Paw to Paw Cremation has received overwhelmingly positive reviews for their compassionate service and professionalism during a difficult time for pet owners. Many customers appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as paw prints and personalized urns, which helped them commemorate their beloved pets. However, there were some negative experiences reported regarding communication issues and service delays, which detracted from the overall positive sentiment.

I lost my sweet Lily on 8/8 after having her for over 11 years and I was just devastated. I knew I wanted to keep her with me forever, so I was very thankful to find Paw to Paw Cremation. I was greeted with compassion and kindness from the moment I called. When I arrived to drop Lily off, I was given as much time as I needed to say my final goodbye to her. I loved the idea of having her paw print created out of clay so that was a must. When I picked her up 10 days later, she was beautifully placed in a bag with forever wildflowers, a card with a poem, and her paw print. I know they took really good care of my sweet girl! I would recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely use their service again in the future if needed.

Laura! I can never thank you enough for the compassion you showed me and family as we said goodbye to our boy. Laura made the process as smooth and painless as possible. She eased all my anxieties. My sweet boy is home the same day he passed. If you are anxious and paranoid about cremation like me Laura will take good care of you. Thank you so much for taking care of my boy and our family.

I lost my fur baby on 2/5/24 and I was beyond devastated. I had no clue what to do or who to call. Luckily my best friend found paw to paw. She passed after hours but they came and picked her up and they were very understanding especially during this difficult time. I highly recommend this place. I actually received my fur baby remains today ❤️ they delivered her to me. I can’t thank you guys enough.

I lost my baby and best friend unexpectedly on 07/31, and I didn't know how I would continue. From my first call, I was treated with so much compassion and respect that it literally made things better for me. I love that I was able to get paw and nose prints to commemorate my baby, and the literature included was so comforting and very much needed!

The staff was so kind and responsive. I was very grateful to find a place that was open on Sunday and I love the paw prints that they were able to get from my pup.

My family is very thankful with Paw to Paw Pet Cremation. Losing our beloved fur baby was the most painful experience we have experienced and when I contacted them, Laura was very kind and provided the information we needed. We just picked up the urn and they did a beautiful job. All the staff was very compassionate and understanding of our pain and provided us their support.

Horrible experience despite our loss they made the memorable experience even worse, mis communication on their service hours I drove 1 hr to and back to try and pick up my pet and they were never here with “be back soon sign on door “ even when I would wait over 2 hours they would never answer the phone or when I would call and let them know I was on my way they stated they would be here and as I’m approaching to the location they were not here. And to top it off they couldn’t seem to get my “dead” dogs paw to even look decent for the paw print . Like this was definitely not free !! Horrible wouldn’t recommend this location for anything memorable!!!!

When you loss your pet as your family member it is devastating. My Bronx dies this morning at 3:40am I was crying until I have no more tears. I have first called Mansfield area but no one answered-called again 20 times and left message no one call me back-so I decided to have Paw to Paw a call and immediately some one answer the call (Laura) she has been very good with me during my call. I would highly recommended them than any other places.

Losing my bearded dragon Goober has been one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. She is my baby and I love her so much. I came here because I saw all of the nice things that were said about them. It's about a 45 minute drive from me but I was willing to drive anywhere so that Goober could have the best care. They were open on Saturday, so I was able to take Goober to them the day after she had passed last Friday evening.Everything that the reviews say is very true. Everyone I spoke with was very kind and cared about giving Goober the best options for her cremation. I'm thankful that they were able to take in exotics. The box and canvas I chose were very affordable, which made the process so much easier. I wasn't sure if they could get her claw print on the canvas, but they did it and now I have a memento to keep with me by her wooden urn. I cried when I saw how beautiful her claw prints looked, and they were able to get both claws. The urn I chose can have a picture on the front.I pray to God that I don't have to come back here anytime soon, but when the time comes for my babies to cross the rainbow bridge, I will come here. Thank you all so much for helping me through the healing process, and I'm so comforted knowing that she was treated with care and kindness.

My daughter lost her companion (cat) Baby to Leukemia. Baby was incredibly spoiled and loved beyond measure. He was 1.5 years old. He was beautiful and loyal. My husband found this place and we’re so grateful that he did. 🤍 Thank you guys for preparing Baby. He’s now back home, where he belongs.

I am so thankful that they were open on Labor Day when everyone else was closed. Our pet bird passed away and we woke up to find him Labor Day morning. The staff was very kind and patient and allowed us time to say our final goodbyes. When we went to pick-up our urn, a couple was inside dropping off their pet. The employee on-duty met us outside and asked us to wait outside or in our car to allow the couple to say their goodbyes. I'm thankful that their respectful of everyone's feelings during these very difficult times. The glass blowing for the pendants is outsourced, and the company that they work with does an excellent job.

We so very much appreciate people and services who completely understand how precious our animal family members are to us, especially when it's time to mourn the loss of one. There were so many wonderful memorial options for all manner of pets. Laura was patient, kind, and abundantly understanding when family drove up to their small Dallas office to ugly cry over a much-loved pittie and say goodbye. Pepper's memorial box is just gorgeous.

Update:There was a miscommunication error on both sides referring to the phone call that was placed as I was having to make a difficult decision.. I have decided to edit my rating and have since now stated the money I paid that was supposed to go towards the cremation of my baby, will be used for someone else in need and who can’t afford the cremation of their beloved furbaby..

We recently used their service and it was extraordinary. The compassion, the efficiency of service, the professionalism was unbelievable. Our sweet Watson died unexpectedly in our home, and engaging them to help us guide Watson on his last journey was exactly what we needed. There is no one better.

Sadly, we lost our sweet old Noah around midnight. I, at first, had called Tooth Acres which a friend had told me about. They never returned my call. The following morning, my husband called Paw to Paw and the nicest lady answered immediately and arranged for our Noah to be picked up AT OUR HOUSE. The nice man was there in just a few hours. The process was easy and they were sympathetic and treated our Noah (who weighed 90 pounds) with dignity. 5 days later our boy was returned to us by the same nice man who picked him up (the owner perhaps?)... and again was very kind to me and my heartbroken self. They had placed his ashes in a plastic bag inside a muslin drawstring bag in the most beautiful mahogany box with a brass latch with his name monogramed on top. Also included in the bag with the box was a sympathy card and a blue velvet pouch with wildflower seeds to be planted in his honor. We were very impressed with how professionally Paw to Paw handled everything from start to finish and when the need arises again we won't call anybody else. Do not hesitate to call these wonderful and caring people.

I unfortunately lost my Snoopy a couple of weeks ago. I called a few places but when calling Paw to Paw Able answered my call and was truly awesome. He was so understanding and attentive to my pain and heart break. He was so patient with me and offered to help in anyway he could. He didn't rush me he gave me the time needed to leave my baby. He didn't try to pressure me to spend extra money or take advantage of my emotions and let it be my choice. They handled my baby with the utmost respect and care. They have a large selection of urns, boxes, photos, jewelry and accessories for your loved one. I will definitely use them again when the time comes. Thank you to Able and all of the staff for doing what you do it takes special people.

It is heartbreaking to lose your companion. We researched a few places to get cremation done, and we chose Paw to Paw because of the reviews. I’m so happy we did. A few things that stood out is there wonderful and compassionate customer service, great price, pickup and dropoff, punctuality, and the care they put in to everything, every step of the way. Thank you for this wonderful service. We greatly appreciate you all!

All of the staff from the lady on the phone to the very kind pick up driver were so kind and compassionate during our time of severe grief. Piper’s paw print and fur clippings were delivered less than 2 days later which was very comforting to our family. I highly recommend them.

Unbelievably bad experience. I drove from far to drop of our fur baby. I was told to be there at a certain time. He never showed up or had the decency to answer my calls. So we had to drive back with our fur baby.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

After our dog had passed unexpectedly in the evening, we were at a loss of words what to do. After calling about half a dozen places to quickly do the cremation, Paw to Paw was the only place to be open at 8PM. At this point we were about 25 minutes away and it would have been closed by the time that we got there, but after talking on the phone, they had offered to stay open until we got there. After arriving, the staff was extremely kind, patient and understanding of our situation and allowed us as much time to sped our final moments with our pet.

Thank you for your compassion and patience with me this morning. I was an emotional mess.My German Shepherd passed away last night, at home, in peace. I called Paw to Paw this morning to inquire on their services, Jeri, such a kind and patient woman, was very helpful and answered all my questions about the process.Shelby was also really nice. Pickup was really fast, and my pet remains were dropped off, at our home, on the same day. Thank you for having made this process easy for me and my family. I definitely recommend their services.

Gustavo went above and beyond for us. Our dog, Luca, passed away on a Sunday. My husband found Paw to Paw online and called. We live an hour away, and paw to paw closed around 5. Gustavo offered to stay later for us if we didn’t make it before 5. When we got there, he asked every question with care and compassion. He made sure to write everything out exactly how we wanted it. He then asked us if we would like to say one final goodbye, and my husband and I broke down. He told us he would leave the room and we could take as much time as we needed. The process was so easy, and the cremation didn’t take long at all. They even add some extra heartfelt things when you pick up your pet, like a poem and some flower seeds. It was so thoughtful.I know that if we ever lose anymore fur babies in the future, we won’t hesitate to call Paw to Paw. So thankful for you guys and that our hearts are able to heal in a timely manner since we didn’t have to worry one bit about Luca being in your hands. ❤️

We had our parrot, Paco, for 15 years. He was a part of the family and we suddenly lost him one night. We decided to go with Paw to Paw Pet Cremation after several pet parents recommended them. For many of us, our pets are our children and they understand that. They treated our little guy with respect and had many options to choose from. They even have extras like wild seeds to remember our loved one when planted. A card from them about our pet was an extra touch of kindness. I can’t thank Paw to Paw Pet Cremation for going above and beyond for our Paco.

We recently lost a member of our family. She was not a “pet”. We shared life together for 17 years. My wife and I were devastated. We didn’t want to let her go. Paw to Paw was there for us. They were kind, compassionate and assured us they would take care of our little girl. We appreciate their efforts to help us during our difficult time.

I spoke to a very polite gentleman named Abel on March 24 2023, the day my dog of 17 years died, I called & got some basic information about pricing, it would take a week to complete etc. He said I cant drop him off after 72 hours. I think it would have been $209 based on weight. I explained that my dog has literally just died, I was really upset. After trying to come up with the $209, I called back the following day & asked if it was possible to pay $105, half of the $209 at drop off & $105 at pick up. He advised he would check with his boss & they or he would let me know. My poor beloved dogs body layed decaying in a room of my home for 2 days while I waited & tried to figure out what to do. I will never forget the odor... To this day (mid may) I have never heard back from these people. I assume business of this nature likely already do not thrive well, but I did call another business of the same kind, & was actually given payment options, & no 72 hour window. I decided to look over this website again today in a clearer mental state.... compassion? Care?Seriously? What a bunch of bs. These folks don't care about you or your pets, they desperately need your money *right now*. I'm guessing the reviews that are positive are from a few people who happened to have an extra $200 laying around at any given moment. I don't personally recommend this business based on my experience.Disgusting.

My boy passed in the early AM on a Sunday after New Years day- This was one of the only places in Dallas open so I made a call, and decided to take him there. I was and still am a bit of a mess- The website outlined costs, options, etc., and the process was easy, everyone I dealt with was very kind during the process. I got him back quickly, in a carefully wrapped, beautiful gift bag with everything I had asked for. Paw to Paw did an excellent job.

The kindness and compassion they showed my son after losing his boy of 21 years was outstanding. When Tigger passed 11 days ago it was heartbreaking. Thanks to this organization we have him home with us again for forever. Can not say enough nice things about this place.

Very professional and caring service from Paw to paw. Our bunny passed away on Sunday morning, and this was the only pet cremation place we found open during that hour in Dallas area. We were able to pick up our bunny back home two days after we dropped her off at the Dallas location. Thank you for the quick help so we were not separated from her for too long.

First, let me say that the process of cremating our little guy was seamless. The gentleman who came to collect him was kind, friendly and professional. Our issue is related to a general lack of communication on the part of Paw to Paw and their clients.Upon speaking with the representative by phone and scheduling pick up, we were asked what message we wanted engraved on the box that would hold his ashes. The dog actually passed while my wife was out of town and this was her favorite dog. She was due in by noon that day, so I asked if I could talk to her and get back to them.“No problem. We usually have about 48-hours before the process, so take your time and just let us know.” The gentleman even repeated the 48 hour timeframe when he came for pickup. That night, we discussed what we wanted on the box and visited their website noticing there were keepsake items available that would allow us to keep a lock of his hair as well as a clay imprint of his paw. Since my wife was not here at his death, she understandably felt compelled to hold on to pieces of him.The next morning, I received a call from the office again inquiring about what was to be engraved on the box. I told her what we decided and mentioned that my wife really would like a lock of his hair and to have the clay paw print as well.“Oh…”, the lady said sheepishly. “It’s too late for that. He’s already been done.”REALLY? No, “We are about to do it. Do you need anything before we do?” NOTHING. Why offer keepsakes if you don’t intend on selling them? My wife, already beside herself, from losing her little buddy, was devastated.I talked to the owner (after having to call twice to get him to call back). He was nice enough. He gave us a small discount, but let’s be honest. It wasn’t like he made a pizza wrong and could remake it. What was done was done. They denied us the opportunity to keep something of our dog beyond just his ashes. My best advice if you use these people is to have your ducks in a row before you call them. Know what you want because they will not go out of their way to offer anything more than cremation. If that’s all you need, this is your place. Otherwise, maybe try some other places.

We brought in our parrot after he unexpectedly passed away from liver disease. The employee that walked us through our options of what we could do was very sensitive and professional. We are so grateful as they even went above and beyond. Parrots have a metal band around their leg with information about where and when they were hatched, and we asked if they'd be able to take it off of our parrot so that we can hang onto it. They were able to give it to us when we picked up his urn and pendant, and that meant SO much to us. The quality of the urn and pendant are great as well. I would highly recommend them to anybody who (unfortunately) would need their services.

The staff are true professionals and very compassionate. My dog, Buddy passed on a Friday, while my wife was in ICU and then my wife passed on Sunday. I can't express how great the people associated with the business are.

When our Copper passed away in May 3, 2021, my husband called Paw to Paw and was told that the earliest PRIVATE cremation was May 6th at Mabank because they had (monthy?) maintenance done aside from having someone earlier in queue. We were welcomed by Shelby who was very professional, kind, and courteous. We ordered a wooden silver box urn and had Copper's name, DOB, DOD, and a memorial statement engraved. Shelby didn't charge us for the extra line. She also did a great job with Copper's paw print. Thank you so much for the great service!

The people at Paw to Paw were amazing and compassionate. During this emotional time, we completely trusted them to guide us and take care of our beloved dog. They exceeded our expectations which is why I highly recommend them. Paw to Paw was there for us, and I know they will be a good choice for you!

They are used by vet services and privately. They handled my cat Gryphon earlier this year. The box They provided was his color (coincidence but made me happy). My bearded dragon just passed away so I used them directly. They are super nice and professional. The building itself partially looks like it needs renovation but they give options for boxes, clay with paw prints and urns.

We placed our fur baby, Petey Green in the care of Paw to Paw on 2/24/2021. Petey was 15 yr and 1 wk old when he passed peacefully at home. To say we very pleased with the professional services provided is an understatement. We have several other senior dogs and when the time comes we will call on them for their final arrangements. THANK YOU...

The hardest thing is to say goodbye. I lost Ringo on Monday and paw to paw was amazing. Shelby and the other staff were so supportive and kind. I give them 10 stars! If you have lost a pet please go to Paw to Paw cremation. Thank you again

My baby girl passed yesterday morning so I'm a basket case I knew I wanted to do a cremation if I could afford the process. Jeri from Paw to Paw was a God send because of her compassion and patience with me during this process. She let me cry and answered all of my questions with better answers then I expected to get. If you ever need a service like this give Paw to Paw a call I promise you will be so much more then satisfied with them! Jeri and Heath (owner) made this ordeal almost bearable for me😢😢

They were so kind, and took care of everything- picked my deceased kitty up and dropped off her ashes to my house- with more compassion than I ever expected. They brought my baby’s ashes with a thoughtful card, and a little pack of wildflower seeds to plant a memory garden. Best experience I could have asked for in such a sad moment.

I hope no pet owner has to lose a pet and then use this service, but if you unfortunately have to use it, this is the best place to go. Not just in terms of timely service, but everyone here is very respectful and understands how traumatized we may be after losing our best friend.
Bryan Shackleford
My experience with Paw to Paw was outstanding. They were compassionate and very easy to work with. I'll have no hesitation when it comes to contacting them again in the future. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

If I could give this place a million stars, I would. Yesterday, my Suziee Quee crossed the rainbow bridge. This morning I called when they opened to go through my options. I was so beside myself but the staff made sure to show compassion and care.Echo, the lady who answered the phone, was so patient with me as I tried to talk through my tears and sobs. Not once did she rush me or become aggravated with me. The whole process of how I wanted Suziees urn to be, picking out her paw print print out, and even made a note to save the test paw print so I can get a tattoo of it felt comforting. She’s the best.Shelby, who came pick up Suziee, is also the best! From the moment we met, she had a comforting spirit about her. I asked her if I can walk down with her when she brought Suziee to the truck and she said “You can be apart of any part of the process you would like to be in.” As she walked into my house and picked up Suziee, she was extremely respectful of her body and handled her with care. Once we got down to the car, she let me have one final moment with her. She made this process a lot easier than if I would have had to do it myself.Gustavo- he gave me a call once the whole process was finished. Being that I am going to pick her up, he said he will put her urn on his desk and have her ready for when I go pick her up. I know Suziee will like the extra attention or being on his desk lol. She likes the attention.Thank you so much team for everything you do and making this easier on me despite the circumstances.

I will definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. They made the grieving process much easier by providing us a beautiful memory of our furry friend. Everyone I spoke with was so nice and I cannot be more thankful for this company. Thank you again for everything you do.

Unacceptable, unsatisfactory service.I had ordered the ENGRAVED necklace from their own website. Asked twice to make sure engraving was available only to not get the product with the engraving I had asked for and paid for. They do not keep you updated on when you will be receiving your pet, you are just in a limbo waiting, no estimation is given. And when they delivered my pet's ashes, THEY DELIVERED TO THE WRONG HOUSE. WRONG HOUSE. It is completely intolerable that all this occurred. I was not able to grieve in peace due to all these issues with Paw to Paw cremation.
