their pet cremation services. The cost was extremely reasonable, the kindness & compassion they showed was second to none, & what was returned to us allowed us to bring our Leo back home & remember him each day in a very special way.

I can honestly say Schoedinger Pets honestly do care. I am a boxer breeder out of Pennsylvania and I suddenly lost an 8 week old puppy out of the current litter, totally healthy happy perfect puppy. I drove 3 hours to Columbus Ohio to obtain an autopsy on the puppy, I had to know if the cause of death was genetic or not. From there, Schoedinger Pets took over and cremated my little bundle of joy, he was our family. I had our first boxer cremated back here in Pennsylvania a couple of years ago and this experience was totally different with Schoedinger. I received numerous phone calls for updates and even received “just checking in and how are you doing?” calls and text messages. I don’t have one negative thing to comment about this business. When my precious dog Sydney had to be put to sleep suddenly, Schoedinger Pets did such an amazing job! They took care of everything including getting her from my vet's office. I’ve had two cats die within a month of each other and I was completely devastated. I wanted to know that my fur babies would receive the same quality of funeral services as my own family members because they were like my children. The Shoedinger Pets staff was excellent during the loss of our Jack. Jack was our almost 13 year old golden retriever and treasured family member. Jack helped my husband and I raise our 3 children and was absolutely a joy to all of us over the years. The staff made all the difference in helping us arrange for Jack to be cared for after his passing. The staff picked him up from the emergency care facility taking so much worry off of us and even provided treasured nose prints, paw prints and fur clippings for us. I would not trust this place with your pet. Please do not give them your service. They took three weeks to cremate my dog and lost his ashes. The day after my dog died they called for payment and we paid them. But we were not told when the ashes would be available. I had called my vet after a week of not hearing when I could pick him up and they were shocked I did not get his ashes. I had to keep calling to find out the status. Three weeks went by and they finally said he was cremated and on his way to my vets office. However, he didn’t make it because they lost his ashes. They told us he was at my vets office and my vet said they never dropped them off. After calling them back they then claimed their driver made an error and a box showed up at my vet. I will never know if this was my dog. I do not want to give this company even 1 star. They caused my family more heartache, stress, and grief than anyone should go through. I only hope they don’t do this to human remains.

I recently had to put a pet to sleep unexpectedly. This was a cat that I rescued in the middle of a snow storm 10 years ago that had been abandoned. I promised him I would never leave him. So when my Vet asked if I wanted him cremated I said yes. Mind you I had never had a pet cremated before so I wasn't sure what I needed to do, what all was involved and how much this ordeal was going to cost me. Schoedinger was very compassionate and explained the process. Honestly I think it cost less than the vet bill. It took a little over a week and then I picked George up and brought him home because as I promised, I would never leave him. It was a very positive experience out of a situation that was so very sad. Pet cremation isn't for everyone and I always thought it was kinda morbid, but after my positive experience, if the situation were to arise, I would do it again. Thanks for enlightening this gal.

We lost our 13 year old English Foxhound in early September. This was our first time using Schoedinger Pet Services and I don't know that I can put into words how acceptable and beautiful they made the whole process. They were caring, consoling, and being pet owners themselves, you could tell they understood the grief we were feeling. For a very reasonable price we were given a wonderful box which contained his ashes in a very nice wooden box, a plaster cast of his paw print, an ink paw print on paper, and several small bags of his hair. Their texts/calls made me feel like there was no doubt I made the right choice and they gained a lifelong customer. I have never dealt with the passing of an animal well but they made it a celebration of Tucker while being so amazingly understanding of the grieving process it totally changed the way I see the passing of a pet. Disappointed with that place please if you have an option - Don’t go there. November 16, 2023 our lovely friend and companion Niko passed away and had been taken to that place called Schlesinger Pets Memorial for cremation. They called me that same day afternoon for details and they told me it will be probably 2 weeks and a half waiting period until I receive our dog ashes. On 12/4/2023 I called and asked for any updates, they told me Niko is scheduled to be cremated that same day on the afternoon and I’ll receive his ashes at the end of the week. No phone calls no nothing. I called again on 12/8/2023 in the morning for any updates. The person I spoke with told me that he is scheduled to be cremated the afternoon and I will receive Niko ashes to the end of the week. I explained to that person that I am hearing the same story again but she told me they are very busy because of the new mystery illness RSV in dogs and they have received around 150 pets because of that. But I checked and OH doesn’t have yet reported cases. I want my Niko back home even in ashes. It hurts to know that your pet is somewhere frozen and wait to be cremated and that you person saying lyes to make excuses. Shame on her.

After 13 years we lost our precious Marly on April 6, 2022. She had battled lymphoma and went into remission but was suffering from kidney failure. I had to put my 10 year old golden retriever down. Schoedinger Pets Memorial did the cremation. They were wonderful to work with. Very detailed in what I wanted. I received a call from them when Huck’s ashes were ready. They were in a beautiful box, with a beautiful folder of prayers when losing a pet. A clip of his hair was included along with an ink foot print. I picked his ashes up from the Dublin location. It was beautiful. I told them that’s where I want to go when I pass. This place is fantastic!

PLEASE BEWARE!!!! I could hardly rank a one star. We were told originally 3-4 weeks from there office and vca told us a week. We didn’t get our pet until the 7th week. My friend had there dog at the location for 8 weeks. Both of us continued to get excuses and lies.We were even told staff had covid. I told them they should be not taking dogs in until they get caught up,or heck just tell us the truth. We got a nameplate and instead of just having me fill paper out at the office or even when the process started they sent the paper home with me when I picked him to fill out 3 lines just to have it sent back to the same office where we were. This may be there procedure but just tweak it and offer the customer choices.They did offer a reimbursement .

Let's face it - using this service is one of the worst days of your life. But, the team at Schoedinger is amazing. From the initial phone call to meeting them at the office, they were kind and compassionate. Transferring your loved fluffy friend to them is more than just a drop off, you can tell they care! We brought our Boy Buzz here in a blanket and they asked if we wanted the blanket returned, I said no. They replied with "thats great, it will keep him comfy". It's the little things that will make a sad day a little more bearable. We have been other places in the past, and its not even close. Plus, the follow ups and kindness is throughout and after the process. Will not go anywhere else.

Our beloved German Shepherd turned 14 this past April & while he had been living with signs of DM for the last year, it started to become very aggressive in early May, so we were sadly forced to make that dreadful decision to euthanize him. I called Schoedinger that morning, before the technician came to our house for the euthanasia & they were incredible from the moment someone answered the phone.I was given the option to make all cremation arrangements & pay over the phone, or I could do so when I dropped him off later that day. I chose to do it all over the phone & when it was time to drive him to their downtown location, we were able to say goodbye one last time before they very lovingly took him in for us.It took them about 4.5 days to complete the cremation & I received a call to let me know he was ready to be picked up, and that he was also able to be picked up at their location close by my home. They had his ashes in the box we had picked along with everything else we had decided to get. Everything was packaged up very nicely & the person I received his remains from was as kind as anyone could be.I took the time to write this long review because I genuinely now know how genuinely difficult it is to lose a pet that has been a like a member of the family & for anyone going through the same situation, I highly recommended using Schoedinger for their pet cremation services. The cost was extremely reasonable, the kindness & compassion they showed was second to none, & what was returned to us allowed us to bring our Leo back home & remember him each day in a very special way.

I’ve had two cats die within a month of each other and I was completely devastated. I wanted to know that my fur babies would receive the same quality of funeral services as my own family members because they were like my children. This is our 2nd time coming to Schoedinger to have our beloved dogs cremated. From the time we pulled into the driveway until we left we felt as if we were the only ones that mattered during that time. The care and sympathy for us in regards to the loss of our pet dog was very empathetic and supportive. We were also informed of support groups availability for our grief if desired. Losing my Oliver was difficult enough, but Oscar (my other cat and Oli’s BFF) went missing three days later. The people I talked to at Schoedinger were so nice. The day after Thanksgiving a few months ago, I had the heartbreaking task of taking my 16 1/2 year old Dachshund to OSU Veterinary hospital, as his time had come to go to heaven. Schoedinger has handle a total of two pet cremations for me. Both experiences were handled compassionately and the funeral staff were very professional. They made every effort to accomodate my needs. Since a pet can pass away at anytime, often passing occurs when pet crematory's are not open for business. When I called about my second pet's passing, Schoedinger was about to close for the day. I was told someone would wait for me at the funeral home until I could make the drive to downtown Columbus. I will be forever grateful Schoedinger offers this services. I have 6 more pets and Schoedinger will be handling all of their final arrangements. The Shoedinger Pets staff was excellent during the loss of our Jack. Jack was our almost 13 year old golden retriever and treasured family member. Jack helped my husband and I raise our 3 children and was absolutely a joy to all of us over the years. Schoedinger was Heaven sent to me in my time of grief. My little sweet Pekingese (Peppi) became ill pretty quickly and we had to make a decision to put her down. It was the hardest thing I had ever had to do. This was a first since we had our beloved Peppi for almost 16 years. Schoedinger made everything so stress free. We dropped her off and they went over every detail with me. I didn’t have to worry about anything. She was cremated and they contacted me when everything was taken care of and I picked up her ashes only a couple days later. Our devastating journey of the loss of our very personable, loving Coco dog began at the Diley Hill animal emergency center in Canal Winchester at 10:00 pm January 11 where Coco lost her battle. We had a family gathering on this very day in her honor, I will be forever convinced that she waited for this gathering to say her goodbyes. We chose Schoedinger Pets to fill our needs. They sent a driver the next day to pick Coco up and transported her to Columbus, they called to update us on the process. I had went here to cremate my gecko! The vet office I had put her down at was asking $300 for cremation and then suggested this place and schodingers charged not even a fraction of that!! They took such great care of my baby. They were quick, caring and made sure you felt like you were in good hands. I would totally recommend this place for your pet! At difficult times like the death of a human family member, Schoedinger Funeral Home is there to help. But they also are equally comforting in their help when a beloved pet comes to the end of their life. I took our lab to OSU because he was sick and the local vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. OSU had answers within an hour but unfortunately there was nothing they could do with him. We had to put him down and Schoedinger pets was very good and compassionate with us ! Everyone there is great and very helpful during a very difficult time! Very sympathetic and made the process so much easier! Have used them twice now for both my pets who passes and wouldn't use anyone else! Very reasonable cost wise and I got my pets ashes back within 2 weeks of her passing! They even did ink paw prints and a ceramic one with her name and enclosed a clipping of her fur! Highly recommend!

Shoedinger understands loss and the grieving process. I have used the services of Shoedinger Pets Memorial &Cremation services with all of my pets and absolutely would not go anywhere else. Schoedinger provides a wonderful service to those who have lost a pet. They handle picking up the pet, cremation and placing them in a beautiful wood box, with a lovely card that includes a paw print and a plastic bag with a bit of the pet's fur. Their kindness and understanding of the grief involved in the loss of a beloved pet was very meaningfrul. Our beloved Stewart was a neighborhood cat. This special orange tabby made friends everywhere he roamed. We miss him and thank Schoedinger for their help in memorializing our special friend.Sherri Palmer

I have used Schoedinger Pets Memorial Svcs for many years, maybe 20+ ? I believe they were the first ones in Columbus to offer this service. They have always been exceptionally kind & understanding, several times allowing me to sit with my animal until I was ready to say goodbye. As I'm a prof petsitter, I also recommend them to my clients. In the case of several elderly clients, I managed the "departure" & delivery for cremation to Schoedinger's. It was comforting to these folks to have an old family business caring for their beloved babies. I think Schoedinger was also the first to have the idea of a bit of fur & a paw-print as part of the memorial box. They are efficient, kind & reasonably priced.

I had to put my cat, Kevin, to sleep recently and the cost included cremation by Schoedinger Pets Memorial. For those who might understand the heartbreak of losing a pet, it truly brought me some peace to know I would be able to receive a memorial of ashes and in addition, they included a plaster paw print and lock of fur. They were very kind in all my communications with them, from making any arrangements to follow up calls to express their condolences. Schoedinger’s helped comfort me during a very sad and painful time.

Our Gigi passed away at home overnight at the end of July. I had always used a cremation service through my local veterinarian, but decided to try Schoedinger at the recommendation from a friend. I drove an hour to drop her off, cried most of the way, not expecting anything more than a hand off and paperwork. It was so much more. They have a special place just for the pets and a designated parking spot. They helped out so much and we’re very compassionate. I am not looking forward to the next time I have to use their services, but when the time comes they will be my choice. Thank you.

When my 12 year old pup passed away I was distraught. Not knowing what to do, I was referred to Schoedinger. I had no idea the lengths they would go to making sure the memory of my little dog was preserved. Losing our beloved Brutus was unexpected, and it was one of the worst things we have had to go through. He was our baby for 12 years, and was an integral part of our family. From the moment we were called about his body being delivered safely to their building, we knew he was in good hands. Hannah called us, and was one of the most kind people I’ve ever dealt with. She let me take my time while I basically sobbed through the decision making process. She walked me through all of my options, she was patient and comforting. We had a lot of requests, and she was so prompt in sending us the proof of the urn we selected. She offered up additional items (like a nose print) that we weren’t even aware we could get. The urn we picked out turned out to be beautiful. The most important thing about the whole experience was that I knew he was being handled with love and care even after his death. We were informed along the way of every step, all while being reminded that he was safe and well cared for. I would recommend them with more than 5 stars if I could. In a difficult time, having people take those extra steps makes a world of difference

Obviously, I wish I hadn't ever had to deal with Schoedinger. It was one of the worst moments of my life. That said, Schoedinger was amazingly responsive and helpful. We were out-of-towners and they were able to help us quickly and with great care for our painful situation. If you need the services, Schoedinger is a good group to use.

Schoedinger has handle a total of two pet cremations for me. Both experiences were handled compassionately and the funeral staff were very professional. They made every effort to accomodate my needs. Since a pet can pass away at anytime, often passing occurs when pet crematory's are not open for business. When I called about my second pet's passing, Schoedinger was about to close for the day. I was told someone would wait for me at the funeral home until I could make the drive to downtown Columbus. I will be forever grateful Schoedinger offers this services. I have 6 more pets and Schoedinger will be handling all of their final arrangements. A big thank you to Hannah and the remainder of the Schoedinger funeral staff for all you do to help pet owners through difficult times.

Schoedinger was Heaven sent to me in my time of grief. My little sweet Pekingese (Peppi) became ill pretty quickly and we had to make a decision to put her down. It was the hardest thing I had ever had to do. This was a first since we had our beloved Peppi for almost 16 years. Schoedinger made everything so stress free. We dropped her off and they went over every detail with me. I didn’t have to worry about anything. She was cremated and they contacted me when everything was taken care of and I picked up her ashes only a couple days later. They also gave me a lock of her hair and a nice paw print which I have put on display alongside her ashes. Schoedinger made this process so seamless and it was very affordable.

Our devastating journey of the loss of our very personable, loving Coco dog began at the Diley Hill animal emergency center in Canal Winchester at 10:00 pm January 11 where Coco lost her battle. We had a family gathering on this very day in her honor, I will be forever convinced that she waited for this gathering to say her goodbyes. We chose Schoedinger Pets to fill our needs. They sent a driver the next day to pick Coco up and transported her to Columbus, they called to update us on the process. They then offered to deliver her to the nearest Schoedinger facility to us for receiving her remains. The entire experience with them was flawless, personable and comforting at such a painful time. The remains package is beautiful and heartfelt. Thank you all.

I had went here to cremate my gecko! The vet office I had put her down at was asking $300 for cremation and then suggested this place and schodingers charged not even a fraction of that!! They took such great care of my baby. They were quick, caring and made sure you felt like you were in good hands. I would totally recommend this place for your pet! At difficult times like the death of a human family member, Schoedinger Funeral Home is there to help. But they also are equally comforting in their help when a beloved pet comes to the end of their life. Schoedinger in partnership with our veterinarian helped us peacefully and comfortingly when our Maggie reached the the fullness of her time with us. I took our lab to OSU because he was sick and the local vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. OSU had answers within an hour but unfortunately there was nothing they could do with him. We had to put him down and Schoedinger pets was very good and compassionate with us ! Unfortunately my pitty had to be put down a couple months ago and I liked the way I was treated at Schoedinger pets so I made the 3hr drive and took her there also ! The workers are great to deal with and are beyond compassionate helping out people in this hard time! Thanks again Bryan !

I had just lost my 14 year old cat who had been with me through everything, including the loss of my son 3 years prior. After searching and searching other cremation places I was in tears as no one cared and they also didn't care that I had been out of work due to covid and could not pay the outrageous fees others wanted for a 3 lb. Cat. Needless to say I was referred to Schoedinger Pets and they were so kind and caring and affordable. They also gave me a box and paw print and a brass plate with her name on it.
