The staff at Groff Pet Loss are amazing. We lost our sweet boy Hank very unexpectedly and the care and service we received was second to none. I was able to bring him in and they let me take all the time I needed with him. Everything was very straightforward and easy, which is huge during a time like this. I was able to have him back home with us the next day and they provided keepsakes for us too. Just knowing there is a service like this, with people that show care and compassion is incredible. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs this.

I've had Groff handle 4 of my pets creations so far they always do a wonderful job. They are very sensitive to my feelings and needs. One of my pets passed in the heat of the summer on a Saturday night. Jackie met me on Sunday even though they aren't open so she wouldn't be decomposing in my home. The paw and nose prints are always so sweet. We had a Chameleon done last and they did his tail, head and paw print. Always thoughtful, always professional. The Urns are beautiful as well. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Groff is my go to place when I lose a pet. We recently lost our cat Oliver. From the moment I called to make arrangements, I felt heard, cared for and knew my pet wouldbe treated with care and respect. Jackie greeted us and was very caring of our buddy Oliver. We felt we left Oliver in good care and received his remains in a timely manner. It is always hard to lose a fur baby as they become a true member of the family. I lost my best friend and companion on 12/30/24. She had been suffering with cancer for several months, but throughout the holiday season it was apparent she was ready to go. I delivered her myself to Groffs and was met by Jackie. Jackie will never know how much I needed her compassion and empathy that day. This place is so much more than a pet crematory. Jackie did not rush me through the process and took the time to comfort me and listen to my story of how I had acquired my girl, Honey. After the fact, I realized I probably talked through her lunch time. I am sorry for that Jackie! I left there feeling confident that I had chosen the best place to leave my sweet girl. After picking her up, I was so very impressed with their attention to detail, and included her nose and paw print that I will treasure the rest of my life. Thank you to the Groff Family for your service, and never let Jackie go!!!!

Groff Pet Services were great in our time of need! Everything unexpectedly happened on a Sunday. I reached out to them expecting not to hear back until Monday. Jackie texted me right back and we had everything arranged for Monday morning. Jackie greeted us there Monday morning. She was extremely understanding and consoling. What can I possibly say about Jackie at Groff’s Pet Loss Service that everyone hasn’t already said. I had to do the hardest thing I have ever had to do and have my Rudie put to sleep while I held him. He was my baby and I took him to Groff’s myself because I wanted to know where I was entrusting my family member to. He had given me so much love over the years that it was only right that I leave him with someone I could trust. Jackie greeted me and I immediately felt that I could entrust her with his cremation services. She not only showed genuine compassion to the heartache I was experiencing but explained in detail how she would take precious care of my Rudie. I went back the next day and was able to bring my baby’s urn & prints home with me. 💕Jackie even reached back out to me a couple weeks later to make sure I was doing ok and offered any support she could! Jackie at Groff was amazing! This was our first experience with losing a beloved furry friend and was pretty much at a loss as to what to do. Jackie was so comforting and kind! It was a holiday weekend but she till communicated with us and let us drop our baby off to her on the holiday! She definitely made a sad, painful time easier. I do not have enough positive words for the staff at Groff! Jackie was there for us when we truly needed her. She came into work on a Saturday morning when my furbaby, Brutus, passed away at 5 am. It is difficult when you loose a family member no matter two or four legged it's hard, confusing and very upsetting an sad, but when you have someone that although they may not know you they still treat you with love respect and compassion as if they've known you and your loved one your entire life it makes things much easier to handle. I love my fur babies like I love my children and the Ladies (well everyone I've spoken to) at Groff has treated (over the years) everyone of my fur babies as if they were their's, the love and attention they give to each angle that come to them is unbelievable. The keepsakes they offer is so heart warming and beautiful 😍. This is the second time we have used Groff’s for the loss of a pet and I am never disappointed. This time was a different circumstance, we had lost our beloved dog to a tragic accident late in the evening and we didn’t know what to do. I contacted a group we both belong too and they helped me get in touch with Jackie. I also received messages from Morgan, and Kara. Even at that time of night I received a message from Jackie and she told me what I needed to do. Jackie even went above and beyond and came and picked up our dog when there was no way I could get back in time to bring the dog to her. The care she provided to my situation and the love our family felt that night I would recommend these services to everyone who loses their pet

I recently lost my little Isabella. I called a local pet crematory, made an appointment to have Isabella cremated. Then I went searching and looked for reviews on others in area. I hit the jackpot!I found Groff Pet Loss Services, I called before they opened, and was called immediately after I hung up with answering service. Jackie was the angel on the other end of the phone. She is so professional, kind, compassionate and understanding explaining their services and pricing. I called the first corporate crematory, canceled my appointment and opted for a locally owned business.When I arrived with Isabella, she understood my deepest sadness and despair. I wanted to make sure to leave a review for Groff and specifically Jackie. We unexpectedly lost our dog, Brutus, while being back in the area for some family events from out of state. While this is really hard for a pet that's part of your family, it's even harder being 500 miles from home and all that goes with it. This happened on a Sunday and the whole family was devastated. I wasn't going to bury him and leave him behind, so I immediately looked online and found that Groff will do pet cremations. I called their number and talked to the answering service for the weekend. Within minutes of that phone call, Jackie text me back. I explained to her that I was staying in town for a few more days for work and she said she would take care of Brutus first thing the next morning to make sure I had his cremains before heading back home. She was able to show a ton of compassion through the whole process and even text me to follow up a couple weeks later. It's been tough and still is, but I appreciate what Jackie and Groff did after losing my best friend.

I met Jackie Williams at a networking event and from the moment she shared with me her loving care of the four foots before and after cremation I knew I would use Groff Pet loss services when the time arrived. Sadly the time arrived for my beloved Jack who passed away in my arms at almost 17 years old. I had Jackie’s card in my wallet and as my heart was breaking I was comforted knowing Jackie would be taking care of him and his cremation. I never considered a funeral home for end of life plans for our pet. When it came time to put our dog down after 13 years, the vet told me that they couldn’t tell me exactly where she would be going to be cremated. They said that they use multiple locations for cremation. After doing a little bit of research, I realized that dogs are cremated with other dogs. Meaning that you may only get a little bit of your dog back if any. You’ll end up with a mixture of other dogs that were cremated at the same time. That’s heartbreaking. When I called Groff Funeral Home, my call was answered with so much compassion. They answered every question that I had. They also reassured me that they only cremate one dog at a time which was important to me. They also were able to go and pick up our dog from the vet and take her to the funeral home. She assured me that she was the only one who would be caring for our dog, and that she was in good hands. It was so much of a sense of relief to know that our baby would be taken care of. Our family felt like their only client throughout this entire process. And they were extremely understanding of our grief process . I’m so glad that we chose them over just sending our dog to another county or an hour and a half away. It just didn’t seem right, but this did. I highly recommend Groff funeral home for their pet service's. Jackie is amazing and also is a pet owner who understands. You also get an online obituary for your pet that includes a picture at no extra charge. I truly felt like Jackie took a lot of the burden off of us so that we were able to properly grieve.

Just to let anyone know if they should need this service at a very sad time, the Groff family made a very hard time as easy as possible for us. On November 3rd we lost our sweet girl Jessi unexpectedly. I had to call them before they opened and Kara was amazing! She was patient and sympathetic and listened to me as I was in tears. She had 2 men come to my house (I'm sorry I didn't get their names)immediately and they took care of Jessie with such compassion and respect. The next day Jessie was brought home to us by a very sweet man. Again, I didn't get his name. Jackie got ahold of us sending her condolences and letting us know they were there for us which I want her to know is much appreciated. They understand that your pet is family and nothing less! I'm grateful that there is such a service available. With my Mom and I both disabled, and having 100lb dogs I didn't have to worry about the help needed to lift her. I highly recommend Groff Pet Loss Services to everyone who unfortunately loses their pet. The staff is so kind, caring and compassionate. I personally was comforted by Jackie who is fantastic. I was allowed to stay with my Daisy, Tiny and Patch as long as I needed to. They will do all they can to help with the pain a person is feeling. Jackie truly is a very special lady who tends to your pet as if it were her own. I miss my boys and Miss Daisy but they are happy in heaven and I'm quit sure Miss Daisy is still bossing her little brothers.

I could not have ever imagined how compassionate, wonderful and helpful the staff at Groff Pet Loss Services have been to help me through the difficult time of the loss of our dog - Annie. I not only lost Annie, but she was also my parents dog that I took after both my parents had past the year before Annie’s passing. So when she died, it felt as though that was the only last livingconnection that I had that was my parents. Groff was there to help me immediately. Groff did an amazing job taking care of my dog rufus. I asked for a paw print and they went above and beyond and kept a little tuft of hair, did his print on his nub foot (he had missing toes) and did a snout print for us. This is the second time we have used Groff’s for the loss of a pet and I am never disappointed. This time was a different circumstance, we had lost our beloved dog to a tragic accident late in the evening and we didn’t know what to do. I contacted a group we both belong too and they helped me get in touch with Jackie. I also received messages from Morgan, and Kara. Even at that time of night I received a message from Jackie and she told me what I needed to do. Jackie even went above and beyond and came and picked up our dog when there was no way I could get back in time to bring the dog to her. I already gave a sincere and meaningful review of the outstanding Groff work. Texting me a month later while I'm still grieving to ask me how the cremation went down and how was the service is heartbreaking and intrusive. When my parents pass I pray I'm not asked this same question. I'd like Groff to be happy with the positive info I provided during the event. You're a fantastic business who provided outstanding service but realize most of us are not that familiar w the process and when our loved one is gone, we may not want the one month later request for review.Sadly my beloved Jett was more than a dog. Because of my negative family dynamic JettDog was also a mediator, educator, and protector. When that protective layer has gone across the bridge I may be vulnerable. I lost my beloved 9 yr old pit mix Bella suddenly Jan 22nd, 2022. I was never able to have kids so she was my child. Losing a child or even a pet is never easy but knowing there are people like Jackie and Groff out there helps just a little.They were awesome from beginning to end. Process (paperwork) was quick and they let us take as long as we needed to say goodbye one last time (I had my niece with me and she was having trouble letting go). They even saved me a trip back to Sandusky/Huron and let me pick up the ashes at the funeral home in Norwalk which was closer for me. Jackie checked up on me via text several times which was very sweet. They were a lot cheaper than most places around as well...way cheaper in fact. I even got a nose print and a paw print with little cards in addition to the nice container the ashes came in. All in all a great experience and I would definitely recommend Groff Pet Loss Services to anyone who wants to cremate their babies.

I wanted to make sure to leave a review for Groff and specifically Jackie. We unexpectedly lost our dog, Brutus, while being back in the area for some family events from out of state. While this is really hard for a pet that's part of your family, it's even harder being 500 miles from home and all that goes with it. This happened on a Sunday and the whole family was devastated. I wasn't going to bury him and leave him behind, so I immediately looked online and found that Groff will do pet cremations. I called their number and talked to the answering service for the weekend. Within minutes of that phone call, Jackie text me back. I explained to her that I was staying in town for a few more days for work and she said she would take care of Brutus first thing the next morning to make sure I had his cremains before heading back home. She was able to show a ton of compassion through the whole process and even text me to follow up a couple weeks later. It's been tough and still is, but I appreciate what Jackie and Groff did after losing my best friend.

I never considered a funeral home for end of life plans for our pet. When it came time to put our dog down after 13 years, the vet told me that they couldn’t tell me exactly where she would be going to be cremated. They said that they use multiple locations for cremation. After doing a little bit of research, I realized that dogs are cremated with other dogs. Meaning that you may only get a little bit of your dog back if any. You’ll end up with a mixture of other dogs that were cremated at the same time. That’s heartbreaking. When I called Groff Funeral Home, my call was answered with so much compassion. They answered every question that I had. They also reassured me that they only cremate one dog at a time which was important to me. They also were able to go and pick up our dog from the vet and take her to the funeral home. She assured me that she was the only one who would be caring for our dog, and that she was in good hands. It was so much of a sense of relief to know that our baby would be taken care of. Our family felt like their only client throughout this entire process. And they were extremely understanding of our grief process . I’m so glad that we chose them over just sending our dog to another county or an hour and a half away. It just didn’t seem right, but this did. I highly recommend Groff funeral home for their pet service's. Jackie is amazing and also is a pet owner who understands. You also get an online obituary for your pet that includes a picture at no extra charge. I truly felt like Jackie took a lot of the burden off of us so that we were able to properly grieve.

This is a late response to adding a review, however, I can not say enough good things about this service. Our sweet Mollie died on April 10th. It was a weekend, they returned my call the very next morning and were so accommodating to meet me to take our sweet girl. They were so compassionate and caring. Walked through the steps that were going to happen. Allowed me a few moments before they took her to be prepared for cremation. Just to let anyone know if they should need this service at a very sad time, the Groff family made a very hard time as easy as possible for us. On November 3rd we lost our sweet girl Jessi unexpectedly. I had to call them before they opened and Kara was amazing! She was patient and sympathetic and listened to me as I was in tears. She had 2 men come to my house (I'm sorry I didn't get their names)immediately and they took care of Jessie with such compassion and respect. The next day Jessie was brought home to us by a very sweet man. Again, I didn't get his name. Jackie got ahold of us sending her condolences and letting us know they were there for us which I want her to know is much appreciated. They understand that your pet is family and nothing less! I'm grateful that there is such a service available. With my Mom and I both disabled, and having 100lb dogs I didn't have to worry about the help needed to lift her. I just went through one of the hardest times of my life I lost my best friend of 11years I saw Groff did cremation I can't tell you the love and kindness they showed me and Milo I have told everyone in willard ohio about them they will take care of all my animals I felt like I was with family they are all the best

On December 7th we suddenly lost our almost 9 year old Saint Bernard at 6:00 at night called groff pet services and they were able to meet us and transport our big boy on his last ride I could not have asked for a better experience rest in peace Max we love you

My 13 1/2 yr old dog passed away unexpectedly and I was distraught. The staff was compassionate, calming and friendly and helped take as much of the pain as they could out of this process. The urn, paw prints, photo and hair clipping were very special.

This is a late response to adding a review, however, I can not say enough good things about this service. Our sweet Mollie died on April 10th. It was a weekend, they returned my call the very next morning and were so accommodating to meet me to take our sweet girl. They were so compassionate and caring. Walked through the steps that were going to happen. Allowed me a few moments before they took her to be prepared for cremation. We received a nose amd paw print along with her ashes in a beautiful urn. Every step of the process was nothing but amazing. Thank you all for everything!!!!Love the Williamson family

Jackie always took care of me when I lost my babies she has so much compassion caring and gentleness I feel like she's family we even shared tears together she understands your grief and we'll sit and comfort you it's just so so amazing I can't even put it into words how I feel about the care and comfort and compassion I received she even came out to my house one time to pick up my one baby that died cuz I was just too upset to do it and she was so gentle with her and just just a wonderful wonderful person thank you so much Jackie I will never forget the care that you gave my babies and me
