I have used Live Oak (thru my vet office) for having a couple of my beloved dogs cremated. I am always most grateful for their services, care, compassion & their sympathy rainbow card acknowledging my loss. The urns they offer are pretty and of nice quality as is my pup’s paw print. All are nicely & securely boxed up when delivered back to you. I appreciate the care taken & believe they hold strong values in what they do to provide that extra piece of mind by sharing their love. I highly recommend them to best care for your pet once they sadly cross over that Rainbow Bridge. Thank you Live Oak for your professionalism and TLC.

We had a really great experience with Live Oak, even in the midst of all the sadness surrounding our pet’s passing. Everyone we worked with was very friendly, helpful, and empathetic - from the first phone call to the delivery - and we very much appreciated that Live Oak offers delivery so we didn’t have to drive out of our way. We chose the cedar box urn with an engraving. The urn itself is beautiful and the kind note from the Live Oak team, as well as the Rosemary and Forget Me Not seeds, was a very nice touch. Thank you to everyone at Live Oak for all that you guys do.

My baby girl Winnie was young and passed away unexpectedly and she was given to Live Oak from the vet I use. I got her back packaged beautifully with a handwritten card. Very emotional to say the least. I am very happy and pleased with the services Live Oak provided.

The staff at Live Oak handled our senior Great Dane's cremation after he passed from cancer. They were so very kind and empathetic from the first phone call to delivery. Having our dog's ashes returned in a beautifully arranged package with a sympathy card, rosemary sachet, packet of Forget-Me-Not seeds, a paw print and the cedar urn was so comforting. We've used other services in the past, but we were so impressed with Live Oak, we'll only use and recommend them in the future.

It has taken me 8 months to write this review. My Family My service dog my world was abused by the vetrinarians and I sent him to texas a&m for a necropsy. The owner of this business seemed to be very kind until he asked if I wanted a paw print and I said yes and he said they could probably find a paw in there somewhere to use. Enough said. his paw ptint is still in the box he came back in and will never be displayed. Additionally the day after I left this review Scott the owner called me a 7 am the next morning while I was asleep to ask me to clarify. Clairfy what you had to fish around in the remains for a paw? Seriously? Block his number and thanks for the trauma.

Amazing in every aspect of the word. They were patient with me as I tried to figure out what I wanted as I said goodbye to my best friend, were easy to reach as I made changes in my decisions, and were thoughtful, kind, and communicative throughout the whole process.

Savannah and the whole staff was outstanding. While this is never an easy process, her compassion and care were second to none. She answered all of our questions and helped us through the process. Everything was as promised. If you are ever in need of these services I would highly recommend Live Oak Pet Services.

First woman I spoke with was great I think her name may have been Samantha. The second female I spoke with was horrible with a bad attitude & she forgot to put me on mute as she talked about me to her coworker including calling me ‘weird’ for some reason when all I wanted was to purchase an urn for my dog so it could be ready by the day of the cremation. She also hung up on me when I literally did nothing wrong, I wish I got her name. I’m so happy I didn’t choose this place. This is already a stressful thing to go through, why be evil. Be careful pet parents before dealing with this place.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Live Oak Pet Services for how compassionate and understanding they were when my sweet Oliver passed away. I was obviously devastated and Scott (the owner) was incredibly professional and kind when I called to ask them about their services. I did not want to have my dog shipped somewhere in a box to be cremated, and this is one of the only places that will let you bring your pet there and have them cremated while you wait (so you get to bring them home with you the same day). This is exactly what I wanted. The location is absolutely beautiful and they have a comfortable waiting room for you in their "guest cottage" attached to the facilities. Scott took the time to show me where my dog would be cremated and to explain the process since I wanted to know the details of what to expect. One of the lovely ladies (I'm so sorry I didn't catch her name in my sadness, but she was incredibly gentle and kind) asked if she could take my puppy into the back to get an imprint of his paws since I had requested some. She handled him so delicately and returned him as soon as she was done. Scott waited with me the entire time I was at the facility and showed me all the options that I had for urn, etc. He let me talk about my memories of Oliver and really took the time to make me feel like I was more than just a number. It's things like that which are important during your time of loss.I received Oliver's ashes in a pretty blue velvety bag (I got to choose the color) along with a "care" box that contained the paw prints that I had requested (I'm pretty sure you have to specifically ask for this anywhere you go, so if you want them, be sure to request them before your pet is cremated), a custom hand written note, some seeds, a little rosemary, and some sweet words about the Rainbow Bridge and the meaning behind the seeds & rosemary. It was such a thoughtful gift.I chose an urn and a beautiful wooden memory box to keep it in, both with custom engraving. Everything was shipped to me incredibly fast and was packaged very well to ensure that it arrived undamaged. Both the urn and the memory box were incredibly well made and absolutely beautiful.I really couldn't have chosen a better place to have my precious puppy cremated. The time and energy that they gave to me during the process, just to ensure that I had a warm and caring experience, meant the world to me. I felt like my dog was treated with the utmost respect and love the entire time. Thank you, Live Oak Services, for your kind words, and gentleness. You made this process go very smoothly which allowed me to focus on grieving instead of juggling a bunch of "funeral/cremation to-do's".I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone with a pet. Your furry family member deserves the best and that's exactly what this place is. You genuinely won't find a better company to handle the cremation process.

They handled my fur baby with the up most care with the most beautiful oak urn, sending her home with a heart felt hand written note signed by all the staff taking it above and beyond my expectations as a pet service specialist they also sent her home with forget-me-not flowers and rosemary seeds to plant in the spring with a beautiful meaning behind them, they were gentle and so understanding throughout the whole process. I had also requested ink prints of my baby girl and they were able to get both of her paws and put multiple prints on several different cards to which I am so grateful for. I loved and enjoyed my whole experience through live oaks pet services and will definitely be going back many many years down the road when another fur baby of mine passes over the rainbow bridge

I lost Hazel on my husband's birthday and exactly 2.5 years after he died. I was devastated. From the 1st phone call I was treated with kindness, respect and empathy. Hazel came home today - carefully packaged with love. If the need arises I absolutely recommend Live Oak Pet Services.

My mother used their services for her cat. She was very appreciative of their little touches they gave with her pet. We had the red cedar box and a plate put on it. My mother loved the great attention they put into the box for her pet. They were very reasonable, friendly and caring. I will recommend them to our family and friends. I will use them as well when I need their services. Thank you for easing the pain of losing a beloved pet.

I cannot praise Live Oak Pet Services enough. They were prompt and dependable. Every interaction that I had with the staff about the cremation of my sweet MollyBird was kind and compassionate. Molly passed in the evening, I left a VM and they returned my call first thing the next morning. Within an hour, Ethan arrived to take her into their care… and, I was fortunate enough that Ethen was the person to bring her home to me. They were so sweet and thoughtful… very professional. MollyBird was lovingly brought back, along with her ink noseprint, a clay paw print, two packages of flower seeds, her cremation certificate, and a handwritten letter, thanking me, signed by all of the staff. Thank you so much, @liveoakpetservices. ❤️

My vet sent my dog here and I was very clear on the services I wanted done. I paid for it, I saw the order form filled out. Got him back but there was no paw imprint included. I called Live Oak myself. The guy I talked to was emotionless and if he apologized, I don't remember it. He literally blamed it on the vet and his apathy made me so angry I just hung up on him. Wasn't going to call him a liar, and it wasn't going to get anything fixed. Since they got the urn correct, I'm assuming they DID get the order from the vet, same as I saw it. Why wouldn't they? My thing is, this can't be made right. My dog is gone forever and it can't be rectified. The vet is going to reimburse the charge for the paw print, but that doesn't fix Live Oak's oversight. One thing I will say, though, is the base model cedar urn is very nice and well-made. I've cremated a lot of pets and it's one of the nicest I've seen.

One of my sweet cats passed last year and I had her cremated. They handled everything so well. The box I received contained a very nice letter, along with seeds to plant on her ashes should I ever decide to do so. I did take almost two weeks to pick her remains up bc I could not take the pain. He was very understanding and did not charge extra because I did not pick it up immediately. If I ever have to have one of my pets cremated again I will chose them.

My vet uses Live Oak and I was nothing short of impressed. They did take a little over a week (I was antsy waiting to get my urn back) but it was worth the wait. The urn was personally engraved with my cats name and a beautiful design under. It came in a gorgeous mahogany box with a signed note expressing their sympathy, smell goods, and a packet of flower seeds. They went above and beyond. I truly believe my baby was treated with respect and dignity even after she passed.

I recently had my beloved Golden Retriever boy pass away unexpectedly from a neuter. I called Live Oak to make arrangements for his cremation, but when I called they did not share any sympathy or condolences for my loss. I called a several times just to see if it was just a fluke the first time. I am surprised how matter of fact and cold they were in reading all of the other positive reviews. Cremating my boy is the last thing I thought I would be doing right now, and they treated it like a transaction. I did not use them and chose a crematorium that I trusted to lovingly handle my boy.

When my cat died, I gave them his body and the next day I was able to get his ashes back because I requested a private witness cremation. They included rosemaries and forget me nots and a letter and a pamphlet about the rainbow bridge in the box with his urn. I asked them for his whiskers because I forgot and they gave me them with his ashes. When I took a moment to say goodbye before his cremation, they closed his eyes and mouth and positioned his paws very kindly.

I just received my urn back for Maximus and I can not express enough how happy I am with them from the phone conversations of discussing the different options down to getting him delivered to me. The quality of the urn is amazing. They outdid themselves with the hand written note sent with him and I’m beyond pleased to know that they would take such good care of my pet and to know the last people to handle him are as thoughtful as they are. I will never go anywhere else. This service really can mean the world to people.

Very nice place! Friendly and compassionate staff! My dog crossed the Rainbow Bridge in December of 2015. Her urn is cedar and it has her picture on it. I love her paw print! They did a very nice job! Highly recommend this place!

Two weeks w lack of communication. Made contact and was told that the urn was out getting engraved and delivery would be the bext day. My cat was returned after hrs.luckily the staff at the vet knew my urgency and allowed a late pickup. But my view is the promises and info was poor. My vet will lose my business because of their assosiation.

My dog recently passed, they did a great job with the urn and paw print. I’m sorry to whom ever has to use them, but know that they’ll treat your companions with great care.

I lost my baby April 22nd she was a 14yr old Pitbull... We took her remains here April 25th and I'm thankful that I received a call today. I was a little worried at first but I'm so happy that they called to inform me about what was going on.

Scott is so nice understanding. He made a very difficult time easier. Thank you Scott for showing me the same compassion that I show the families I deal with as a funeral director. I will recommend Live Oak to eveyone.

not sure how long cremation is supposed to take but it was over a week until we were able to pick up my dogs remains, my mother in law was very upset over the loss of her dog. i had called a few times over the week to get an update because every time i called the only answer they could come up with was “i don’t know” or “im not sure” until i finally suggested they send the ashes without the custom urn and send that at a later date. my final call yesterday i was told “oh you call every single day don’t ya” which i found EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional and completely unnecessary. i wouldn’t have to keep calling if i got an ACTUAL ANSWER as to when i could pick up. would NOT recommend.
